This place was a bit of a dump. It was strangely humid inside, an elevator has been down for over a year, the working elevators are painfully slow, stuffy, and hot. The beds are very old and you fall into the natural indentation of where people have slept year after year. Only 1 k-cup of non decaf coffee for a 4 night stay was odd. Walls are paper thin and I had loud neighbors every night who kept me awake for hours and would bang on the connecting door at 2am. All conversations can be hear clearly through the walls. Says room service but no menus in rooms, have to get them from restaurant. Showers are old but work. For the price, I was surprised at what a dump this place was. However, some good points: staff was very kind and not cheesy, cookies obviously were good, they had nice toilet paper, and close to grocery store and a few chain and other spots to eat. Would probably not stay here again.

Check in was slow. Only one elevator is working. And there was no gluten free options in the free breakfast.

I didn't care for the lack of parking. I was charged $18 to park in a parking area across the way. However, there was an available spot open. They allowed me to park there, but I was still charged for parking across the street.

It was a nice hotel Close to the airport but far from everything else

I liked the breakfast selection - good variety and healthy. Dining room staff were helpful and friendly. However, since breakfast is automatically included shouldn't patrons be given the option to take the food back to their room? I can see if the breakfast buffet was an option then you wouldn't want people who paid to take back food to their room for those that didn't pay. Embassy Suites allows patrons to take their food back to their rooms. Doubletree should consider that. Otherwise, fitness room was nice and clean. Housekeeping very flexible about cleaning rooms around our schedule. Parking was not that inconvenient although there should be more parking next to the hotel. Computers in lobby were convenient although one of them was not working. Having coffee and water in the lobby was a nice touch. Self-laundry was adequate since it was not busy. Also, good location in El Segundo - near main streets as Grand, Continental, Mariposa and Sepulveda and Atwood freeway entrance. Overall, a nice stay!

The customer service was excellent and the overall hotel was really nice. The rooms are could use some updating such as the carpet and beds could be replaced! I would recommend anyone to stay here. I enjoyed it!

Location was perfect and the staff were very friendly.

Full complimentary breakfast!! Everybody was friendly and helpful!

Every employee was cheerful and happily greeted us every encounter. These people are exceptional

We all really enjoyed are stay the staff was very nice

I didn't like that they put me in a noisy room by the elevator and it was over a loud generator or something. I booked a room with a city view only to be put on the second floor with a view of the hotel delivery driveway. Then they tried to charge me for smoking when I wasn't.

the warm cookies were great and that was the best part

The only negative I have is they were running low on towels

Very nice staff. The shuttle is delayed, but reimbursed for taxi ride.

Good experience. Good price. Paid parking for $15 a day. Breakfast $18 a day.

Worst customer service experience. Too much money spent on non sense
