When I booked this hotel I was not notified about a $200 deposit. My son and I spent the day at the beach and arrived at the hotel at about 6 PM to check in. Upon check-in a man came to check me in and that’s when I was notified about a $200 deposit that would be returned to me once I checked out. I actually had a panic attack because I didn’t know about the $200 deposit and I had to go and figure if I had enough money to cover that plus the cost of my expenses and to go home. I went to my car and called Orbitz to see if I could cancel the room since they wanted so much money for it but they would not allow me to cancel it. I went back inside and they would not allow me to cancel the room. I went back inside and was obviously crying, the young lady at the desk laughed and called for the other man to come help me again. They were both very rude and unprofessional. I went ahead and paid the $200 deposit because I was stuck with nowhere to go and just hoped that I had enough money. I I am now four business days from checking out and there is still no return on my deposit. I called my bank and my bank says that they are holding it until August 1 when I checked out on July 26. I have called the property in Fort Walton Beach and the young lady that I spoke to put me on hold when I told her that the banks said that CS are holding it she put me on hold and left me there for 10 minutes until I finally hung up and called her from my sons phone. no answer I called her back from my phone
Room was amazing but no housekeeping even when I requested it twice. Morning shift lady was rude and didn’t really care to listen
In all fairness, the fact that this hotel was being renovated was made very clear on the website, and that was fine. The problems started in my room, which looked okay, but wasn't. Issues as noticed: 1. The wall switch inside the door to turn on the light: no light fixture in place, just the framework for one. So you had to walk in and switch on the bathroom light to see. 2. Three lamps in room: bedside table, desk, free standing. None were plugged in, but it didn't matter because there were NO LIGHT BULBS in any of them!!! Which is why the bathroom light had to be used. 3. Walked down to the desk to get bulbs because there was NO PHONE!! Seriously. No phone in the room, and no clock either. When I went to the desk and told them what was going on, I got a look like I was making it up. Yes, that's what I do. 4. Had packets to make coffee/tea in my room, just no coffee maker. Front desk girl didn't buy that either. Guess I steal light bulbs and coffee makers. She could "try to find one", told her not to bother. 5. Found out the next morning that the blow dryer didn't work. It was attached to the wall, so it couldn't be moved. Walked down to the desk again, (no phone), and got the look again, and was told that they had none, but would "let me go into another room and use one". Seriously. I know this is lengthy, sorry, but it was also ridiculous. Hands down the worse experience with a hotel ever.
The staff was nice, but the room was FILTHY. The carpet was dirty and stained. The bathroom wasnt cleaned. The blanket had stains on it.
Excellent location, 10 minutes from the beach. Good breakfast.
Enjoyed our stay. Check in and check out was fast and easy and friendly. I will use this hotel again the next time I’m in town.
Hotel is a very nice place, close to everything. We stayed 2 nights and service did not clean our room. Most disappointing
The room had issues. The bathroom fan did not function. The shower head brand was good but the water flow was not. The carpet felt damp to walk on throughout the room. The carpet was not spongy but very wet by the head of the bed located near the bathroom. Our clothes felt damp. The usual amenities of toiletries and coffee were hit and miss in stock/replenishing. The only good thing was that the beds were comfy. This room was not worth the price paid. Since the booking was done online no offer of reduction of the charge was made by the front desk for the two night stay.
Comfortable room. Free breakfast in the morning available. The room walls was dirty. The staff was unprofessional.
I was in FWB for a rehearsal - I live 6 hours away and drove in the night before and stayed at the Comfort Inn. The location was perfect, just around the corner from the rehearsal site at a local church. The room was on the 4th floor and had high ceilings - nice. Everything was very clean and smelled nice. The room had a microwave and refrigerator that we did not use. We could not hear the TV very well. I think the TV was restricted to a low volume, so we read our books. I thought the bed was a little hard and sloped to the middle, but my husband thought it was just fine. It was a nice, quiet room with a nice view toward the beach. I would probably stay there again if I go back to that area.
The room was very clean and the staff was pleasant. It's not far from the airport (VPS) or Hurlburt field and it was pretty close to the bridge to Okaloosa Island. I'd stay here again.
Our stay at the comfort inn & suites was excellent. We had great service and our room was nice and clean.
Not where or as advertised. Checked out the next morning and I want refund for the second night since we had to move to another hotel.
Pleasant stay super clean rooms.
