The construction around the hotel hindered accessibility, but overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The amenities were nice and I would recommend this hotel for staying near East Olas Boulevard.

Their impeccable 5 Stars services from the Heart can at any day, anytime, stand toe to toe with any 5 Stars International Hospitality! Over 30 hours of flight from the other side of the continent can certainly do a number on your nerves and state of hypertension. Dwianna tenacity to get things right amongst her guest is most impressive and commendable! Tanika, Grace, Ledione and Claudia were so kind, patient and friendly that I felt literally at home and became so addicted to these lovely sweethearts that I came back to stay with them time and again! It’s not so much the hardware but rather it’s the Staffs which is the software that drives the hardware! And under all that wonderful and lovely kindness from the staffs is the reflection of Oliver Baker’s Professional and Successful Management of his team! Did I even mention that numerous times Grace and Tanika helped me with ordering food delivery when I was feeling unwell and Tanika displayed such kindness by assisting me with my online purchase when my credit card failed. Words alone cannot express my immense gratitude for such lovely kindness! These promising, fine and intense team of sweethearts have taken the 5 Stars services to a whole different new level here in the U.S.! My wife and I stayed at this property both before and after our recent cruise. Having previously stayed at a Fairfield Inn, we knew what to expect from this Marriott brand - good accommodations, good, free breakfast and good value for the room rate. The bonus was that this property offers a free airport shuttle. The hotel lived up to our expectations despite the rude treatment we received, not once, but a couple of times at the front desk. The front desk clerk made us wait for service while she finished her personal conversations with other hotel workers. I felt that we, the guests, were intruding. Adjacent to the hotel, there's construction work going on. Don't know if it's an extension of the existing property or another separate project, but getting into and out of the main entrance was challenging. This hotel is close to Port Everglades cruise port, and a separate shuttle service (All Stars) provides service to and from the cruise port, or to the airport post cruise for an additional fee.
We arrived September 6th and upon arrival it was very difficult to actually get to the hotel because of construction. I called the hotel 4 times as we were driving around the block trying to figure out how go actually get to the parking lot. Every single time a woman answered and immediately put me on hold without letting me get a word in edgewise. We could not figure out how in the world to park. Finally we went through the tunnel (that had ALOT of traffic) and u turned and was able to park but without any help from the hotel. Once we entered the lobby i fully anticipated a massive line at the front desk, what else could possibly be the reason for continuously putting me on hold? Come to find there was two front desk agents and zero line! This was absurdly frustrating. Upon entering the room I had requested extra pillows and bath towels, of course there were none. We were in town for a concert and stayed out much later than we anticipated so when we returned at 430am I called the front desk, who took their time answering the phone, and requested a late check out. Vincent (i believe) gave me the option for a 1pm check out which I happily accepted and then went to bed. About an hour later our phone was ringing, it was either front desk or housekeeping asking if we requested wash clothes. Clearly they forgot who called and made that request. Back to sleep! 10am came and we have someone knocking on our door. Upon answering the door they asked us when we were leaving! Had i not been so tired i wouldve left right then. We barely got an rest from the constant interruptions and finally when leaving we had issues getting out of the parking gate. Sure it was clean but honestly NEVER AGAIN. Zero hospitality at that hotel. Retrain your employees. Answer the phone with a smile cause trust me we can tell. Its one of the first things you learn in the industry, the employees were just completely put off by anyone staying at the hotel.
I stayed there for a few nights. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. I always like white comforters. Even the decorative pillows had white covers. The buffet was good. It had all the basics.
This hotel is typical of the Fairfield Inn brand: clean, comfortable, ample breakfast. We called for the shuttle at the airport and it arrived within twenty minutes. A $10 per person shuttle is available to get to the cruise port. The building next to the hotel is under construction so ask for a room on the alternate side.
My husband and I drove down from Georgia to go see some family in the area . Unfortunately our reservation was made at another hotel by our travel agent and we were so tired to leave. The manager Adrian was more than helpful with getting us a room. Which was very cozy and clean ! He also recommended las olas strip that is walking distance ! He really knows how to go above and beyond for his guest . Thanks to him we were able to be close to family and enjoy a lovely evening . We recommend this hotel 100% . (Breakfast was great and the pool was very relaxing on the 4th floor roof top)
We only had an overnight stay after a cruise. As we had arrived at hotel early we were directed to the complimentary breakfast (very yummy), while they found a room for us. We were able to go to our room by 9.30am which was fantastic. Room was an accessible one which was very clean and spacious, comfy bed. Hotel is easy walking distance to Las Olas Boulevard. Check out at 12 suited us perfectly. Staff extremely friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.
We made last minute changes to our trip to Ft. Lauderdale, and thankfully Grace answered the phone when I called the property. She secured a last minute room (with a great view) for us and a king size bed. The property was clean and very well organized. The breakfast team kept things moving and organized. Parking was secure and easy to access. It was an excellent stay. But, I think Grace is a robot!! She was always smiling, always courteous (and I saw her had to deal with some challenging people), and always professional. I'm just kidding. I know she's not a robot. But I wish I could clone her! She's passionate about taking wonderful care of her guests. Thank you Grace and Fairfield Ft. Lauderdale! We look forward to coming back!
Excellent customer service! The manager Mr. Adrian Colon is very professional! Will definitely come back. I particularly liked how clean the room was. Please let the entire staff know to keep up the good job.
