Good fishing off the beach small reef fish and catfish at night, also what ever else might swim past, but they didnt really have a good grill just a cheap one from walmart, but it got the job done, in all its an alright hotel right off the gulf with super firendly staff.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. First, I booked an "oceanfront view" room. There is no such thing. Or so I was told when I checked in. However, much of the hotel, including the three rooms with an oceanfront view, were under construction. Maybe this was the reason my room was a standard room. The room (and entire hotel) is old and broken down. I don't mind outdated, but I at least expect cleanliness and at least adequate amenities. My room had a few holes in the sheetrock walls, mildew stains in the bathroom and bathroom doors, no extra towels, and worst of all, the shower barely had a trickling flow of water. I went to the office, explained the shower problem, and agreed to stay one night in the room snd move to a different room my remaining four nights. Changing rooms the next day was a struggle because the communication between different employees was poor or nonexistent. I eventually got to my new room. Again, dirty bathroom, a couple holes in walls, a dangling surge protector connecting multiple tv and refrigerator cords, unplugged or unworking desk clock, a floor that left your bare feet extremely dirty, and a shower with a very low and limited flow. The beds were okay, mattresses fair in comfort. The one ice machine was broken. Not even a "Do Not Disturb" sign to use to alert housekeeping (which seemed to be around only in limited access). The pool looked nice (I did not use). A walking pier with chairs and chaise lounges allows for a nice sunset view.

very quiet complex close to all and at a great price. Walk to restaurants and shopping.

Would not stay here again. Gal checking us in had "a situation" with person ahead of us so took about 20 minutes before she could help us. I did have reservation. She then proceeded to tell us that we should not swim at the beach because there are jellyfish, barracuda that bite and other things. I asked several locals at dinner if this was the case and "no, that is ridiculous, I have been swimming here my whole life, she must be from the mainland". Total BS! Mattress sounded and felt just like plastic bubble wrap, have never experienced a mattress like that. Eeewwwww...No mattress pad just very, very thin bottom sheet. Room very run down although I see they are now renovating rooms. Tub drains too slow thus standing in water while showering. No stopper on sink. Felt very uncomfortable and worried abut 'bugs'. Halls, etc. unkempt outside.

Beautiful view and funny place .....................

The area was great. Our shower rod was coming out of the bathroom wall. We let the staff know but nobody came to fix it. Great stay otherwise

My room was advertised as a room with a garden view. The "garden" was a 6ft. strip of pine straw with a propane gas tank in it, a privacy fence & parking lot full of roll off dumpsters. The sheets were dirty & stained when we checked in, there was dirt (looked like dry wall putty) all over the windows & mold all along the window sills. The clock was filthy with bugs & mold inside the grooves on top of it. I spent one entire day listening to the workers in the room next door drill & saw in the wall above my bed. Since I am disabled, I spend alot of time in my room & go on vacation to relax & recoup. There was no chance of that due to remodeling right next door to my room & the entire end of my floor. The tv also didn't have a remote that worked even though the maint. person brought 3 of them to my room to try. We ended up with one that would change channels & volume but I still had to get up & turn off & on manually. One day the elevator wouldn't work once I got inside, but fortunately the door did reopen to let me back out. This was a very disappointing stay and certainly NOT worth the price I paid.. I won't be back there to stay again. On a pleasant note, the housekeepers were very friendly & helpful & Tyler went above & beyond to help us out.

The staff are nice but the hotel is a dump! It's not worth the money! Even if it's cheap! It looks ok from the outside, and it's right next to Snooks (great outdoor restaurant), but the rooms are old and dirty. The beach is the best thing here, and even that is pretty much un-usable (it's really small, and the water quality is so bad that you will swim once, shower off, and not swim again).

We had cockroaches in the room, had to ask several times for towels, the breakfast is only a bagged muffin, bed was ver uncomfortable and the bathroom had hairs all over

Dirty hand wash towels were on the floor from the night before, they placed right on top of the bed after straightened up the sheets (not replacing new sheets). Dirty room, musty smell The standing shower water running was even worser than the park public shower stand. When I addressed with the Acting Manager, she said that the water has been running weak as that, and she would call someone to fix ASAP same day. When we came back at night, nothing was fixed. I asked her and she said the General Manager would call me back. No calls!! Besides those, bedbugs bites!!!!!

Hotel staff did the bare minimum. We got towels but the room was only cleaned once in 6 days.

location was fantastic. Hotel was a little dated, and in need of repairs. (lounge chairs were broken, bathroom door was warped and did not close completely). We had to ask for toilet paper and towels.

Everyone was very nice. It was clean, safe and a good value for the money. Cinvenient location to all attractions

what a piece of crap. Orbitz should be berated for this recommendation!
