I stayed here for two nights while doing business in Joplin. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe in this hotel. The staff was very accommodating as I had many questions. The room was clean and spacious. I would choose this hotel for my next to Joplin.
The Residence Inn located in Joplin, mo has always been my favorite hotel in the area. The staff goes above and beyond to help the guests. The breakfast is also great and gives you the dining experience of a nice restaurant. Throughout the week, socails are scheduled and that provides a great networking opportunity. The rooms and amenities are unique and the best in town.
We decided to make this hotel our night 2 stop during a recent road trip from So CA to Chicago. We were pleasantly surprised to discover this clean hotel with clean spacious rooms and friendly staff. There are various restaurants nearby. The complimentary continental breakfast was decent. The hotel was near the highway. The hotel was a great place to get a good night's rest, have a light breakfast, and begin the 4 hours drive to Pappy's Smokehouse in St. Louis for lunch enroute to Chicago.
This place should be #1 on TA. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were soft. There is an outside pool area and basketball court. This would definitely be a place to stay again if I am ever in the area here.
Stopped overnight on the way to Oklahoma. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and at a great price value. The only difficult part was the hvac system was extremely noisy. The personnel were friendly and courteous. Good location for off and on I64.
I'm getting ready to have a total knee replacement and needed to check in early to put some medical things in the freezer. Nathan, at the front desk sprang into action. Not only did he allow my husband and I to check in early, but he put us in a handicap room which was greatly appreciated. Then while we were out to lunch, Michael the maintenance man, put additional bags of ice in the freezer for me, while we were gone. How thoughtful! Our king size bed was very comfortable in a one bedroom, room. When we got home, I realized I had accidentally left some things in the freezer. Nathan at the front desk, made it very easy for us to be able to have those things sent to our home. Our stay could not have been more pleasant, and that is due to the employees who work at the Residence Inn of Joplin, Missouri.
I stayed here on 6/17/17 after being at D Day paintball for a week. I had my grandsons and 4 other boys with me trying to get rooms last minute before our return trip home to Illinois. Chris , the manager, was amazing, he gave us 2 king suites for way less then a regular room would cost,. Staff never complained about the boys, in fact they joked around with them. Totally satisfied and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Chris ! Very satisfied customer. Sharon Fuller, Westmont Il.
We were very impressed with our stay. The suite was very clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was a good variety with a well maintained dining area with al fresco seating as well. We were highly impressed. There are several restaurants within walking distance including cheddars and Olive Garden as well as steak and shake.
I stayed at this property before on a Wednesday before Memorial Day weekend. Upon arrival the lobby was very clean and also smelled fresh. The front desk clerk greeted me and then came around desk to explain where my room was and about the evening reception/breakfast area. I though that added a nice little touch. I stayed in a king suite and the bedroom area of the suite was a little small. The room has been updated with new bedding and carpeting. Cleanliness of the room was also good. With the air conditioner on I really didn't notice any highway noise being next to highway. I would definitely stay at this property again.
After several nights at hotels with bad internet, we really appreciated the connection here. Unfortunately their outdoor hot tub was closed and the indoor one was tepid and looked like it needed cleaning. Perhaps it was broken too. We enjoyed the evening desserts/wine and snacks mixer. Breakfast was very good and the coffee was better than most hotel coffee. You will hear some traffic noise unless you use the a/c to mask the sound.
