We chose this property for the shuttle to the airport. The guy the night we checked in was really friendly, but wrote down the wrong day for our departure, so we weren’t scheduled. The woman scheduled that day then lectured us for not giving ourselves enough time. The diver was then unfriendly and barely acknowledged us.

I have stayed at Sonesta Select at least 10 times during last 3 years of my travels to LA. I Truly Love this hotel...Unfortunately, things have Changed since November 2024. It is Still Clean, But there was Only 1 CLEANING Lady on my Floor. And, She was a New Hire. 10 or 20 Rooms being Cleaned by 1 person...Amazing Job...but Too Much for 1 small Woman...at any A. The General Appearance of the place, Has Been Compromised. Is Senesta El Segundo going to Sell? CLOSE?? THE FRONT DESK IS SWAMPED WITH CHECK-- INS Every Evening. Just 1 person Cheerfully doing their job. In my Mon--Fri Stay there were 2 staff members 1 day shift and 1 night. Still 10 min shuttle from LAX, but Really. SOMETHING HAS CHANGED. THIS IS NOT THE SONESTA EL SEGUNDO I HAVE COME TO KNOW AND LOVE. WHERE IS MANAGEMENT WHEN THE POOL SIDE TOWELS--REMAINED WET--From Rain--on Pool Chair Backs, OR ON THE GROUND FOR 5 DAYS?? YES I HAD A BALCONY POOLSIDE ROOM, SO THIS IS NOT A RUMOR. SONESTA, EL SEGUNDO, This was Shameful. And Your Rooms were Still All Occupied.
