Had an issue with the first room offered, but rapidly resolved with a free upgrade. Out of time for dinner out but had a very acceptable snack in the bar. Breakfast was excellent, staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous. Will stay again next time we are in London

The room was on the lower ground and didn’t have any windows to the outside there was an imitation window with shutters that if opened looked into I think it was the bar area we arrived earlier to drop off our bags firstly we were told they had upgraded our room and it was ready but they then said the room was not ready and they were not offering an upgrade and to come back after 3.oclock Over all not impressed very expensive for what you get

Clean rooms, charming exterior, welcoming staff, excellent location, fairly budget friendly for London. Highly recommend for a short stay. Only “not great” - there was almost no place to store clothes, and no electricity outlet in the bathroom. Neither would stop from staying there again.
