Staff was wonderful. Property needs new carpet and a major refresh. Tub and sink had been chipped and repaired. Seams showing on carpet and rows of thread missing. Jets didn’t work in hot tub. No elevator so book 1st floor fir no stairs.

Older hotel, but very clean, very well taken care, of everything was great. Could not have slept better at night. The bed and the linens were extremely comfortable.. No, if the coffee maker in the room was k cups. The breakfast in the morning was breakfast Sandwiches, waffles, muffins,cereal etc. Stayed 4 nites while seeing the sites. Great stay!

Room was quiet and clean. Staff were very helpful and available. Location was nice since it is right on the river/canal. Pool was decent as was the sauna. Breakfast options were on the weaker side - almost kind of disappointing to be honest, but good places near by to get a good breakfast. The whirlpool jets were out of order so that was kind of a bummer. Not that I needed it since it is just 2 floors, but there is no elevator.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Ramada. Even though it is in Hancock, it is a very quick walk into downtown Houghton as well. The staff was amazing! I was also impressed with the variety of items that were served for breakfast. I will return to this hotel if we stay in Houghton/Hancock again.

I always stay here snowmobiling. Went in summertime with family and it was great. Beautiful view of Houghton and the bridge. Very clean and quiet. Only bad thing was the children near the pool. (Related to guy behind the counter) doing cannon balls into the hot tub and just running around lawless.

The Ramada was beautiful and the staff was amazing. The problem was that I booked the the stay through Hotels.com and couldn't get the discount when there was a slight problem with the room. The whirlpool bath didn't work and the jets in the pool hot tub didn't work. The staff did everything that they could but to no avail. The clerk tried everything she knew to help but couldn't. This was because I booked through Hotels.com. Hotels.com needs to address this and I would like a response that I know won't happen. Yeah to Ramada by Wyndham, boo to Hotels.com.
