Weekend stay great location to get into central London via the tube plus out to Twickenham via Richmond to see the Rugby. Rooms very clean and tidy, all the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was just right and included in the price and not another extra £25 plus on the bill. Parking £15 per night.
I think they are all the same as I have stayed in many of these hotels, one tip I would mention is to become an IHG member as the receptionist told us we could not collect the points as we booked through Booking.Com, if we had gone through IHG it would also be cheaper. Apart from that it was trouble free.
“I thought the hotel would be along the lines of a budget hotel as the rate was very good and i was looking for a basic hotel to stay in when going to the Apollo which is about 500 yrds away. Very surprised to find the hotel was way above a basic or even standard. Lovely welcome from helpful staff.. Excellent well appointed room . Really good nights sleep followed by really good breakfast nice. . We will stay again.. By the way Eric the Barman awesome helpful guy.”
Stayed here for 2 nights. Great location in Hammersmith - 5 mins from tube station and river. Same comfortable rooms as always in HIE - not luxurious by very functional and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and would certainly stay here again.
Excellent value for money. Good location. 6 mins walk to the tube and another 10 mins ride in to the centre. Really friendly staff who allowed us to check in early and leave our car for extended period. Car parking only £15 for 30 hours. Will use again for sure. Thanks
Good clean hotel with pleasant staff. The car park can fill quickly as small and they are ruthless in issuing tickets for parking etc... There is street parking on King's Road but a very busy street.... Prices for the hotel can vary alot and sadly they still use a 0870 number to ring... Which is daft
The hotel was well maintained and clean but I was awoken at 2am, 3am and 4am by people talking outside the hotel which sounded like staff outside on a break. They need to be aware of how the noise carries upwards and can really disturb a night’s sleep. Also I imagine they comment and may blame the Wetherspoons but people do not leave Wetherspoon on the hour every hour throughout the night and have normal sounding conversations. Breakfast was nice.
We stayed for one night in Room 243, which has 2 double beds, the room was on the street side of the hotel and above the pub . Despite this it was very quiet, we couldn't hear any road noise nor any sounds from downstairs. The room was very clean, nice fresh clean towels were provided along with tea and coffee making facilities. There is an iron and ironing board along with a hair dryer stored outside the bathroom should you need it. Wifi is open and a good, strong signal. The shower is powerful, clean and soap / shampoo provided. The beds are large, comfortable and come with 2 pillows per person, one firm the other is soft, the room is also very well lit with controls next to the bed and plenty of plug sockets in the room. My one small issue is that the heating in the room did not seem to work. The heater on the wall would not turn on and the room heating / air con didn't blow any hot or warm air out, even when the thermostat was turned to maximum, but his wasn't too much of a problem as we only stayed for one night and the quilts on the bed are nice and warm anyway. Location wise the hotel is within a 5 minute walk to Hammersmith tube station so it is well situated for a weekend or weekday stay, there are plenty of take away places nearby for fast food, several pubs and a nice little food street market half way down towards the tube station. Breakfast is usual fare of scrambled eggs, sausages bacon and cereal, plenty to go around and nicely cooked. Plenty of seating available and spotlessly clean. Reception staff are very helpful and professional, sadly I have forgotten the guys name (very sorry about that) but he handed our daughter an activity pack and gave us the bigger upgraded room upon booking in, as opposed to one with a sofa bed which I had originally booked. He was very helpful, kind and professional and a pleasure to deal with, as were all the staff at the hotel. In summary, a well priced (we used laterooms and paid £85 for the night for 3 people) well managed and clean hotel with very kind and professional staff. It is well located and ideal for a London break.
Chosen for its proximity to Hammersmith Odeon where we were attending a rock concert this was no different to the one i recently stayed in at Newcastle. Same buffet breakfast, same everything. All average but perfectly acceptable. Rooms are small but clean and beds are comfortable. A perfect stopover in London without giving your wallet a heart attack. Accessed on King St from Ravenscourt Park or Hammersmith Broadway tube stations depending on your point of origin.
A good place for a quick stay, right in the heart of Hammersmith, so there was lots to see and do. Train station and buses were easily accessible. Breakfast was good and the response to any requests was quite timely.
