My room had no toilet tissue; no remote; and the bathroom smelled of urine.

AFTER READING THE REVIEWS FOR THIS HOTEL I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED AT THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. I CALLED TO SCHEDULE A SHUTTLE TO PICK ME UP FROM THE LAX AIRPORT. AFTER I TOLD THEM WHICH AIRLINE I HAD ARRIVED AT THEY NEVER TOLD ME WHAT TO LOOK OUT OR NOTHING ABOUT THE APPEARANCE OF THE VEHICLE THAT WOULD BE PICKING ME UP. ONCE I ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL, I TRIED TO CHECK IN EARLY BUT THEY WERE NO ROOMS AVAILABLE. I WENT TO THE OUTSIDE PATIO TO SIT & ENJOY THE POOL AREA. THE SEATS HAD LEAVES ALL OVER THEM. THEY WERE LEAVES IN THE POOL. IT JUST LOOK REALLY DISGUSTING. NOT AT ALL HOW THE POOL PICS ON THE WEBSITE LOOK. ANYTIME I PASSED BY THE FRONT CHECK IN AREA THERE WERE NO HELLOS JUST FROM THE SAME ONE EMPLOYEE. WHEN I CALLED TO SCHEDULE A SHUTTLE TO TAKE ME BACK TO THE AIRPORT I ALSO TRY TO CHECK OUT OVER THE PHONE MORE LIKE I ASKED IF I COULD. THE EMPLOYEE JUST TOLD ME NO. NEVER ELABORATED AS TO WHY?? ANYWHO THIS HOTEL REALLY FELL BELOW MY STANDARDS AS FAR THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I FELT LIKE I HAD TO TUGG JUST TO ANSWER WHICH THEY SHOULD MORE THEN FORTH COMING WHEN ANDWERING CUSTOMER WUESTIONS. IT JUST FELT LIKE CLOSE ENDED ANSWERS. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND STAYING HERE.

We arrived 10pm and were told that our room was not ready. After waiting for over an hour, we finally got a room and noticed the A/C was barely working. Since it was late we decided to go to sleep in hopes it would cool the room. We awoke at 4am to a hot and stuffy room. When I spoke to the front desk, I was told we needed to make due with our room. The next morning we checked out and moved to another hotel for the remainder of our trip. The staff was rude and indifferent.

Very clean and updated. Great breakfast. Shuttle service good as well. Only drawback was beds are very firm.

Employees were great, kids loved the pool, lobby was pristine, but dear lord our room was horrific. Perhaps it was because it was a ground floor room but I couldn’t even sleep as I felt I was breathing in mold. The damp, moldy smell of the room was so strong I could almost taste it. The bedspread had a large stain on it. The white drapes also had a large stain of something that looked like blood and the lower half was black with dirt. I’m not a germ-a-phob but this crossed the line and I felt the need to disinfect after staying here.

Great hotel with great location. The room was nice and clean. I like that they had fridge in the room. Complimentary Airport shuttle was really nice to have

When I arrived, by mistake I parked in the airport shuttle parking spot, immediately a lady driver from the shuttle told me in bad manners to move, but her shuttle was blocking me in the front and there was a car blocking me from behind. She started arguing and insulting me...(what a way to greet a guest!), then she contacted the front desk and told something to the person in charge. When I checked in, the man at the Front Desk treated me bad, ignoring my reservation an being very rude. At the end they gave me a far away, ugly and noisy room. Fairfield should be more careful with their employees, because instead of hosting guests, they scare them.

Hotel was clean, bed comfortable, free breakfast and was close to airport not far from beaches for site seeing. Only bad experience is the shuttle to & from airport this is why I choose hotel prices were higher but free shuttle ok, first shuttle driver are not friendly, no hotel staff tell you what shuttle looks like, shuttle passes you up unless flagged down even when you call requesting shuttle took an hour to get to hotel after flight it's only a 10min drive had to call hotel 2x. then checking out requesting shuttle waited 13min in lobby for it to leave us because no staff or shuttle driver announced they were there so we missed shuttle to our flight. Staff was not helpful but I would recommend for clean rooms & location.

We waited at the airport for a shuttle for a LONG time. Finally took alternate transportation. We found out later that it runs every half hour. We had no way of knowing this. Our room was very tight. It also faced the sun and only had a sheer curtain so it really never cooled down. By the time we figured this out, we'd already unpacked so we didn't ask for another room. The bed was ok but the pillows were very uncomfortable.

Hotel was just okay. Small. Most staff were nice. Front desk lady was rude. Refused to give us late check out of even 30 minutes. Breakfast staff nice. On site parking not really on site. It's across the street and if you park late you have to park far. Waste of 14$ a night. I wouldn't stay again unless I had to.

very pleased with our stay. we had 6pm flight the following day and Fairfield allowed us a late check out at 2pm.

Good location and very clean! Great hotel... really enjoyed our stay!
