Good location, room was clean, looked smart and had good air conditioning. staff on reception very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, maybe not the best quality food but was included in the price and was all you can eat so can’t complain about that.
The location of the hotel is very good. It’s just a 5-7 minute walk from the Hammersmith underground station, on the Piccadilly line with great connectivity to central London. The street leading to the hotel has a number of eating places with different cuisine which you can eat for a 3-5 day stay. We took a double room with a sofa bed, which was just enough in size for 3 persons, especially when the sofa bed was laid out. The beds were pretty comfortable and we had no complaints. Other than the slightly smaller room (which you should expect in London) the other room amenities were pretty good and we did not have any major issues. The breakfast is decent containing the standard stuff – sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, different types of bread and fruit, croissants, pastries, cereals and juices. Even though the same breakfast was served during our entire stay for 5 nights it was easy to mix and match and we did not get the feeling of boredom with the menu Excellent service with very courteous staff. They had the room ready and prepared even though we were checking in early. During breakfast one morning they even prepared vegetarian corn sausages for my wife, even though we had not asked for it the previous evening. Any query was answered and acted upon very promptly.
It’s one of the best budget hotels i have come across so far. The staff are very nice and friendly they helped me in keeping my luggage while I travelled to Manchester for 2 days. The food is not that good but overall everything was wonderful budget wise.
Had to stay here as an emergency as the Best Western Seraphine had cancelled my room booking which I found out at check in. They were able to accept my booking immediately on a busy Friday night, the day before the Royal Wedding which ensured we weren't sleeping out under the stars. Clean, friendly staff, quiet hotel in great location for the Apollo Theatre, which is what we were there for to see a show. Hot breakfast included in the price which was decent and set us up for the day. If you are staying in Hammersmith and going to the Apollo and looking for a short stay, you cant do much worse than yhe holiday inn.
Convenient location (for the Apollo and a spot of retail therapy the next day), well mannered and attentive staff. Room was a good size although we were allocated a twin room instead of a double. Comfy beds, tea, coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, free wifi, microwave cooking facilities in reception with a small selection of snacks at reasonable prices and free English and Continental breakfast. Our room which was 345 had a clever door in the bathroom that either closed off the whole bathroom or just the toilet, allowing someone else to use the shower...genius! Although the temperature button in the shower was faulty so it was a luke warm shower instead of a nice hot one in the morning but hey ho...hopefully its fixed now.
Spent two nights here....great place to stay for Hammersmith. A few minutes walk from the tube, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were friendly/professional and the rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and reasonable quality - tea and coffee was also available in the rooms. A no frills hotel, but certainly a step up from others.
We stayed here last year and enjoyed the hotel and the location so much, when we found ourselves back in London for a concert we wanted to come back here. Once again the staff are excellent, very friendly and polite, beds so comfortable and location superb. My go to hotel!
Lovely hotel clean and comfortable, Very friendly staff , Great breakfast set you up for the day , as much as you want Would stop again if i'm in the area was just right for our trip to Twickenham for the rugby
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. I had requested for a quiet room and that was what we got. Our room was at the fourth floor and it was really quiet. The room was clean and big enough. The weather was cold but the heater in the room worked well. The price included breakfast and it was quite simple, but just enough to get the morning started. The location was excellent: close to shops, pubs and underground with The Piccadilly line. The area was nice and away from the busy center. The staff in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We had to leave 05:15 in the morning and still they arrange breakfast for us. Would definitely book again!
Rooms are new. Hotel is set away from the main street and is quiet. Tube, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Staff were great. The girls taking care of us at the seminar were especially helpful. Nice being in London in a more relaxed location.
