DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London - Hyde Park

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Nice, friendly, and clean hotel in close proximity to multiple Underground stations, Hyde Park, and Paddington station for quick access to Heathrow airport. Would definitely stay here again when in London.

The Double Tree was our last night stay in our holiday. We enjoyed the clean room and friendly staff. Overall a good place to stay over. Nice location and the concierge was friendly and provided information for many activities.

My wife and i stayed for 6 nights and had a very good experience. Would stay again.

El Hotel está bien situado. El trato del personal es excelente. La habitación un poco pequeña pero limpia y la cama muy cómoda. El desayuno bueno. Buenas vistas desde la habitación Si vuelvo a Londres repetiremos

The service was great. The room clean and comfortable. Central location.

This hotel is directly across from Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and Princess Diana's park for kids. It is close to Queens Way station and many places to eat and shop including drug stores and grocery stores. There is a laundry service if you need it . There is also a laundry mat one block away, too if you prefer to do it yourself. The staff was great and helped me use a computer to check on my flight status and figure out which terminal to go to when I left. They will even arrange a taxi for you. The room was cleaned to perfection everyday. Great air conditioning as we had many warm days. We stayed for 12 nights and I would absolutely return next year when we visit.

great location across from Kensington garden and Hyde Park

The hotel location is very convenient for accessing the Underground to get around and being in a lovely neighborhood/area of London, just across the street from Hyde Park. Breakfast at the nearby Cafe Diana is nice, and there you might catch a glimpse of a royal arriving or leaving Kensington Palace.

The room was nice overall. It was a little small for Americans, but definitely good for a continental European. The WiFi is horrible. They have a voucher system that expires randomly, kicks you off, and does not seem to enjoy working. Also, it seems that the ventilation goes from the bathrooms directly into the hallways as the smell is fine in the morning and proceeds from disgusting into nauseating as the day progresses. Also, the hotel bar took 25 minutes to make 2 cocktails, which were bad, gag-inducing bad (the beer on tap is good though). We wound up changing hotels for the remainder of our stay.

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that the AC was not working. It did not get cold and the windows couldn't be opened so it was very hot. Also, the safe boxes were not working properly. Other than that the location and service was great.

Just a gorgeous weekend in London town. Beautiful weather (yes, it does happen) and the hotel was pleasant enough. As a single person I had a small room, barely enough space to keep my suitcase open, but it was clean and otherwise pleasant and up-to-date. Free bottled water, coffee, tea and a shortbread cookie. Nice touch. The staff was very attentive to my wishes (safe rental) and the bus stop in front of the hotel was handy. Notting Hill and Hyde Park are really close and pleasant for strolling about. Breakfast, included in the price I paid, was super.

Great location next to the park, tube, etc. Worth staying at if you're looking for a safe choice of hotel vs some of the smaller ones in the area. East facing rooms do get hot in the summer mornings.

This staff could care less greeting me on arrival. I told them upon arrival my room door would not lock properly finally on my last night they moved me to another room. Nothing beats packing & unpacking twice on your last night. My room I had no preference on location was terrible. Noisy all night long. I will advise everyone I know NEVER to use [...] much less a Ramada chain again.

For a quick trip when you don't spend much time in a room this hotel was great. The room was clean, but small. For a 4 star rating would have expected it to be a bit more posh, maybe upgraded linens and a mini bar, but it was acceptable.

This hotel was perfectly located to catch the tube and use public transportation. It is directly across the street from Hyde Park which was great for a walk, run or whatever your pleasure. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous
