I didn't like how I had to walk down the stairs just to get to the elevator. My shower head was leaking out the side, and the toilet seat was broken
I spent one night at the hotel while moving around the UK. The property and rooms are very clean but the twin room is very small. It is conveniently located across the street from Kings cross station. The nightly rate is quite high but it’s London.
Location is great. Rooms are noisy. Staff is helpful
Simply not worth what we paid for it. The hallways smelled of detergent and the neighborhood was very noisy at 3am. Spartan at best.
Picked it because of location to train station. Hallways very dirty and room was just ok.
Great location. Clean, spacious family room. Excellent for the price
...clean, safe with very friendly staff. Much better than I expected for price
I have never stayed in a hotel room so small in all of my life.
Placed in below ground room. I was kept awake by sounds of draining sewer pipes and underground trains. Room was not what I reserved and bed was terrible.
Kings Cross Inn is well located for the Eurostar and the tube. However, the elevator was not working during our entire stay. And despite the lack of elevator, we (a senior couple), were given a room on the top floor. So, we had four flights of narrow, steep stairs to get to and from our room. Top floor rooms are basically garret rooms with slanted walls and very small windows. The room we had was the smallest in the hotel, very cramped and dark. It seemed designed for one person, not two. One side of the bed was against the wall, with no light, no table, no space to walk! The other side of the bed was so close to the wall that the bathroom door could only open part way. The room was well equipped, with tea kettle, safe, fridge, etc. And staff were helpful, including arranging the repair of a broken window lock. However, given the lack of an elevator, the fact that we were given a small garret room requiring 4 flights of stairs, without any apology or compensation is quite incredible. The amount we paid for this room through Orbitz was considerably more than any other room we had during a two week stay in Europe and it was definitely not worth it and definitely not what we paid for. We would never return nor recommend Kings Inn. There are lots of other hotels in the neighborhood.
Rooms I got was too small, on 4th floor. Hotel is well located for Metro & train connections. Very goos breskfast, included in price
