tv did not work wifi did not work. was very un cleaned!
The staff was great with any issues we had and addressed them quickly! There was always someone riding around on a golf cart to offer rides up and down the hills which was awesome!
Great property with lots to do. Will return.
Property has so much potential, but has a long way to go in terms of renovations. Work on the Driftwood building, where we stayed, was in full swing during our stay. Every day we dealt with patios and sidewalks covered with debris and metal shavings from the drilling and cutting of the railings above. The stairs and sidewalks around our building were uneven, and in really poor condition, with trip-hazards galore. In fact, my daughter fell on the steps one afternoon, breaking her big toe, and collecting some abrasions. The bathrooms were straight out of the 60’s, reflecting state of the art finishes and fixtures, from 60 years ago. The beds however were very good, allowing us to sleep well at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful, offering some waterpark passes and comped breakfasts when I brought the many deficiencies to their attention. The waterpark however was closed for 5 of our seven days that we stayed, as was the bowling alley, and many restaurants. Staffing issues. The pools were nice, especially in the recent heat-wave, but the furniture around the pool was pretty disgusting. Between the worn and filthy lounge chairs, and rotted wood decking covered with nail heads sticking up, you had to be careful. We enjoyed our stay, despite the aforementioned issues, but overall could only muster a rating of “Disappointing.” $250 a night (3k total - 2 rooms) was not a bargain when all was taken into consideration.
I love it being right on the lake. I like the food at the different restaurants.
Nice la e to hold meetings. very helpful.
The property is old, but has been remodeled. I think the place is way way over priced !!!! It bothered me that the room didn’t have a microwave. And I guess you only get housekeeping if you ask for it !! In my opinion this Margaritaville resort doesn’t compare to other ones I have been to.
Loved the pools, bars, fun atmosphere and Landshark restaurant. Hated that most amenities are only open or available on Friday through Sunday.
The rooms are paper thin. Could hear noise in adjoining room all night. Could hear noise in the hallways and upstairs. Heard resort speakers playing music all night. I stayed for a night of rest and did not get any. It was absolutely disappointing.
Loved our vacation here. Came here to relax and have a great weekend. We enjoyed horseback riding, awesome nachos at the land shark, relaxing in the sun, our room view was awesome. No complaints. Love All the activities available and food options.
Check in service was really nice. At first we was amazed how cool the place was and how it something we never had been too. We notice all the places to eat but weird thing is you don’t know if is open or close. We booked a boat fireworks cruise the booking had said appetizer on the boat but it was false advertisement because, all they had was peanuts and lays chips. They did have beer. The only bat open late was the tiki hut I’ll say is okay but is so under staff with just 2 bartenders serving over 150 people. First day and night was great. We had asked a lady that was cleaning a nice restaurant dinning what are the our the next day person said all restaurants in the resort are closed for the season except land shark and JB boathouse are open. Keep in mind is not on the booking or front desk service said anything about that. We loved that they had a pool bar. It was a good place to chill but closed at 6pm. We dint like how when we booked they said they all all the things open when we got to the place only on Sunday. For the next 2 nights we only got to eat breakfast and dinner over and over and over at the landshark service was little rude. All the workers where on the phones when we needed them we just saw them on the phones. We had an ant problem we call I was asking if we can be put in another room the guys just send a maintenance worker to spray. Also the walls are super thin and I mean it so if you have kids and are taking them please take ear plugs.
We were expecting the property to be updated and it wasn't. Cobwebs all over the room. A bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling. Lots of stairs. The pools were nice.
Surprisingly family friendly. Could still use some updating but nice to be resort style and have everything there for you. Rooms are spacious but bathroom was very small, couldve allocated the space better
