I have been at this hotel before. It is a hotel tailored mostly to business and corporate clients. efficient, close to highway and airport. What made this trip special and brought this hotel to my favorite Westin in the U.S., was the front desk. I was greeted warmly by Stephanie who treated me as a special guest they were waiting for. Stephanie and Nickete went beyond when I told them I forgot my charger and store did not have charger for Anbdroid. It did not take that long they send a charger , probably from their personal stuff, to help me for that night. That was great enough to relieve the stress of not having cell phone. The next day was another surprise, as Stephanie probably had noticed that was my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised by a birthday cake and birthday card signed by Caitlin (Experiemnt officer), Andre B, Taylor, Jordan and Alex A. Westin truly made me feel special. Kudos to this amazing team!
I stayed from April 12th-18th and from the front desk to housekeeping were so welcoming. But I must admit there was one person that made my stay absolutely wonderful (Monique from housekeeping) when I told her my son wasn't feeling well, she left extra tea and water. Its just little details like that makes someone feel like home. I would definitely recommend and come again.
It seems that we can not visit Fort Lauderdale without staying at this Westin. Each visit reinforces our opinion that it is a very nice and comfortable hotel to stay with. From their friendly staff to their heavenly beds it is just a pleasant experience. We were greeted by Catherina, at the front desk, with the warmest smile and great suggestions for local activities. It was a pleasure to chat with her at every encounter. The room was large, comfortable, the beds were great, as usual, and it was very clean as well. The breakfast was also up-to-par as usual and the staff was also warm and friendly. The pool area is beautiful, spacious and clean. It is a very nice place to stay for business and pleasure. I am sure that we will stay there again in our next visit to Fort Lauderdale, FL.
We stayed here one night before a cruise leaving from Miami. The hotel lobby was nice, staff helped us fax some important paperwork, room was clean, bed was comfy... Parking was free :) Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.
We travel frequently but were pleasantly surprised how great this hotel was. Very curteous and clean, our balcony view was incredible. We didn't need for anything and Storm checked on us daily to see if there was anything we needed. Thank you!
Super service-minded staff from first "welcome" to last "au revoir". Nice big up to date rooms. Large outdoor pool area with sunbeds and tables/chairs/umbrella and their own waterfall. Loved the in-room Starbucks coffee.
Just came back from a weeks stay. From bell hops Carl and big Dave to all front desk personal everybody is on there game.Extra special kudos to Fred and Steve in Restaurant great people and all personal in Restaurant.i will be back.
Stayed for a week last year on business. Bed was so comfortable! Big room. Great shower, friendly staff. Best breakfast choice I've ever experienced. Dinners were very nice too. Looking forward to my next stay!
For the same price, you may find a 2 star place to stay on or closer to the beach. But this hotel is beautiful, meticulous, and just right for our family. About 2 miles from the beach. Friendly service. Free parking. Excellent breakfast buffet at $20/adult (not cheap but we were on vacation!). The hotel is really close to the highway but that didn't stop us from enjoying a couple of drinks poolside. The best part, the beds were heavenly and we slept GREAT. We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for one night in April 2017. Pros: -The rooms are quite large and nicely appointed -There's some lime flavored water in the lobby -All the staff I interacted with were very nice and friendly -Internet was fairly fast Cons: -The shower was nice with a rain shower and handheld, but it the pressure was pretty bad. The drain was clogged so after a minute of two I was standing in a pool of water up to my ankles.
