I can easily recommend this hotel. The room was pretty good. I booked a room at the lowest price possible and it was supposed to be a double queen bed room. The room I got was a king size bed with a very spacious room. It was clean and comfortable. Air conditioner worked great, no problems there. The breakfast was excellent. Eggs (usually scrambled) and they rotated some other kind of protein like sausage (link or patty) or bacon and hash brown cubes, juice and coffee machine, assorted yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, and a waffle machine. Plenty to choose from. The swimming pool and hot tub / spa were great. Both were at a pleasant temperature and were clean. There was an odor of chlorine in the air but it wasn't overwhelming, but that should be expected. The pool deck area was mostly clean but sometimes there were some used towels left by rude guests who couldn't take the time to dispense their used wet towels in the bin labeled "used towels". The only negative thing about my stay (which was out of the control of the hotel) was that the hotel was going through replacement of their roof. So it was noisy at times, limited parking near the hotel, and some trash from the work the roofers left on the property during their work on the roof. 4 out of 5 stars for me.
My family stayed here during a trip through the state of Michigan. The pool was questionable upon arrival. After my son got in, he commented that he thought the water "stank" and did not smell chlorinated at all. The pool room floors had black grime on them, like they hadn't been deck brushed in weeks. I got into the hot tub, and immediately got out after seeing scum on top of the bubbles. My husband and two sons swam in the pool. The next day, my youngest son complained about some pimple-like spots around his waist that hurt. We thought at first that it might be bed bug bites, but then he got extremely painful lumps in both of his armpits and several other painful pimple/hive like spots on other areas of his body. My husband was next, with welts near hair follicles on his chest and eyelid. My oldest son got the same. Two days later, my youngest son experienced a fever and sore throat from this. It was diagnosed as Hot Tub Rash or Swimmer's Itch, caused by untreated and dirty standing water. Before leaving this review, I called the hotel and spoke to a representative to let them know. The staff member told me that they keep their pool up to regulation and that there was no way that happened at their pool, as no one else complained about it. When I tried to tell him what my family experienced, he continuously spoke over me. When I asked him to stop talking over me, he hung up on me. We will be reporting them to the local public health authorities.
The 2nd shift desk clerk was incredibly skillful in handling this tired somewhat ornery traveler.

This hotel was very clean inside and out. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are short staffed like most other businesses but make it work. Great place to stay in a convenient and safe location. We will stay here again for sure.

The hotel smells like marijuana beginning with stepping foot on the elevator. The room was dirty with stains on furniture. Our 2nd story window was open (there are no screens) and the temperature was set to 61 in winter. This hotel was not family friendly, as adult guests were running up and down hallways, slamming doors, smoking, yelling and carrying on. We attempted to resolve with the front desk, but this went on until we checked out when the sun came up. No manager was available for us to share our concerns. We were told we would be contacted by a manager after the front desk took down our concerns and that did not happen. There is NO WAY I would recommend this hotel, especially for families.
Love being hit up for another $150 because I don’t like credit cards, when I’ve literally never lost a deposit in my life. It’s a really tacky thing to do to your customers Saad. Not about to forget his name again. N
I've stayed at this property a few times as it fits well into a bike route. This time was not good - The key I was provided for the fourth floor room did not work so with the covid situation going on I had to make more trips back to the front desk. The water in the room was lukewarm in the late evening and I had just rode 25 miles so I wanted to clean up...and not much better the following morning. And the worst part was the folks across the hall had people going in and out of their room in the 3 am - 5:13 am period and they kept letting the door slam every 10-15 minutes. (strong door returns on the doors.)
This was standard accommodation. Nothing much to like or dislike. Car is indispensable. Otherwise near things the town has to offer.
