Surprisingly family friendly. Could still use some updating but nice to be resort style and have everything there for you. Rooms are spacious but bathroom was very small, couldve allocated the space better

I liked the decor. I didn't like that most all the eating establishments were closed.

They’ve done a fab job transitioning to Margaritaville from Tan Tar A. Service was A 1

Friendly staff and plenty to do, to keep the kiddo busy & happy.

We were looking for 4 day weekend where we would feel pampered and relaxed. That's why we chose a resort and not just a hotel. What we got was severely ill after eating at the Landshark Bar and Grill, a loud and raunchy party in the room next door, and no maid service. Upon checking in we were told that if we wanted fresh towels, we would have to come to the lobby to pick them up. The required taking an elevator in our building, walking through a parking garage, taking another elevator to the lobby and waiting in line at the front desk. Not our idea of a pampered weekend. Later, we were told that limited maid service was available upon request. If you have young children, there are many things for kids to do but I wouldn't want my children hearing the language we heard when people walked down the hall or when the party was going on next door. This is a place for the spring break crowd.

I have not been to the resort since it was TanTarA and it was really nice to see the upgrades from Margaritaville. The beds were comfy, the coffee shop was great we enjoyed all of the pools and horseback riding. Some items we did experience were our TV would not stay connected to a channel for more than 30 seconds at a time. We also could not enjoy our outside deck due to loudness in the heat coming off of air conditioner units below us. We were in room 471 driftwood. The wall plug for the coffee maker did not work, there was dirt around the edges of the walls in the beds, and I found a hair on the shower wall when we initially got settled in the room.

Social Distancing hmmm. It seems like it is an excuse to not have rooms cleaned and beds made daily. Daily maid service should be done unless a customer states they do not want it. Check tv remotes. Our bathroom smelled of urine. Clean the bathroom at JB's boathouse.Get a service provider to stream music in the rooms.

I liked all of the amenities the hotel has to offer, big rooms, nice views. Expected the hotel to be a bit more updated being a Margaritaville, rooms/bathrooms need to be updated. Several of the games in the arcade were out of order. Staff was mostly friendly except one older gentleman...asked him how to get to our room from the lobby (as it is big and quite confusing) and treated me like I was a moron.

Breakfast buffet was not very good. Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and biscuits and gravy were basically what you get at the holiday inn for free. They did have sweet breads, fruit, waffle and omelet bar. Waffle was the best thing I had. Stick with that stuff.

Ac in room didn’t work. No apology from the staff. They were completely booked! Spiders in the room. Cob webs everywhere. No fire escape plan in the room. Bad place.

Cleanliness, decor, staff was very helpful. Quietness.

The area was beautiful and all the employees were great. They went oit of the way to make our stay perfect.

Water park was not included and is a extra charge. Waterpark is mot worth $17 a head.

Solid if a bit dated, has amenities and right on the lake though.

Hotel itself was great. Indoor hot tub was in bad shape and needs cleaning. Pool was being cleaned by robot in mornings but never finished the job. Since remodeling is being done maybe the indoor hot tub will be among the next things. Also vents in indoor pool look like they haven't been cleaning for years same way with ceiling fans. Kinda disappointing when you pay such a high price for your stay. Also shower head barely has enough pressure to wash soap off. View from our room was great though!
