stayed here for one night and it was ok. The room was smaller than I had expected with not a lot of space to move around, it looked dated and was quite dark. The bed was clean and comfortable. We were a little bit to far away from the function we were attending and the hotel couldn’t book us a taxi for the time we wanted. We had to walk to the main road in our evening dress to get a taxi.....not an easy feat but got one in the end. We didn’t have breakfast or use any other facilities so cannot comment on these. Overall it was average and I wouldn’t stay for a weekend away.
Really helpful staff. Good location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good value and very reasonably priced breakfast. The shower cubicle was a little cosy but would recommend The London Lodge Hotel and would stay again
This hotel is within walking distance (with luggage) of Earl's Court Tube Station (handicap accessible) The Piccadilly line is very helpful going to Heathrow. The room was well equipped with a mini bar/fridge and coffee/tea service. They offer breakfast and dinner if needed. Facilities very clean and well maintained. Staff was extremely helpful. Would stay there again.
Friendliness to the time we arrived until we left. We were personally shown to our triple family room which was clean, big and a lovely bathroom with toiletries. It was lovely and warm too. We were offered free tea and coffee facilities too. When leaving we could leave our bags all day and even offered the bathroom on returning. The breakfast was plentiful and a cooked breakfast could be bought for a little extra. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in a great location, just 5 minutes from Earls Court with all the shops and pubs and then the hotel in a quiet side street. We found a great pub - The Hansom Cab, for a very nice lunch. Will definitely use this hotel again and will recommend to friends.
This hotel was wonderful...just the atmosphere we wanted. A taste of old London, not a familiar American hotel. And it was close an underground which, being 75 and 70, was very important to us. We could walk to nice restaurants and even Kensington Palace. The staff was incredible. After our first walk, we returned to find a dozen large gorgeous red roses in our room. Delicious chocolate was also delivered. Amazing! They truly cared about our visit. We could have gone anywhere. We are so pleased we chose this awesome place, its great location and caring staff for our 50th anniversary trip.
EVERYTHING about London Lodge Hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly, extremely helpful. My daughter was cold, we asked for a blanket, the reception lady came up with a blanket AND a heater and asked if she could put up the central heating.
The London Lodge Hotel is situated in a quiet street just off Earl’s Court Road with lots of shops and restaurants and in a five-minute-walking-distance to Earl’s Court Road Station and Kensington High Street. We stayed there for three nights and enjoyed a very comfortable visit. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the room (a twin room on the ground floor) was charmingly decorated, clean and quite roomy (no safe, but with minibar) with an also spotless and bright bathroom (window!) with a big bathtub and an excellent shower. On our next visit to London we’ll certainly stay here again.
My friend and I had a great one night stay at this lovely independent hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a quiet street, close to the underground and museums so accessible but peaceful. I can recommend this hotel.
This hotel is cozy, clean, welcoming and well located both for public transport and for walking.(I walked from the center every day). The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The neighborhood is also safe and tranquil. The next time i come to London I will definitely stay in this hotel.
London Lodge Hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff were exceptional in every way. From check in to departure. Always helpful with advice. The location was close to Earls Crt making transport so easy. The cleanliness of the beautifully decorated room was perfect when we arrived & the cleaning staff did a superb job of keeping the room clean. We left an item of clothing in the room at time of departure. They very efficiently posted it onto our destination in France. Which we greatly appreciated. This never appeared to be an inconvenience to them. The kitchen staff were great also & breakfast was most adequate & plentiful. Thank you once again to all.
