Liked the hotel. Breakfast was great! Lots of choices. Had eggs, fruits, sausage, mushrooms, potatoes, croissants, toast, cereal, juices... The staff was well mannered and great! The room was good but the carpet was dirty. I guess they hadn't vacuumed. Bathroom was cleaned but the tub was to high to get in. Overall, I truly recommend it!

The Hotel has just one thing good the location the rooms are super small and old and also the breakfast is very bad would come back for the location if the price is right

I had a very pleasant week long stay. The room was clean; The staff was friendly and efficient the price was good and I experienced no issues.

The hotel is in about the best possible location in London, but also on a nice quiet road with quiet rooms. Amazing combination of calm in the middle of one of the world's most lively, vibrant cities. My only complaint was that the room was very small. But for this location, easy to overlook. Nice staff, lovely lobby area. Just a great place.

Do NOT be fooled by the website’s professional photos. What appears to be a small, quaint hotel with a cozy atmosphere is anything but. Located in the beautiful area of Mayfair, I wish I could say that this hotel held up to the par of the others located nearby. The saying “cheap is cheap” must apply here because the owner of this hotel has refused to put any money back into their establishment. I checked in with my family a few weeks ago with the hope of having a nice stay for a trip to London for New Year’s Eve but we checked out the same night we arrived. For starters, the lobby is covered with dust, stained chairs, and peeling wallpaper. The lift is old and can barely fit two people with their luggage! The rooms are disgustingly filthy and dilapidated! Upon first entering the room, we tried to leave; however, the door was broken and we could not get out! We tried calling the front desk for help but the phone in our room did not work either! With broken doors, nonworking telephones, peeling wallpaper, rusted bathrooms, holes and iron burns in the carpet, beds that probably had insects crawling beneath the mattresses, the bedding looked like it was from the 1950’s with its wire springs protruding from the mattress…we just couldn’t stay there in those terrible conditions.

Good location in Mayfair. The staff was friendly and willing to help, however the furniture was quite dated. I guess that is what you get for the price, given the excellent location.

This trip was a grad gift for my daughter, her first time out of the US. The hotel was exactly as expected, great location..walked to most things or one underground stop to others, we didn't get the included breakfast which could only be gotten at the lower rate at checkin for which days you wanted and we didn't know when we would want it or not (maybe should have for last morning only) but we found many good places very close to hotel which was more fun, the room was sufficient....clean, comfortable, bit of steet notice but not terrible but could use some updating and still keep the charm without going modern, and staff was fine for the little interaction we had with them. All n all, would stay again. Loved the area restaurants (did lunches, dinner and breakfasts) and newsstand type shops...good for water, snacks, etc.

Staff are excellent and service was both very friendly and professional.

This was a dream location, two blocks from Hyde Park and Green Park and the same distance from Bus Lines and Underground. The Mayfair area is quite nice and there is a choice of Pub Fare and fine dining. Very safe, very comfortable and the "included breakfast" was delicious. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. We will request this hotel again on our next visit.

great location, near to restaurants and Green Park

You can't beat this location, you can walk to Picadilly, Oxford Street, even the theatre district. In room WI-fi is a little inconsistent, but always works in the lobby. Rooms are modest, a little tired, but clean.

This hotel is in a perfect location-a quiet corner in the midst of busy Mayfair. A little pricy for the usual shabby British rooms and corridors. Very comfortable public spaces and helpful staff.

I had a few crazy 3 nights while staying there. A small flood in the bathroom from the shower, a heater that wouldn’t go off in another room, a broken light in the third room, but I think it was my luck that did it. They were the kindest group of people that I have ever met in a hotel. Attentive and genuine. So no matter how crazy it was, because of them I left happy and with a great story to tell. I am looking forward to staying there again. - p.s. The hotel is beautiful, clean, warm and cozy and most importantly..... very British

The hotel is in a great spot, close to tourist sights, the tube and good choices for food. The room was very small, we could not get to the bathroom at night with even a small bag open, so packing up most nights was part of our London routine. Worse, the room was in bad shape. At this price point in a city like London we did not expect luxury, but the place is behond worn out and the carpet and furniture were stained. The room smelled strongly of stale smoke, this is in a supposedly non smoking room in a city wich has had a smoking ban for some time.

SHORT WALK TO BUCKINGHAM PALACE AND RESTURANTS, ROOM OLD ,BUT NICE MAYFAIR SUITE PRIVATE ENTRANCE DOSN'T OPEN . THE BRAKEFAST WAS GOOD(, NOT INCLUDED) .

The location of this hotel is very good, being a few streets behind the Hilton London Hotel, close to numerous bus and underground connections. It was very quaint appearing outside, but in much need of upgrades and repairs,i.e. carpets, paint, newer hairdryers, and replacing light-bulbs. The staff at check in were very hospitable, I was upgraded to a double when my room was not available. But breakfast at £15 was steep. They did have a good Indian tikka buffet for dinner.

Upon arrival the hotel did not have me in their computer (fortunately, I had my [...]receipt.) They did find a room after much hunting. The hotel was a disappointment overall as the website had listed this as a four-star accommodation. It was not near that. The hotel is old and in need of renovation. The room was tiny, had not been vacuumed in ages and the bathroom (again tiny) had a malfunctioning shower handle. The window only had single-paned glass which meant we heard lots of street noise during the night. For a five day, four night trip, I had to return to the reception desk more than four times to have my room key re-activated. It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge in the room to hold water and juice, but this was not an option. I travel all over Europe and this was by far the most unpleasant experience. If Park Lane Mews wants to book tourists who are looking for a place to stay during the 2012 Olympics, they need to start now with renovations or admit their actual star rating. On the upside, the staff were helpful and friendly (and seemed somewhat embarrassed by the room key issue.)

All as expected from an old London location... old elevators, old carpet, old decor, but the rooms were nice, if not a little small.

I will never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

The AC went out and the rooms were very hot!!!! The hotel staff kept on saying they would change my room but it took thema very long time and much persistance on my part for them to move me. I ended up loosing over a half day waiting for them to relocate me to a cooler room. They did give me one free breakfast to compensate.
