The hotel is nice, comfy, and clean. Check-in at 4pm, I arrived at 5:30pm and had to wait 30 mins for a room because housekeeping was behind. They offered some bottles of water, a few snacks, and a late checkout the next morning. Later that evening we discovered we had forgotten our toothbrushes and toothpaste. Yo my surprise the hotel was out of toothpaste and could only provide one toothbrush. Red flag everyone! This hotel is having management problems!! Overall the staff was friendly and I could sense their frustration when they were not able to accommodate their guests. At no point did they truely offer any sort of compensation for the lack of performance. $250 per night and 3 star rating is not appropriate for my experience.

I actually extended my stay because this place felt the most homey and felt like the best bang for my bucks. Great value.

Wonderful staff and the hotel staff provided customer service beyond the usual.

I had the most wonderful experience. Everyone was really nice and showed hospitality. I would love to come back.

Great stay but people upstairs were noisy. I would want to stay upstairs next time.

The room was perfect for 3 adults. The staff were all very polite and made us feel at home.

It is very comfortable and spacious rooms, it has everything basic for the kitchen. We really liked the place.

The hotel was nice, always easy parking and the room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Very clean. Breakfast was good and the lobby facilities, pool and hot tub were nice, they had a fire pit in the evenings too. Staff was mostly friendly, some more than others, but always helpful. Wifi was great. Pets are welcome here and we did see them in the lobby, pool and basketball areas, no problem but something to know if you don't like to be around dogs. The location is a little hard to notice your first time in, a small driveway next to a Toyota dealer. You could walk next door to Target easily. But it's on a busy road, you can only turn right getting out and sometimes that was tough. But it's close to the beach and highways. Our only complaint was noise. Like some other reviewers, I agree that you get a lot of road or parking lot noise, and the heating/AC unit made a loud buzz before starting up. We were close to the pool but I think these noise issues would have been anywhere. Also, one of our nights the group above us had a very loud party, thumping bass music, just awful. After 11pm I called to complain and was told it would be handled, and within 30 minutes the police were there and the noise was over! That's not the hotel's fault so I'm not considering it in my review except for the fact that they were responsive and took care of the problem. Overall a great value but will try something else next time due to noise.

Awful stay, heater was broken no one came to fix It even after I called twice requesting for it to be fixed. The police also had to be called because there was a party going on and it was beyond noisey. The staff was accommodating after the fact.

Loved it clean comfortable, only drawback Ice maker in freezer did not work i reported It to front desk clerk i was given a bag of ice And told someone would come fix it that never happened, but the bag of ice did remedy The situation, just would jave been nice to not have to get ice from front desk, otherwise it was a great stay

Nice hotel; 20 minute walk to beach and easy driving access to LA; Manhatten Beach is great with many cute shops, great restaurants and clean beach; hotel breakfast was decent and beds comfy; rooms are not soundproof and we had very noisy guests above with lots of thuds; overall okay for the cost and location

The staff was nice and the breakfast was great. Lots of variety!!!

My family of 4 stayed here and we were all pleasantly surprised. Over all, our stay was fantastic. We were very close to the beach and vicinity. The property is well maintained. Full kitchen in our room. A nice variety of breakfast items. Pet friendly was what brought us here :) The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Parking and security was also A+ A huge problem was our bed. The mattress was the most uncomfortable thing ever.

Location: Perfect if you are doing theme parks, was a 45 minute drive to Disney, carpool lane we got there more quickly. Not a lot of traffic. It is one mile from Manhattan Beach, which was absolutely beautiful and has nice shops and restaurants. Right next to Target so it was easy to get things we needed. Legoland was a nice trip, took about an hour and a half each way. It was fairly close to the airport but I never saw or heard any planes taking off, so the location gets both thumbs up for our trip! Comfort: For a family with little children, it was good to have two rooms and a kitchen so we were not dependent upon eating out the whole time. I would not choose a loft again for my family because I have two bouncy boys who wanted to jump on the bed upstairs and it is too close to the loft, they could fall over the edge. Bonus for free breakfast and evening drinks, and they had plenty to serve everyone. Pool was a little small and packed the whole time so we did not use it. Room Cleanliness: Well, not so great. The tubs and sinks needed scouring, there were dirt rings and the stopper in the bath did not work so the kids were stuck taking showers instead of baths. There were a few tiny ants in the room, we saw them on two separate occasions. Would score that a 3/5. Housekeeping came daily but we were out the door first thing so I never mentioned it. Staff: Fantastic, they were pleasant, smiling and courteous. Everyone was great. Overall: I traveled with a party of five, with three under the age of six and we were out of the hotel most of the time. We went to Disneyland, Hollywood and Legoland and had a great time. I would choose it again for the location, convenience and price but the things I mentioned about needing some touchup and room cleaning would bother some.

not too good, not too bad. just an average/ordinary stay you would expect for the price you pay.

Nice suite with kitchen and lounge area. Staff even cleaned the few dishes we used before we had a chance to. Pool and hot tub were nice, however jets didn't work on hot tub. Also found a small hot tub toward the back of the property the day we were leaving? Breakfast was good, although they would run out of some things and no pancakes.

We only had one minor issue with our room. We told the front desk and they were wonderfull and fixed it right away. The breakfast was awesome! The pool is small but it worked.

The staff at this hotel was fantastic; friendly and helpful. Full breakfast every day, "manager's evenings" 3 nights a week, including cocktails and heavy appetizers. Location is easy to get into and out of and was central for the places we needed to be. The room was clean and comfortable.

The sensor lights in our room turned on 9 different times between the hours of midnight and 5am waking me and my pregnant wife up everytime to turn the lights off. We called the front desk and they explained that they wouldn't be able to fix anything until morning. The staff at the front desk wouldn't refund us any money at first simply saying "there's nothing we can do". After speaking to a different staff member, they did refund us $75 of the $175 that we paid for our 1 bedroom studio. The bathroom smelled like mildew but other than those two things it was a fine hotel. Just make sure your lights are switches if you stay here.

Staff extremely friendly. Great location. Clean. Bathrooms are too dark though.
