the comfort inn was great the personal was great and very helpful and the holy city is a must see and along the way you may see free range long horns buffalo and all kinds of critters and yes I would do it again
Booked this hotel for 4 nights. The north wind blew through our north facing room at about 35-40 mph. and it was freezing. The seal from the window unit had come apart. We were told that there where no available rooms; so we had not choice but to stick it out. We got towels from the front desk and blocked out as much cold and wind as we could. Day 2 we asked tobe transferred to another room (room 201) Thank goodness we checked it out before packing up all of our things, because that room was just as bad if not worse. So we stayed in room 418. The next two days were ok. There was a strong smell of natural gas. I reported that. Was told that the dryers were on downstairs and that she would have the girls shut the vents in the laundry room. Each morning we had to deal with that smell. Thankfully no one lit a match; the place would have exploded. The lobby furniture was awful and clearly dirty. The website for this hotel should have mentioned that it was undergoing a renovation. Day 3 it got cold again and the wind was very high that night (Sunday night) My 21 month old great niece ended up with a head cold due to the wind exposure. I do not recommend this establishment. STAY AWAY ! We purchased baking soda to pour down the drain in the bathroom because it smelled so bad. The fixtures throughout the room were falling down. I called ChoiceHotels to relay our experience. They offered a $50 gift card for compensation.. I told the gentleman that it was not about the money, it is about what we had to endure. So my advice is to stay away at least until the renovation is complete because this place is truly in need of repair. Room Tip: Do not choose a north facing room when it is windy.
They are apparently in the middle of a renovation or I probably would've given them two out of five instead of three. The room seemed clean enough, but there was a lot of wear and tear, including peeling paint and water stains on the ceiling and battered and scraped up furniture. They might have done better to shut down the hotel while they're renovating, as the hallway was in the middle of construction and the room itself clearly needs some upkeep. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable in the parking was great. OK for a night, and maybe longer once they finish the renovations.
We had a wedding to officiate on Mt. Scott and selected this Comfort Suites for our stay. Our rooms were spacious and well appointed. Comfortable, clean and quiet are always things you hope for in a hotel room, they did not disappoint. Courteous, knowledgeable and professional staff always make a stay memorable as well. Our only suggestion would be to make the breakfast a little more desirable. The lady that was trying to keep it full and fresh was doing as much as she could, get her some help, your customers would appreciate it. We will stay here again.
Comfort Suites is very clean and comfortable.The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast every morning with a variety of choices. One of the best stays at a hotel that we have experienced. Would recommend it to all my family and friends..
We arrived at about 1am because American Airlines once again made us miss a connection (ugh) so we had to divert and drive. When we arrived- the hotel didn’t have our reservation and there was a he said she said battle with Hotels.com. After about 30 minutes and us explaining we had to be somewhere at 8am and desperately needed sleep- the front desk gave us a key to room 304 and said we’d figure out our prepaid reservation in the morning. We arrived at room 304 to find it had never been cleaned and had been somewhat trashed by the previous guests. We went BACK to the front desk- now at 1:45am where he gave us a key for room 310. It was “cleaned” but let me say- in general- yuck. All the hallways were being “painted” so there was tape and missing paint everywhere, the room itself was dated and depressing, with ripped wallpaper, stained carpet, and doors that looked like they had never seen a cleaning product. We didn’t have a choice- we had prepaid or we would have left. In two days we never had a visit from housekeeping, they just simply never showed up. The iron was broken as was the hair dryer. Breakfast was awful, they “ran out of eggs” at 8am. The juice and water were room temperature- it was just weird. The lobby furniture is old and decrepit. Just a general no. Wouldn’t stay here again. Ever.
good reviews and seemed affordable for the night. crumbs on floor. mold on tub. bug on towel. stains on carpet. bugs in light fixtures. door for fridge didnt shut. bugs i elevator light. stains on walls.
My wife and I stayed here one night only, but it was a great night stay. The room was clean and it has a comfortable bed. The staff is friendly and the Breakfast is good, It is a good Hotel breakfast with waffle's, cereal, toast, fruit, biscuit and gravy .
Checked in and paid for a handicapped accessible room and due to the fact that someone else had not checked out of the room on time, and the staff thought it was a misreservation, I wound up having to spend my first night in a nonaccessible double room instead of the accessible queen room I paid for. They made up for it by letting me leave my bags at the front desk and they put them in the room the moment the guest checked out and the room was cleaned. I did get my room the next day and for the duration of my stay. When I checked out and received my statement, the nonaccessible double room was more than the accessible queen room. How is that possible???? I will stay there again because it is a great hotel and my family enjoyed it, but I will DEFINITELY double check BEFORE I pay what room I am getting.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently attending the basic training graduation for our daughter. When we entered it was apparent that they were undergoing some remodeling. The lady at the front desk was very nice and got us checked in although it did take a while as she was having trouble with her computer. There were 5 of us and we rented 3 different rooms. Two of us were on the first floor at the end. When we entered the room, it was obvious that the rooms were in need of remodeling. There was some peeling wallpaper a large tear in the arm of the sofa and something that looked like paint smeared on the wallpaper in the bathroom. We were given a handicapped room which we did not request and it actually made it a bit difficult for us as there is no tub or any place to put your things in the shower so we had to use the shower chair outside the shower for our things. The toilet is high and I am not a short person. The thing that I was most disappointed in was the cleanliness or rather lack of. There were several dead bugs on the floor. I actually borrowed the painters vacuum and vacuumed some up right when we got there. I didn't have long in the room as we left shortly after we checked in but after returning I noticed even more dead bugs, along with a couple live ones, along the walls in the corners under the sink in the room, several by the door and behind the bathroom door which also included cobwebs with dead bugs. There were cobwebs under the light in the bathroom, cobwebs in the corner and in the wooden shelving between the beds and the sofa and those were quite dusty as well. I went to the other room next door to us and noticed the same thing. Also noticed that we had requested a king bed but to two queen which wasn't a huge deal but just added to our frustration. The young man at the front desk was quite apologetic and went and got a vacuum and began to vacuum our room while I did the one next door as we were tired and ready to call it a night. He did offer to clean the other room. He did comment that it was worse than how I described it. That made for easy sleeping that night, not! I must say this is the first time I have ever vacuumed my own hotel room. The staff did comment that the issue was most likely from the construction and the door being propped open which may have contributed to it but I cannot believe this room would have gotten in this condition if it had been cleaned that morning or even in the last couple days. It appears that this room had not been cleaned for some time. I did ask for different rooms but were told they were full. The young man did discount our rooms. If the construction was the culprit I would suggest that these rooms not be rented out until it is completed it was just such a disappointment. We stayed at Comfort Suite on the way down and the way back and the cleanliness of those rooms made me realize even more what subpar condition the rooms were in. The staff was very nice, although a couple were a bit more laid back than I would have expected at a place of business. The location was close to base but I cannot recommend this hotel due to the condition of our rooms. I have done several reviews and am not one to nit pick but our rooms were really not what we have been used to from the Comfort Inn and Suites.
