The only advice I can give people who are considering taking one of these apartments is "be careful, be very careful". When we booked we asked for and were told we would get a ground floor apartment - this was because one of our number has difficulty with stairs. The apartment we were given was not ground floor and there are no lifts. Also beware of placing too much weight on the pictures on the website - they are misleading and incomplete if you are looking for an overall view of what is on offer. All the apartments are extremely small : cramped might be a better word and the pictures fail miserably in conveying size. Frankly I would say go somewhere else.

The concept works well, the apartment was very clean and the location is great with two subway stations three minutes walk. However a few downsides to be aware of - We had ants in the apartment - reading below it seems we are not the first to “enjoy” it. There is no air condition, so summer time might be uncomfortable. There is a limited luggage room service (and none on place itself) so problematic if you need to store luggage for a few hours, especially on a weekend.

Everything was wonderful here. Located close to Bayswater, Queensway and Paddington and on a beautiful street you can’t fault the location. Check in was set service and very simple with lots of instructions given up front. I had a small apartment with a double bed and it was exceptional value for money. The place has clearly been refurbished recently as the interior was beautiful. It had all the amenities I needed and I can’t wait to go back!

We stayed in a great studio apartment. Checking in was a simple process. The room was a good size, the bathroom was very generously sized and the kitchenette was functional and compact. The location is very close to the High St and two underground stations. We had hired a motor scooter and we were able to park it off street. I highly recommend Inverness Serviced Apartments.

My husband and I recently moved to London for work and stayed here for our temporary housing, which really helped to make us feel like we were settled into the city earlier than we were. The staff is all very responsive and helpful with any questions you may have. The location cannot be beat - within 3 minute walking distance of 2 tube stops (3 different lines), and right next to Hyde Park. It's located on a beautiful quiet street but nearby plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs, etc. There's also a Waitrose & Tesco Express nearby to get your groceries, household items, etc. There's a washer/dryer machine in the building for your use. The rooms are very modern and spacious with a kitchenette, heated floor bathrooms and nice size storage/bedding. They also have smart TVs to hook up to your Netflix. The building is very secure as well, and quiet from what we experienced with other tenants. We definitely recommend this property!

It was our anniversary and I wanted somewhere special that’s exactly what I got. House keeping the Manager (N) were amazing. The room was a delight beautiful &CLEAN and very local - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Stayed here for a long weekend and it ticked all the boxes - good location, nice building and quality modern equipment to cook etc. Communication beforehand was excellent, clear instructions which were very easy to follow.

I booked a concept apartment on Inverness Terrace near Paddington. The room was nice, clean etc. But all was for nought. I was on the ground floor and the windows were single glazed, the racket was awful, my bed may as well have been in the street. In the end, I actually phone a friend and stayed with them on the outskirts of London as I knew I would get no sleep that night. I have no doubt that the management will write a reply to this review starting "We are so sorry to hear that...". Similar to the standard reply I got by email and the derisory "10% off my next booking" offer, when I in fact wanted a refund for room that was unusable. In the end it comes down to this, you either pull the stops out to ensure that guests have a good night sleep or you skimp on basics like decent double glazed windows on the ground floor. All the social media marketing and pat replies to customer concerns, don't actually fix any of the problems. Would not go back.

Pleasant surprise for London. Good rooms with nice facilities. Good sized shower, coffee machine, well equipped compact kitchen space. Nice pillows! Very close to the tube, so well located to hop about London. And, super clean room especially for the price. Self check in and clear instructions. Excellent find. Reasonable price given its London. Just note/,you need to take your own soap!!

First time of choosing to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel. Think we definitely chose the best. From the entrance right the way through the property, this place is immaculate. It’s obviously been totally renovated. Everything has been thought of. We had Room 8 on the first floor, which had a lovely balcony with double doors you could open up onto with a nice little table and chairs. The bathroom is so well kitted out, with the most amazing shower. Very comfortable bed, nice clean white crisp bedding. Good wardrobe space. Ironing board, iron, hairdryer, plenty of sockets, USB ports, under floor heating, towel heater in bathroom. Halogen ceramic hob, powerful microwave, full size fridge. Literally everything you could possibly wish for, for a few nights/week away. Location is fab, a stones through from Hyde Park, Bayswater and Queensway Tube stations. So many eating places, convenience stores... you name it! We will most definitely return - the most chilled out visit we’ve ever had to London.
