Rooms minuscule but comfortable and clean. Every member of staff was helpful and nice. Great find. Would stay again.
We booked a Deluxe room for 5 days and from the photos on Orbitz it looks like we were put in a Standard Room (two classes below Deluxe).
We booked the hotel along with a flight. The room was disappointingly small. It was clean, quiet, but small. The hotel staff was helpful and good.
Great for business travel, close to mass transit, good breakfast in the morning, easy check-out. For a business traveler, this was an ideal hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located for easy access to city center within walking distance.
Hotel is ideally situated for museums and West End. Room is modern and comfortable BUT inadequate light in the darkly appointed bathroom. The lobby decor aims for hip: has a huge red seated deer on the only seating. Breakfast not included in our rate and was discouragingly expensive. Fortunately alternatives right outside.
Beautiful hotel. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast. Big acceciible room. Good location.
Loved the hotel and a good deal for location and 4 star quality. The room wasn't huge but well decorated and perfect for our 5 night stay. Would stay at any Radisson Blu again.
Staff was very courteous and friendly. Room was comfortable. No view, and a bit dark. Good value. Great location for theatres and British Museum.
Service was efficient and the room was small but clean. Nicely situated.
This hotel was perfect! My room was very nice, the staff was extremely courteous and the location couldn't have been any better! The hotel is within walking distance to museums, good food, great shopping and several tourist attractions. I was always greeted by the staff by my name...I don't even know how they all knew my name without prior introduction, but it was a nice touch! Oh...and the room service was fantastic - the food was delicious! I'd highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay again!
We had the unfortunate experience of traveling during the Great European Snow of 2010. Flight was diverted to Ireland. Although I phoned the hotel each night, I was told that my reservation was cancelled because I didn't appear for the first 2 nights - but was charged for the room anyway. [...]intervened and got a refund for us. When we arrived in London, we stayed at another hotel around the corner from the Radisson and treated well. As an aside, others on our diverted flight had their London reservations in other hotels honored.
London hotels are generally small and expensive. This is a great find - recently re-modelled, a little boutique-like, and well put together. Great location for the west end and for the British Museum.
The Radisson Edwardian Marlborough Hotel is really the Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury (post- renovation). It is one block from the British Museum which was very convenient. In addition, it was several blocks to the Tottenham Court Road Tube station. If we were not taking the Tube, it is in walking distance to Oxford Street (shopping), Shaftsbury Street (theaters), Soho (shopping & LGBT friendly bars/restaurants), Covent Garden (restaurants & shopping), and was a pick-up stop for our Golden Tours.
The hotel is supurb. The service was top quality, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was ideal. All in all a great experience we will have again the next time we go to London.
Great location! Near theaters, underground and restaurants. Shaftsbury Theater (Hairspray) just down the street. We had to upgrade our room because it wasn't what we thought we had booked. The woman at the front desk was a little abrupt. Our upgraded room (queen bed) was big enough but had no chair except a plastic desk chair. The breakfast food and service were terrific! The concierge went out of his way to be helpful! The hotel is very modern and is a bit antiseptic but the location is great.
room was clean and recently renovated, but view to the back was uninviting. my room was double booked as another guest arrived after I had checked in, so the front desk appears a bit disorganized.
