Not being a big fan of Holiday Inn we been really positive surprised here. The Hotel is in a quiet side street, not far away from Hammersmith Station. The Rooms are clean, recently renovated and quiet. The Staff is friendly and helpful. Really worth the Price. Only little Problem was that the window side was a bit cold because of the snow and the wind. We got a extra heating so no problem.
It is an Holiday Inn Express as you would expect, with good quality accommodation at decent prices. The Hotel has a small car park on a first comes first basis and if not available there are plenty of other places to leave your car nearby. The room is small but perfectly formed and it was really quiet considering the central location. Hammersmith is not pretty but it certainly offers shops, bars and restaurants and an easy commute to central London. The only disappointment was breakfast - the scramble eggs were really dry and there was no-one around so I had to find my way to table and buffet. Not a big problem but certainly this is an area for improvement. I recommend the German bakery opposite Hotel (2mins walk) - lovely bread and sandwiches.
Stayed in this hotel twice now. Great location as the tube is located at the end of the street which is fantastic for getting into central London. We stayed in Hammersmith as we were seeing a concert 5 mins away from this hotel at the Apollo. Walked there and back which was fantastic. The room was clean and the decor was up to date. Everything you need for a budget hotel!
Lovely hotel - great service from reception on arrival Given room key - room lovely - large double with sofa! Very comfortable bedroom - excellent shower, clean and tidy! Free WiFi! Free breakfast - which was also really lovely!
Went for a four night stay for music concerts nearby. Staff excellent, very friendly and professional. Room comfortable and bedding extremely comfortable. Location next to a Witherspoon’s and some fab restaurants. Try Poppy’s nearby. Great area for getting around London as tube handy for everywhere. Loved location and hotel, had everything going for it. Definitely recommend 😊
Second visit to the property during the busy World Travel Market Week. Easy to get to from the LHR via the tube station at Hammersmith from the hotel is an easy walk. Check-in was quick and painless. The rooms are spacious enough and the bathroom reasonable. The breakfast spread is fairly decent. The staff are extremely helpful. The heating in my room was broken and a replacement room heater was promptly organized and the broken unit replaced the following day. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel and getting around via the tube is a breeze.
I have to thank the friendly staff here for their patience and superb service in finding us a room to suit. My partner is disabled and cannot walk long distances and they went out of their way to compromise between distance from the lift and the facilities we wanted. Service beyond the call of duty. Other things that impressed: Power and USB sockets both sides of the bed - why can't more hotels do this? Room heating is excellent and works well. The wifi was fast and did not require login in. So easy. The room itself was clean and the bed very comfortable. On the down side the rooms are small compared to the competition just down the road with limited hanging and storage space. If I was on business I would find the lack of work surface a problem - just one small table to work on, barely big enough for a laptop and mouse. Breakfast was good but not the selection that you get in the nearby alternative. Parking is limited when the hotel is busy and was full when we arrived. However, I managed to find a space by the time I had unloaded the luggage. Disabled parking was not being properly controlled with two cars in the blue badge spaces that should not have been there. Not a problem with an able bodied driver but would be an issue for a disabled person on their own - something for HIE to take up with the car park management company. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Excellent.
Stayed here for my 30th birthday which my husband mentioned when he booked and was greeted by very friendly staff and 2 mini bottles of prosecco in our room with a birthday message, lovely touch after a very long drive! Complimentary buffet style breakfast with the option to take away and very comfortable rooms. Will definitely be back.
Stayed here on business in November for the first time, so easy to find from Hammersmith tube station - all lines - plenty of high street stores and restaurants all around it and shops generally open till 830pm even on a monday. Its also two tube stops on hammersmith & city / circle line to Westfield shopping centre. The hotel is above a weatherspoons pub but no noise Walk into the rooms and it looks like a new style HI express, but go into the bathroom and its actually an old style with the door doubling up between loo and overall bathroom but its had such an amount of work done to it so even that style of loo is a massive improvement to the typical style. Loved the bed, so comfortable I had to check the name - gainsborough contract as im looking for a new mattress. Sofa bed with a desk in front of it was a good idea and pretty comfortable too Id certainly return back here
Absolutely wonderful hotel, stayed for 4 nights and were met with great friendly welcome from reception staff. Nice quiet, recently refurbished bedroom with comfortable bed and a duvet that I wanted to take home! Usual free HIE buffet breakfast. What's not to like. Highly recommended
