A lot of dislike for the property condition, we have been stayed 2 rooms in this trip, the first night our rm on LG floor with sticky, very bad smell coming from the bathroom and surrounding trains noises. Rm changed to the 3rd next day, the room without tv because no signal connection, poor air conditioning not cooling at all, even adjusted to high cool 19 degrees Celsius, both bathroom door handle were crumbling, we worried about will be locked in the bathroom every time if it’s broken down, hanging knot behind the bathroom door is damaged so you can imagine no place to put clothes and observed cockroaches in the drawer when we are preparing for the check out. The only thing like that place is opposite of the Kings Cross station for crossing the street, but no umbrella available for providing hotel guests to use in rainy weather, definitely ONE 1 star hotel on my list.

The location made the third star! It saw exceptionally close to Kings Cross Station and more importantly, St Pancras Station. London Euston was the next station in a row! There were some terrific eats and dining restaurants (Chinese & Italian, directly below) available including the Lucas Pub with an outdoor quiet Garden Centre, just up the road. The bedroom was VERY small (pokey) for the three of us. The aircon saved us, mixed with fresh air! The noise of fighting crowd rallying, religious criers, and working machinery, wafted up into the room.around the clock!

Heavy glass shower door kept coming off-scary. Floor was sticky and yucky the first day, they never cleaned until after several complaints. Had to request change of bedding on day 7 and they actually cleaned ( not just throw out trash). Poor service from cleaning crew, no replacement of body wash or soap since first day, had to keep asking for coffe/sugar. Receptionists very understanding and tried to help. AC was a waste, still hot at night. Rooms sooooo tiny for 3 people. I won’t recommend nor will I stay there again!

Unsanitary and Unacceptable – Should Not Be Listed on Expedia This was by far the most disturbing and unsanitary hotel stay I’ve ever encountered — and I travel frequently. From the moment we walked in, the room was in an appalling state: chewed gum stuck to both the floor and the ceiling, bed bugs, food smeared on the walls and door frame, blood stains on the window sill, and visible mold throughout the space — including in the shower, garbage cans, and around the room. My young child unfortunately touched the gum on the floor within seconds of entering — a serious health and safety concern. When we raised these issues with the property manager, we were met with deflection and zero accountability. He blamed outsourced cleaning staff and took no responsibility for the conditions. Worse, he refused to issue a refund for our cancellation and showed a complete disregard for even the most basic standards of customer service and human decency. Expedia should seriously reconsider listing this property. It's not just dirty — it’s dangerously unclean, mismanaged, and clearly not fit to host guests. DO NOT BOOK HERE. This hotel is a disgrace on every level — from cleanliness to service to management.

Smells of urine and mold. Brown stains on the walls. The staff barely speaks English and they lowkey also smelled bad. Trash bags litter the halls. Should be shut for health safety concerns. Carpets were wet, I think with urine based on the smell. Refused to give a refund. I booked another hotel and ate the cost. It was so bad, it was worth eating the cost. Room was in a basement. The halls are a maze and no elevator. Fire hazard, you might die here

Dirty rooms. Dirty staff. Rude and don’t speak English. Absolutely disgusting. Smells throughout the whole property. Mold, mildew, brown stains on the walls. Wet carpets smelling of urine. Staff had a stench to them as well and were rude. Should be deported.

This hotel is tucked away by kings cross and st pancras train station and just steps away from both. The room was small but the bathroom was clean and large and modern. I had everything we needed and the location made it perfect for our trip on the euro star with an early rise and late night. The stations both have lots of food and restaurants so we could walk. The front desk was helpful and very friendly. This hotel was perfect for our needs for our two night stay.

Horrible with no hot shower!

No hot water for shower in the hotel. Reported to the hotel staff and was given a key to another room for shower, no hot water in that room either. Told them about it and their reply was “ yeah unfortunately this is an old building, this happens.”

This hotel is a quaint European style hotel. We wanted to be near Kings Cross Station for the Harry Potter Platform 9 3/4. We were able to get there in the early am so there was no line. The hotel was clean, water was hot and convenient to the Tube! AC could have worked a little better. Would normally not be a problem. However, it was really warm outside the 2 days we were in London.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the King’s Cross station. The room was clean but the property in general is worn. The lobby carpets are threadbare and the laminate floor in the room was worn through. The bathroom had been undated and was very nice, funnily enough. The room had AC which was great given the heat wave in London at the time.

Friendly staff, easy check in, fine for overnight

Check in was seamless. The room was clean albeit small but it was ok for just an overnight before Eurostar early start. Bed could have been a bit more comfy but as I say, ok for a single night. Staff very friendly and would recommend for similar stay.
