A really lovely hotel, slightly different from the usual chain hotels but well worth a stay. Rooms are a little on the smaller side but all very clean and well presented. Breakfast is great, lots of options.

The pictures are completely deceiving. The area where the hotel is bad. The staff barely spoke English. No laundry service, no room service. Any question we asked they just could not answer. Not knowledgeable. Specially at the front desk. The elevator doesn’t work properly. One day I had not hot water, reported it and she woman couldn’t say anything; just said nobody else had reported it! And I was like? What? The breakfast was good though. But I would never stay there again. It’s away from everything. I felt like in a scam. Really.

An amazing property that is a hidden secret nestled in the East End. It truly is like walking into another era. I really didn’t want to post anything as I wanted this property to remain unknown from the rest of the world. The staff is exceptional with wonderful facilities, such as the restaurant with beautiful food and decor. This property is completely unique and demands a clientele who will respect this. The only negative it is not very conveniently placed in terms of transportation.

Not Usually One for Negative Reviews Stayed here after a cancelled flight. Lovely building, but the service didn’t reflect it. When I questioned the £100 deposit (more than at top hotels I’ve stayed in), the staff’s response was flippant — “in case of damages” — said loudly in front of guests. It was the tone, not the policy. Room was basic, but fair given what I booked. Just no warmth or welcome. Felt like the staff saw themselves as the bougie guests, and I was the one being judged. Hospitality starts with humility.

The entrance lobby is totally unique. Was looking forward to a "themed" room only to discover it was themed with a character which I don't approve of, so surrounded by reminders during my stay. Not given option to change. Bed was comfortable, shower ok (strange fixed narrow head, so not easy to negotiate if you didn’t want to wash your hair. Room not particularly large, considering it was supposed to be a "deluxe". I didn’t have breakfast, so can't comment on that. Not somewhere I would stay again, I'm sorry to say, as it didn’t meet expectations.

This is such a cute little place close to transport. I didn’t want to be in the city center, but close enough to see everything. The breakfast was the best! Get room toward the front of you don’t lie the ambient noise of the train. The rooftop garden was gorgeous. I’d stay here again for sure

Lovely cost-effective hotel near City/Canary Wharf. Slightly bizarre public areas full of stuffed toys, prams, garden ornaments etc which is a bit off-putting.
