I checked in very late. I got the last room in the hotel. When I got to my room it felt like somebody just left. It had a strong smell of Marijuana smoke. A few draws and cabinet doors were left open. I checked the bed looked freshly made . I decided to take a shower and found a used wash cloth hanging ...
Great location, about 15 to 30 minute walk from every thing. The hotel is also a five minute walk from the Orange/Blue line and maybe a 10 minute walk from the Red line. Fantastic staff and great view of the city.
The amenities were very nice. Ina nice neighborhood with many restaurants nearby. We had empanadas for lunch and pub food for dinner. It was about a two Mille walk to the National Mall which was fine with us. The room was very comfortable. I would recommend to my friends!
We are about location, location, and location. We needed an inexpensive, clean, and quiet hotel located walking distance from all the major things we wanted to see in DC, and that is exactly what we got with this hotel.
This is a great option if you want to stay in the heart of Washington D.C. in a nice hotel. The woman who greeted me was super nice and accommodating. Just be aware if you arrive early (or from what I’ve seen in other reviews - checking out late), while most hotels give you the courtesy, this chain ...

Like a boutique hotel with lovely room, excellent staff and great restaurant. Conveniently situated close to many of D.C. attractions. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Stayed there overnight on our trip back from Florida It was convenient to I 95 and the hotel was up-to-date clean and comfortable. They event threw in breakfast. What else do you need
This is a great option if you want to stay in the heart of Washington D.C. in a nice hotel. The woman who greeted me was super nice and accommodating. Just be aware if you arrive early (or from what I’ve seen in other reviews - checking out late), while most hotels give you the courtesy, this chain will charge you an extra $50. I arrived early in the city was charged the fee, however she upgraded my room and put me on a high floor so it balanced out anyway. The room was nice. Many complain it’s small, but this is not unusual for larger cities. I found the size fine. Nice TV where you can pair your phone. Keriug machine. No mini fridge or microwave in the room. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest I’ve seen, but not particularly dirty. I found the blanket to be thin, but there’s an extra in the closet. My only gripe is it’s in a plastic bag, so I question how often they switch it out, but I never asked either. Breakfast is no frills with a lounge area that offers a coffee machine, a bowl of fruit and Chewy bars. Upon checkout, did have an encounter with a really off-putting, snarky male at the desk. Didn’t seem he wanted to be bothered - was going through the motions of the job. Lacked real warmth toward guests - and fellow employees - unlike the initial woman who checked me in. If on a budget, I would recommend!
The hotel was just as pictured...clean and fresh (no odors).....a.very pleasant stay!! Hated to leave!
