Amazing hotel right in soho. Walk to most everything. Large well decorated rooms. Great bathroom. Comfy bed. Nice tv. Staff was great. Very clean. Price is high but as expected We had a quiet room on fourth floor. Part of the firm dale hotel group
We are not associated to the owners or any staff in any way. We have stayed at The Soho Hotel before and always knew we would return, so we did on Fri 31/05/19 for 2 nights. This is simply a most lovely, modern and high quality hotel smack bang in the middle of the London Scene. What better place to stay to celebrate my wife's 50th Birthday. From the moment we arrived, the door staff who have great personalities and attitudes collected our cases and parked my car. The reception staff made us feel so welcome and checking in was so easy. The ground level has a clean, modern feel leading to the champagne bar and breakfast restaurant. The atmosphere is buzzing, so a very popular hotel indeed. We had booked another deluxe room which had the 'wow' factor before and all of its own, however unbeknown to me, we had been upgraded to their top suite (Room 504) for the weekend. OMG !!!! talk about 'out of this world' it had everything, simply beautiful and had everything you could need. One would have to be so unreasonably pedantic to find any fault, the roof top views were just brilliant, the size, layout, decor, even a vinyl record player with LP's and two very well stocked bars. The main bed was a super king and ohhh to die for. The bathroom with an extra large bath, massive wet room shower and dual wide sinks with all products being from the 'Kit Kemp' range which were just so good. You could stay in there all day and not want to eave, high end quality is boasted throughout. The champagne bar is very long with plenty of seating and an immense range of drinks, a great atmosphere and clearly very popular with residents and visitors. The breakfast restaurant is clean, long and wide with the most polite and helpful staff to assist you every request. The range of foods is just wonderful, something for everyone and lots of it. The Soho Hotel is perfection without a doubt, within minutes of everywhere in Soho district to Oxford St. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable, we shall return again. What a stunning hotel this is. Tucked away off a main road in SOHO, this hotel is like an oasis of quietness within the hustle and bustle of the theatres and China Town a stones throw away. We were checked in efficiently and even got the room ahead of the usual checking time. All of the rooms are individually designed and furnished and even the smallest room Category is quite large. Lovely granite bathroom with all the amenities one could ever wish for round it all off. The rooms have a huge glass windows which fills the room with light, even on the gloomiest of London day’s. If it’s sweeping views of London you’re after, beware though as the hotel is tucked away in a side road so you’re looking at other buildings right opposite the road. The hotel as such as superbly arty, colourful and eclectic. It’s filled with funky art work and is bursting with colour. A nice change to the all beige chain hotels that seem to have taken over the world! My husband had some food off the room service menu (fish ‘n chips) which he wasn’t delighted with sadly. This came as a bit of a surprise as the restaurant comes with great reviews on here. Breakfast more than made up for this though and was plentiful, of outstanding quality and satisfying. It was a tad late (08:00) which is not great if you have an early start. Tea / coffee making facilities in the room would have been great for this purpose One thing we found a little weird is that we only got one key fob. So if one of us was heading out - as was the case with me - I couldn’t get into the room without my husband opening the door for me or someone from reception escorting me up!!! We did ask about this on check in and were told they just don’t like handing out two keys 🥴🥴🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 Other than that, a delightful stay in one of coolest places we’ve been in London for a while
First things first (if you don't know London). Soho is a very busy place especially at the weekend but, somehow, all the noise from the streets never made it to the hotel. Its location in Soho is excellent (if, again, that's where you want to stay). The hotel itself is gorgeous. I would highly recommend the room we had, which was the deluxe room with the terrace. The staff were perfect and extremely polite. They recommended a Chinese restaurant (Duck and Rice) and it was fantastic. We had one minor problem but that was fixed immediately. If you're looking for a hotel directly in the heart in Soho then you can't go wrong with this one. This is an excellent property. I would stay there again and also recommend it to friends.
This might be our favorite hotel ever. Not for everyone, but perfect for us! This hotel is funky and in a funky neighborhood centrally located, but very wild at night. Lots of drinking in the streets, but no one bothers you. The hotel is set back so you hear nothing. The rooms are huge and have everything you would need. It was hot over Easter, and the AC was strong enough for an American! The staff in the hotel is exceptional. The bar staff is great, and they have staff to help in all the other sitting rooms. The bar is buzzing during the weekend which is fun to me. The restaurant in the hotel is delicious. We loved every breakfast--fresh food and french press. An accidental dinner at the hotel turned out to be one of our favorite meals in London. And I planned out fancy meals. If you stay there, eat there for dinner one night. You will not be disappointed. if you want to explore beyond the hotel, some of the best restaurants in London are at your door. As is great shopping. All of the staff was exceptionally friendly. Great experience.
I was at a meeting here and I was early, so I ordered a glass of red wine, The wine was nice and had what i thought was complimentary bowl of nuts, it turns out my glass of wine was £15.17 good job I didn't have two.
One of my favorite hotels I've stayed in. The location is great, lot's of things to do in the area and easy access to transportation. The service is incredible. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the rooms are very cozy and homely.
Stayed in so many hotels over the years but have to say this is one of the finest hotels to date - on par with the best four seasons hotels in terms of rooms, restaurant and bar. Right in the heart of London and truly a home from home. Staff are awesome, great you like royalty and go out of their way to make your stay amazing.
Met friends here for a catch up. Make sure you walk Dean street & look down every turn off. Once in lobby you are greeted by a massive black cat. This is just the start to this fabulously decorated hotel. A fabulous place to catch up with friends. Very quirky, clean with fabulously friendly & attentive staff. Loved all the very different art work & statues. The afternoon tea was lovely, they catered for vegetarians with ease. Lovely hot chocolate. Only one little disappointment was that you had to pay extra for top ups of tea & hot chocolate. English breakfast, Earl grey or hot chocolate were included in price (1 serving) green teas / white teas were extra. All in all a lovely place to relax - table next to us we’re on cocktails & they looked fab.
This is a hidden gem of a place to eat in Soho, a relaxed restaurant with a pleasant ambience and friendly service. A varied menu, something for everyone, octopus starter recommended and the variations of caesar salad for mains. A very pleasant meal, reservation recommended, but you can often get a table here, as it's not on the beaten track or main street.
