The room was clean, other than hair in the tub.. Because of the older feel of the hotel and such it just felt "dirty" and was hard to get comfortable at first. The bed was comfortable and the sheets seemed to be clean so that's a plus. The lake view was really nice, although we could see the pool from our room and definitely wouldn't have gotten in from the looks of it. Checking in was quick, but there was a guy sitting there who didn't even look up. Checking out the workers were pretty friendly.. For the prices charged for the rooms, I think they could do some improvements.. The heater cover in the hallway was basically laying on the floor.. The hotel right next door only charges $70 a night and I'm guessing it's a comparable facility. It didn't help we stayed at a Drury in the night before in KC and only paid $20 more for the room and got free evening snacks, breakfast in the morning, and good coffee with a clean facility to top it off..

When we arrived we were met by the Bell hop who was absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful. His name is Chris from Jamaica he's the best thing going for this hotel.Upon going to our room Chris carried all our things for us.When we got to our room as we looked out to see the pool it was so nasty! It was green, cloudy just gross absolutely not able to swim in although people were? In my opion it should of been shut down! It stayed this way my whole entire stay! I spoke to the hotel staff about it but was just told they cleaned it? I feel jipped ! Really wanted to relax by pool during my stay.

Upon arrival we noticed the lobby was remodeled and has uneven tiles. However the rooms are dated, musty and have mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The hot tub was dirty green. The food was not hot. Rooms not cleaned, bed not made, no towels, soap or coffee after the first night. TV control was missing. Went to the front desk. They gave us one that was taped together. We were locked out of our room. A master key was used to get us in but no one brought us new keys. We must acknowledge Chris who greets everyone with a pleasant welcome and is there to help when needed.

My husband and I were in Lake of the Ozark's for a convention and stayed at the Grand Glaize for the first time. The first room we had was clean but there was something going on with the ceiling and we could hear every single word our neighbors said all evening and night. I wrote a review about our check in and included that, and the hotel saw it and moved us to an upgraded room! Thank you! We slept really well the second night.

It was quiet and comfortable. Things a little outdated and worn, but staff was nice and things were clean.

Hotel run down, dirty& staff not willing to accommodate

You pay so much for room n u have to pay for breakfast no free breakfast other than that hotel was okay!

It was a good time but our view was horrible. It was a wall!!!!!

I was there for fishing tournament. had a lot of friends involved. enjoy my room, being on the main floor was nice. with a reception going on with music my room was kind of quiet.

The hotel is located in a nice area over viewing the lake, it has a pool and a marina down the hill, and the rest of hotel facilities are uphill, could be inconvenient. The facilities are clean and nice, but the decor is outdated, very friendly staff. The bar and restaurant area are small, they have a balcony area where you can enjoy your meal and a nice fireplace. Breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about. A small refrigerator inside the rooms could be handy, they only have blow dryer, iron/ironing board and a coffeemaker. The price was average, if I ever go back to Osage Beach area I would stay there again.

When we walked into the lobby it reeked of smoke from the adjacent restraunt.my wife and i both use c-pap machines for sleep apnia and we had to unplug the lamp and the clock because there was only one outlet on the wall by the bed.the toilet stopped up.just not a very good experience the lnn at grand glaize is outdated.

This location was beautiful with a great view. The room was nice with everything you need, including a fridge. There were some details to cleanliness that keep this from being 5 stars, such as dust, and there was a hole in the sheets. Otherwise, great place to stay and great price for the off season. :)

I asked for a handicapped accessible room. The room we were given had NOTHING handicapped accessible. If you require it do not stay at the facility.

We stayed during Labor Day Weekend and it was very noisey. Doors kept slamming and kids were up jumping in the bed next door and you could here them clear. Other than that and the hotel needing a bit of a face lift (new wallpaper, updated bathrooms, and updated sauna and jacuzzi area), it was fine. Staff was pleasant.

convenient to other activities like lake and shopping

Arrived at the hotel early and was not surprised room wasn't ready as check-in was not till 4. At 4 the room was STILL not ready so reception advised that they would call us as soon as it was. At 4:40, I went to the desk to inquire why it was taking so long only to be told the room was ready. When I asked why no one had called, the young man at the desk informed me that the woman who had asked for my cell number had gone home. The hall leading to our room was filthy and littered with debris. Once in the room we found the moldy walls and broken fixtures.

Awesome place to take the family. Everything was real close by. So didn't have to travel so far.

Eventhough this is a summer vacation area it was a great visit. The inn was quiet and restful. The view was fantastic.

For $55. A night was not bad for peaceful enviroment.

The price was right for being the of season. However, since this is a seasonal tourist destination many of the amenities were not avaliable.

We strive to keep our guests happy and understand your disappoint with the condition of the pool. Our pool pump failed us this week and was repaired on Thursday.

Unfortunately the pool pump failed this week. We have replaced the pump as of Wednesday and the pool is operational now. I'll share your compliments with Chris! We are very proud to have him on our team here!

I am so glad we got this taken care of for you and that you were happy with your stay and slept well in new room. As part of renovation we are looking at taking care of some of the ceiling issues. Hope we see you again sometime soon.
