Social Distancing hmmm. It seems like it is an excuse to not have rooms cleaned and beds made daily. Daily maid service should be done unless a customer states they do not want it. Check tv remotes. Our bathroom smelled of urine. Clean the bathroom at JB's boathouse.Get a service provider to stream music in the rooms.

I liked all of the amenities the hotel has to offer, big rooms, nice views. Expected the hotel to be a bit more updated being a Margaritaville, rooms/bathrooms need to be updated. Several of the games in the arcade were out of order. Staff was mostly friendly except one older gentleman...asked him how to get to our room from the lobby (as it is big and quite confusing) and treated me like I was a moron.

Breakfast buffet was not very good. Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and biscuits and gravy were basically what you get at the holiday inn for free. They did have sweet breads, fruit, waffle and omelet bar. Waffle was the best thing I had. Stick with that stuff.

Ac in room didn’t work. No apology from the staff. They were completely booked! Spiders in the room. Cob webs everywhere. No fire escape plan in the room. Bad place.

Cleanliness, decor, staff was very helpful. Quietness.

The area was beautiful and all the employees were great. They went oit of the way to make our stay perfect.

Water park was not included and is a extra charge. Waterpark is mot worth $17 a head.

Solid if a bit dated, has amenities and right on the lake though.

Hotel itself was great. Indoor hot tub was in bad shape and needs cleaning. Pool was being cleaned by robot in mornings but never finished the job. Since remodeling is being done maybe the indoor hot tub will be among the next things. Also vents in indoor pool look like they haven't been cleaning for years same way with ceiling fans. Kinda disappointing when you pay such a high price for your stay. Also shower head barely has enough pressure to wash soap off. View from our room was great though!

Great place and getting bigger! Has a lot of fun activities for everyone.

Best and only good hotel in the area, that I know of. It’s the nicest hotel property and one of the oldest still functioning hotels at the lake. Most of the others have closed. The double king bed rooms are very large, huge even, and have been recently updated. The room was even better than the dated picture on the website. Lots of things on site to do and it looks like more things on the way with a new restaurant located at lakes edge being built right now.

Lots for the kids to do. There was some construction going on near the pool, but it didn’t affect us. There were also quite a few people who were drunk and obnoxious, which I don’t remember from our last time.

Upon arrival there was hair all over bathroom floor like it hadn’t been cleaned in months you couldn’t even walk into bathroom or mirror area without shoes on, was greeted with multiple spiders in the room, shower head had no water pressure could barely get hair wet. Overall this room was extremely disappointing just felt dirty sleeping in the bed. Will not b returning.

A lot activities to do here. Facilities are dated but very clean and friendly environment to stay.

Rooms are old and outdated. I dint know they still made 25 inch flat screen TVs. Water in sink comes out cloudy.

Went in late October during the week. Most of activities were unavailable to us. Would choose a different time of year to visit,

Enjoyed my short stay at Tan tera.Plan on going back with couple more friends. Water park was perfect for my 6 yr old daughter and she also enjoyed the outdoor mini golf. We took the boat out from the facility's marina,, and had our takeaway lunch on the boat, kids enjoyed that alot.

Terrible check in experience. Waited 3 1/2 hours for a room.Management was non-existent. I loved lake of the Ozarks and will be back, but not at Tan-Tar-A.

We had trouble getting the key card to work on our door. The door had a one inch gap all around it letting in light and a few flies. The air conditioner was loud and leaked water on the carpet. The room above us had a leaky air conditioner that leaked all over our balcony that we couldn't use. The tv reception was bad on some channels and couldn't get a signal at all on NBC. We are both pretty fit for being around 70 years old, but the stairs were getting to be too much everywhere we went. The view was good. The golf course was nice. The pool area was also pretty nice.

Bryan, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments about your recent stay with us on Orbitz. We do not include the indoor water park in our rooms rates for several reasons. Not everyone that stays here is interested in going to our water park, therefore, we feel it is best not to include the price in our rates. We hope your stay at the Lake of the Ozarks was otherwise enjoyable and hope to see you back some day.
