Property could be way better; could use some attention/updates on the rooms. Safe was broken, USB ports didn't work, door did not self-shut (had to push it to close it fully), curtain/blinds were a pain to deal with. Ice machine by the office was broken the entire stay (friday through sunday). Owner of the property just needs to spend some money and update/fix everything for the price per night they are asking.

This is a motel, not a resort or hotel. Had I known that I would not have stayed. Rooms were dated and very basic i.e. bed with sink in the bedroom area. Water in shower dribbled out and the room was musty smelling. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very nice hotel with great costumer service and great coffee! We used the little manmade beach with beach chairs (hotel also provides beach towels) and the paddle boards. Very nice location just next to a great restaurant as well.

This is a great hotel for relaxing on the beach or at the pool & there are also kayaks & paddle boards available for guests to use. The rooms are clean & nicely decorated . Snooks restaurant is right next door & has both a restaurant & an outdoor bar area. The food is top quality & there is live music. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the water while listening to the music! Highly recommend!

My husband and I had a two night stay. The property is kept up well, landscaping and grounds are very pretty. The beach access is basically concrete with a thin layer of construction grade sand on top. The water pressure is not the greatest, and if you are up early you have to run the water for about 20 minutes for water to heat up to tepid. The room was spacious and very clean, mattress not so great. The towels are pretty shabby. The ice maker was not working so we were provided with a quart size bag of ice cubes. The staff was friendly. We did not go on the snorkeling excursion because of weather.

Staff was great. Bed was terrible, my wife thought the room was very humid, didn’t bother me though. Pictures on Expedia were somewhat misleading as they gave the impression that the rooms had a view of the ocean, a few of them do, ours did not. Property is nice, ocean is right out back with a nice dock to sit on and a lagoon to swim in.

Beautiful place to sat yin key largo, room was very nice and clean. Only con was there’s not much parking close to the front side of the property. We had to park on the backside of hotel which wasn’t far but still far enough ti where it would be a long walk with our bags.

Clean, simple, and up to date room. Kind of like a little secret hideout. It is tucked away which keeps it quiet. Extra star 🌟 for the Iguana performance; he was having leaves for breakfast in the tree putaide our window. We had a glimpse of brand new chicks from the local hens who nest in the bushes.

Our stay at the Bayside Inn

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Bayside Inn in Key Largo for my 85rh Birthday. The room was very comfortable and had a deck with an umbrella table and chairs and a nice view of the grounds and the bay. TJ, in the office, was very welcoming and accommodating and we enjoyed having coffee from the coffee machine in the office.

The rooms are clean but a little shabby, the real value added is the property itself and the access to a lovely beach/marina area with kayaks (doubles only) and paddleboards, a small pool, little cabanas that feel very spa like and gorgeous sunset views at night. The bar/ resto Snooks next door is a great spot for live guitar music, drinks that are not watered down (yum) and a good variety of food. Ample parking. Can easily walk to Walgreens, CVS, Beachwear/footwear shop, Doc's Cafe (highly recommend), Starbucks and other eateries. The African Queen is across the street, as is a glass bottom boat excursion. There is a Dive Shop right at the hotel and more snorkelling-focused expeditions about 4 miles away. A small, but well-equipped gym is also available. My only negative was that even with the AC on, the rooms always felt damp, so it never felt like our clothing was dry. But I would recommend for the bay area, sunsets and location.

TJ in the office very personable. Enjoyed area by water. Nice place to relax. Furniture well kept. Pool water cold but plenty of places to sit/lay. Room was average but beds were comfortable. Enjoyed Starbucks coffee machine & water machine in office area.
