Hotel location is excellent. Close to Kensington Park & Portobello street. Undergrand Circle line very close to the hotel thus allowing easy travel to different locations/attractions of London with limited need to change undergraound trains. Personnel very young, professional and nice. Multilanguages. Maps and umbrella availability upon request. Breakfast almost OK. Only negative is that rooms and breakfast location are very small, actually I would say too small. I would recommend the location for short period 2-3 days max. Price/value in line with London..(that means almost OK)
London can be so expensive, and this place looked ok and affordable, which it is. It's fine, but not great. The room was quite small, like all of our luggage could not fit small. So we had to unpack what we needed and left the rest in the luggage room in the basement. Two of the three beds were comfortable, but on was terrible. Breakfast is good but if you arrive at 7 when the open they often aren't ready, and if you arrive too late it is too crowded and you cannot get a seat. The rooms could also use a deep cleaning, especially the bathroom. But again you get what you pay for. The neighborhood was quiet, not much street noise. Just a few blocks away were tons of pubs, Asian and middle eastern restaurants, as well as chain fast food, and even a tiki bar. It was convenient to a tube stop as well as access to the hop on hop off buses and taxis.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Reem Hotel last night and we're so pleased with our stay. This was a last minute booking and we were worried that because it was so cheap we'd be in for a rough night, but I couldn't recommend it more and was so pleasantly surprised. Also, the area is gorgeous and we felt so secure walking home late at night. The receptionist we dealt with was absolutely lovely - my boyfriend even said it was the best customer service he's ever received!! He was so welcoming from start to finish and ever so chatty...he even invited us for a drink, which we thought was thoughtful. The room was small and the hotel was basic, but that's not a bad thing! If what you're looking for is a bed and shower close to the city centre, which you don't have to pay a small fortune for, it's perfect. Give Reem Hotel a chance and you won't regret it 😊
Excellent location, beautiful area. Close to tube. Hotel was brilliant. Breakfast was adequate. Stayed in family room. Couldn't ask for anything better. Price was good for location. Would highly recommend
The room was impeccably clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable and while the room is relatively small like most in London it is very well designed and furnished. The bathroom is clean and well lit and the shower has amazing water pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was yum (although could use a little more variety) but the serving staff (thank you Wioletta!!!) were very helpful and prompt in their service. The reception staff are incredibly friendly and helpful as well. Overall, one of the best experiences I had in a London hotel and definitely the one that offered best value for money!
We stayed here as we wanted a slightly cheaper hotel so that we could stay 2 nights rather than one. I guess you get what you pay for so I shouldn't complain! It wasn't a bad stay, but it wasn't the height of luxury. The decoration was dated and there was a patch on our ceiling! The breakfast was a bit flat...but a comfy bed and a good price.
A lovely hotel. 5 minute walk from Bayswater tube and 10 minutes from Queensway tube. We booked a double but was given a triple room. Although it was quite small, it was perfect for an overnight stay. Bed and pillows very comfy and the bathroom well equipped. Very clean as well. Breakfast was good and well catered. Staff were very friendly including Soner. We will definitely recommend to friends and consider staying here again.
Nice quiet area in bayswater. Rooms are quite small but ok for couple of nights. Clean towels daily. Modern bathroom. Basic Breakfast ok for price we paid. Short walk to tube stations. Nice eating places around bayswater. 15min walk into notting hill. Staff seem pleasant.
Where do I start. Checked in and the key card wouldn't work, maintenance came out but couldn't fix it so when I left the room I had to ask staff to let me back in. The first night was so noisy as the room fronted on to the street. Cars, Scooters, and a Bin Lorry at 12.10am on top of people stood outside other hotels/houses, smoking and shouting. I brought this up in the morning and really wanted to leave as I hadn't slept. I was told the manager would be in at around 10 to discuss this but the staff couldn't do anything other than apologise. I wasn't waiting around for the manager as I had a full day planned. On my return I found my stuff had been moved and I had been put in a double room, fair enough I thought. The bloke in the next room or above kept me up all night with his snoring and then at 6 in the morning I thought they were going to come through the ceiling with his partner (bit of how's your father). Also floor boards out side the room were very noisy when people walked past. So that was the second night of no sleep. Both rooms had hair in the sink when you moved the plug, the extractor fans in both rooms were also caked in dust and looked like they needed a good jet washing. The only positive and it is a small one was the breakfast was nice and the staff are friendly. If you thinking of booking don't. Spend a little bit more money and go elsewhere.
Stayed one night in a triple room on second floor. Clean room and bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location as near shops, restaurants and tube. Breakfast was good although a little cramped in the dining room. Down side is the age of the building as floors are very noisy. The room above us had someone who was up every few minutes until 1am and the creaky floor kept us up. Get a room on top floor else find another hotel. Another point someone picked up on was glass bathroom sliding door which is not good for privacy.
