We booked a triple room, a double bed and a single bed. Without luggage this room would have not been big enough but with luggage is was almost impossible for three people to get around. The bathroom was a cupboard! Breakfast was basic, toast, cereal tea and coffee (instant). Wifi patchy to non existent. The lovely lady on the desk during the day was helpful and friendly, location is great, you get what you pay for.
Booked this room a few times (once for my father coming to visit) Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Clean rooms and showers, friendly receptionists. For my second booking here, the were a leakage in one of the floors so they arranged for me (and others) to check into the hotel opposite them. Excellent central location - close to Bayswater and Queensway stations, Hyde Park, plenty of resturants (Greek, Lebanese, Persian, Italian) bars and pubs nearby. Good value for money and I would stay here again, but would bring some extra bits for breakfast, or plan to eat out as their breakfast in unimpressive and far from filling.
The room was too small to stand in next to the bed. We had to squeeze through to get from one place to another. Breakfast was bread, butter, jam and serials. Bed was auful, not recommended for any one who still needs his/her back. Although, the staff was very helpfull and nice. They made our stay there bareable.
Fairly central, near Hyde Park. Clean and comfortable. Great value for a short break in London. We were pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews for this hotel, but we had no complaints. Breakfast was cereal and toast, with tea or coffee and orange juice, but for the price we paid for our stay it was fine.
Ok for value and good location. Adequate to clean up and sleep, don't expect too much. We took a twin room, was in a noisy basement and really hot. Breakfast basic but its ok. Girl in reception not very friendly.
Better than I expected for what I paid. The decor could do with a polish and spruce up. Our room was clean and tidy bathroom and towels clean. The breakfast was very basic but like I said earlier for what we paid,I could'nt complain.
Staying at the Wedgewood Hotel for a couple of nights. Pleasantly surprised........ fantastic location, great comfy and clean rooms although 'cosy', staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend it.
We came for a short trip with my mom, we have slept in the hotel, what to say, the rooms are so small and squezed, seems like they wanted to make as many rooms as possible, well may it caused we could hear everything, the neighbours by the sides and from upstairs, the room was quiet dirty, the accesories are very poor, i mean there isnt even a normal blanket, and the beds are so uncomfortable.. a built-in bathroom (which was very hard to found) in the gardrobe was very small but also nice tho. The wifi doesnt working, you lost the connection after every 5 mins. Definately never ever come back.
Ive been there just for 3 nights with a friend. I ve been in london for many years, all the undergrounds are close to any place you want to see, so no problem cause in 3 minuts walking fo the hotel u can find bayswater station. Hotel is nice, quiet but nothing special. Breakfast included is not very good(but we are in london)! Anyway good for price and position.
Value was good and location was in a busy area near Notting Hill with a lot of places to eat and drink. Room and bathroom was very small, walls were thin and could hear people in the next room. No temp control in room, just opened window because it was so hot on the second floor.
