The room was spotless, the bed comfy, AC fabulous and it was very quiet and peaceful. I couldn’t even hear any traffic going by.

Publix grocery store is 2 blocks away in a shopping center which makes it easy if you need anything. The middle of town where the action is is a 5 min walk. This hotel gas 12 units and is in a great location to everything. I would stay here again. Remember your here for the weather, beach and outdoor activities. The room is clean, the shower is powerful and it has a small kitchen. Good value for the money.

The staff was amazing! Whatever we needed they were very quick to help us. The office manager was very kind, we had daily conversations about nothing in particular just conversation. Our housekeeper was very nice and helpful. I will definately stay here again!!
Great location and you can walk right to the beach with your FREE beach towels and beach chairs. 10 min slow walk to the pier. Nice clean rooms with fulll fridge and Small kitchenette. Newly remodeled room as well. Loves it. The staff were so nice and was a huge pleasure to deal with. We are looking forward to another visit.
4 day stay was great - close to beach, clean, good value and staff was pleasant. A strong heavily scented cleaner/air freshener was unpleasant the first day but became less noticeable in later days.
Easy check-in. Clean quite and comfortable. Didnt have much time but was just right for our needs, would stay again.

enjoyed my time here. concierge who helped me (a lovely asian girl) was wonderful & accommodating. she kept my room filled with coffee. although other reviewers claim it was noisy..it wasn't. my room was right near the road & i never heard a thing.
Rooms were very nice inside, outside is nothing special but you are very close to the beach.
The Great Escape Inn is a very nice and affordable place to stay in Lauderdale by the sea, not a fancy 5 star hotel but immaculate clean, the lady at the registration desk was friendly and very helpful. It is located just a few blocks away from the beach and a short walk to many restaurants. The only issue I should say is that during our stay they were doing some upgrades on the floor near the pool area so while they were working nobody could use the pool or stay close by since there were a lot of dust caused by this, but the lady at the front desk informed me of the work they were doing during those days starting at 11 am, apparently they are remodeling the hostel so it would be nicer so keep in mind this if you plan to go during this period of time and enjoy the pool before or after working time, for me not a big deal since you have the beach so close. Overall me and my husband enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back.
