Room was great…..as usual, lost to the casino
The hotel staff was not at all very welcoming. When we checked in we had to put in another 150 deposit for the room. After we had already paid in advance. Checking out was no better. Not one person asked how our stay was or even thanked us.
We came here to celebrate a birthday. Once we arrived we had to spend at least 30 minutes waiting in line to check in. We had 3 rooms booked in a new tower that we paid for 2 months in advance. However they were not able to find confirmation of payment for one of the rooms saying my credit card was declined… which was definitely NOT the case.. we had to wait another 30 minutes for the manager to resolve the issue…. Not a very pleasant experience. They were not very apologetic and kept blaming Expedia… Finally, they located the payment and gave us room keys. We practically had to beg to give us a late check out since they wasted an hour of our time on my dad’s birthday we had kids with us…. I travel quite a bit but never experienced anything like that.. I understand technical issues happen but I wasn’t happy with how front desk handled it. They acted like I inconvenienced them and not the other way around.. Other than that everything was fine. We had a table reserved for birthday dinner at the steakhouse and it was very nice. Afterwords we hit the casino and stayed there pretty late.. all stuff members there were very helpful and polite. The next day we went to the pool and enjoyed ourselves there. New, clean and fun for the kiddos. Overall nice but left a sour aftertaste because of initial arrival experience. Made me feel like a number they don’t really care about and not a valued guest..

short staffed. No maps of the property. No listing of locations of fitness centers. no listings of open hours for places.
Stunning property. We stayed in the Sky Tower and were so impressed with the design, decor, cleanliness and options for entertainment. It will definitely become a new spot for us on our way down to Dallas.
The sky tower was so amazing and quiet. The pool wasn’t ready but we walked over to the other pool and it was fabulous! Cant wait for it all to be available.

My only issue was no bar soap. I went to the front desk and got some because I waited almost an hour for them to bring it to me. They then came and brought shower gel when I asked for bar soap. So glad I decided to walk up and get it myself.
This was my first time to visit Choctaw. Overall, I was pleased. The only complaint I had was that our room was on the side of the building facing the main road, so there were lights lighting up the building. The blackout curtains didn’t come together all the way so the lights were able to still shine through. My husband had to move the chair in the room to hold the curtains shut. The nonsmoking part of the casino didn’t smell of cigarette smoke. There’s a bowling alley and movie theater there for other entertainment. The food was great. There are few food options in the early morning hours from 3-8am. However, there are a few restaurants right down the street.
The hotel was disgusting- we walked into the room which was extremely underwhelming, especially for the price (350 per night) the first thing we noticed was clipped finger nails on the floor, the next thing we noticed was a view of a parking garage not very nice. Overall the room was dirty, the food selection at the Casino was terrible. This hotel should be a 1 star rated destination and charges a 5 star price.
We loved the room. It was our second time there on our anniversary and the room we stayed in was awesome.
We stayed at the Inn, although I read some reviews that said it was a long walk to the actual casino, it wasn't bad at all. Even staying on the second floor. The room was lovely for it to be the inn. The pool was very close to our room but was closed by the time we got there. Ate at Smash Burger which was very good, a lil expensive, but what do you expect. Lol. Offered mask and hand sanitizer at the door. Also had you playing at every other slot machine due to covid concerns. I pulled the fact that they had a smoking section where you can play as well as an area for non smokers which wasn't as full as smokers section. Check in and check out process was very quick. Overall lovely time, will be returning!
Even though the room was not smoking there was a nasty cigarette smoke smell at night. Room service didn't stop by until 3pm on the first night. That was super late. I had to turn her way. On the second, the day of my check out, it stop by around 9 am. Again I turned her away I had two hours before check out. Very inconsistent. I did not get a refresher on my room at all at a convenient time.

We are sorry you experienced any inconvenience with our Covid Protocols. We don't hand out maps anymore due to Covid. We do have several display maps placed throughout the Casino. Covid also effects are staff and establishments hours of operation. We apologize for any inconvenience.
