Highly recommend this place. The room is clean and comfy and you can’t beat the price. The hot breakfast is also really good. Not just cold cereal. Hotel is centrally located to restaurants and highway. We will definitely be coming back.
We stay here every time we head out to California, because after driving for 12 hours, we know we will get a warm reception from the staff, and a CLEAN,COMFORTABLE room. This time we were pleasantly surprised to find the room completely renovated with comfortable furnishings and a walk-in shower, which was a bonus since my wife just had her knee replaced. The staff, including the lady who worked the breakfast room, the man who was picking up outside, and the ladies behind the checkout counter, and even the manager, made us feel like we were the most important people in the hotel!
Very convenient location, price was right and very clean. Breakfast was the usual but good and breakfast area was kept clean and there was plenty of room to sit. We were on the top floor facing Texas Roadhouse and were not bothered by any noise even though both the hotel and the restaurant were on the main road. I would recommend this hotel.
Nice staff, easy check in, clean and convenient. On the down side; small lounge, small indoor pool, cheap furniture, hard beds, horrible pillows. Being right on Rangeline, you hear traffic all night long. The A/C was on and off. This hotel is a higher end two than a three. More like a motor inn than a Marriot caliber hotel.
My stay went over and above my expectations. From Check In to Check out, the experience was outstanding. The full-time staff were professional, knowledgeable and were genuine in ensuring my stay was a success. The Fairfield Associate responsible for the breakfast set up took pride in her job, the breakfast exceeded that I have had at other Marriott Properties. Thank You for the opportunity.
I traveled in July 2017 and stayed in Room 208. This is a good room to stay in because there is only one shared wall and it is on the tv side of the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the television had a good channel selection. Overall, the room seemed clean enough. I did not experience any road noise in this room. The bathroom was a problem though. There is only one light in the bathroom and it is located in a corner by the door and it is not located over the sink part of the vanity. It also does not project any light into the room at all. Secondly, there is no tub in the bathroom. If I had been traveling with babies or children, this would have been a real problem as there would have been nowhere to bathe them. I overheard another guest saying the same thing at breakfast the next day. So if you have children, make sure to request a room with an actual bathtub in it. Breakfast was nicely done.
Very clean, comfortable rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Evonne the Breakfast Lady really knows how to lay down a breakfast buffet - good food and very attentive service. The cookies were awesome. We were in Joplin for a funeral and these folks helped give a difficult day a really good start.
very standard hotel, however the staff was nicer than average and the location is very good, right next to a Ruby Tuesday across the street from a Starbucks, there is a liquor store next to the conoco station and there is another bar across the road called old chicago not to mention the Sonic next door, have fun
My husband and I stayed one night in the hotel. We were in town so I could run the memorial half marathon. We stayed here because they had a shuttle that was running from our hotel to the starting line. The staff was very accommodating. They set breakfast up early so us runners could eat before the race that stared at 6:30am. Check out wasn't until noon. This gave me time to run. Come back and shower before heading home. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was a good variety. I really likes the eggs and cheese. It made a great sandwich.
The lady who check me in was wonderful, she was the GM. Angie on the afternoon shift took care of every need and question with great professionalism and care. The heard housekeeper was also helpful at check in. The lady who checked me out was great too. I wrote down all of their names but I lost it, sorry. I work in customer service and this is the best that I have seen front an entire staff in a long time. Very clean hotel also!!
