Great hotel for the price, clean and wonderful staff. My only complaint is the size of the room which I thought it was extremely small.
Really good hotel, room is very nice and with modern amenities and very comfortable. Location is not that great, walking distance from Underground, but far from city center.
+ Got to stay in a beautifully renovated room, nice king bed and rain shower. + Great location + Incredible value for London - construction going on all day - water leak in building meant moving rooms at 10:00p.m. - some of the staff were rude incompetents
This is certainly not a hotel, but rather a hostel. Me and two other girl friends were supposed to have a 4-person room but were switched upon arrival to a 6-person room with two strange men. We felt very unsafe and cheated out of what we paid for. The breakfast was terrible and we had to share a bathroom with the entire floor. The bathrooms were outdated, very small, and the showers had zero water pressure. I do not recommend this place.
The hotel is not a hotel, it's a HOSTEL. No air-condition, Small rooms, Dirty sheets, Dirty rooms, Internet does not work half the time, Staff are ignorant and selfish, The hole place gust is a hole in the wall place.
no tv, cleran sheets, no bathroom, no phone bunk beds breakfast was dreadful.
This hotel sucks! The rooms are smaller than most American bathrooms. The people are rude and unhelpful. The rooms are dirty. We booked a single room with private facilities and they gave us bunk beds and a shared bathroom. The shower was disgusting and didn't work after 3 minutes. The bunk beds were metal so if you farted the whole bed creaked. The front desk personnel did not want to help at all. There was 1 nice guy, but the other 3 were awful. When I ask if I could get a cab, the guy told me to walk down the street and take a left at the tube station instead of calling someone. Location is on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood. Probably 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the tube station, which was great. Overall about 5-10 miles from the center of the city. The main lobby is pretty nice b/c it has wifi and a bar. You can get much better for the price. The London tube connects you everywhere, so proximity to Heathrow or the center of the city doesn't really matter (the location was in between Heathrow and city center was why I booked this hotel).
A very good deal for a budget hotel in London but no air conditioning and our room was up five flights of stairs, there is not an elevator/lift. Rooms are very small and we did have private bath facilities but most rooms did not. Not far from an "Underground Station" and close to a few restaurants. This part of Kensington is a little "iffy" for my taste. The staff was very helpful in making arrangements for sight seeing and taxi. Overall a good experience but would not go back due to location.
