Do not stay here!!! Your money will be better spent at another local hotel with similar pricing. Here are my reasons to justify this rating. The management of this place is shady. When we arrived we had to sign a waiver saying we wouldn’t be loud, party, and wouldn’t trash the room, etc. I had no problem signing it, but it led me to question why? It seems to be that they have a problem with that frequently. I saw in other guests’ reviews of this place that the construction workers who are working on renovating this place have parties in their room at night. The first night we stayed here there was blaring music next to our room at 5 AM. We couldn’t sleep, so we filed a noise complaint. It was turned low for a little bit. But soon after, they raised the volume back up. On the second night, we randomly get a call at 3 AM to see if we checked out of our room, which doesn’t make any sense because we booked our room for two nights, and I have never been at a hotel which does this. Putting some details together, I wouldn’t be surprised if it were the construction workers calling random rooms to find empty rooms to party in because the person who called was with “housekeeping” apparently. And the front desk workers said that housekeeping doesn’t start until the morning around 5 and 6. The positives were continental breakfasts, and very friendly front desk workers, but this doesn’t make up for the poor experience.
Hot tub was closed. They were renovating. Felt humid in room. Can kept on going on and off to frequently.
It was an old lodge converted into a Best Western Plus, so we had an outside door to our unit and that was very handy for coming and going, gave the unit a more AirBnB feel.
Rooms were nice but smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The hotel staff also did not come to clean the rooms when we were gone and left the door sign out but that wasn't a big deal. The bed was comfortable and the front desk was happy to make suggestions on places to visit.

I thought it would be fun to take the grandkids to a hotel to use the pool on a dreary March weekend and we were NOT disappointed. The room was clean and updated, and the complimentary breakfast was the best I’ve seen but it was the Staff and service that put this stay over the top. From check-in to check-out, everyone was so friendly, professional, and attentive to our needs. The pool and hot tub area was great with lots of seating and very clean. The water temp was perfect and there was a fresh towel on every chair. Every ½ hour or so, someone came through to check on things, offered mini bottles of water and refreshed the towels. The attention to detail was impressive and we could not have been more pleased.
Nice hotel for the money, good for a one night stay. In the middle of everything you could possibly need and easy to get to.
Good safe ,clean location, great service desk, business center , fitness center and pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good for pets. Lobby with water bottles, hot hand towels, fruit and snacks.
The service was top notch. The breakfast in the morning was the best 'free hotel' breakfast I have ever experienced. The staff was super accommodating and the moist towlettes at the end of the meal made it very memorable. Thank you.
Loved the heated pool! The staff is super helpful and friendly! Rooms were clean and comfy and fairly quiet. Highly recommend!
Very friendly staff. They could use to have DVD players in rooms for the kids. Not very many kids channels on cable. Otherwise everything was great.
They take dogs which was our primary reason for stopping. Rooms were acceptable and clean. Seemed like nice new carpet. Bathrooms a little worse for wear.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay for 3 nights. The staff was cordial, yet professional. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I am quite picky. The linens and towels were also better than expected. Breakfast was a pleasant selection with great coffee! I will certainly stay there again.

Positives - king suite was a nice size. Room was very clean and did not smell like dogs had been there previously. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was very nice. Kids loved the pool. Negatives - air conditioner unit was not well placed to keep the full suite at an even temp. Had to blast it on 64 degrees to keep the suite cool, and sleeping next to it at that temp was pretty chilly! Other oddity - lights are motion-activated, including in the bathroom, which is odd. Lights went out during showers. Overall, positives greatly outweighed the negatives. I would stay here again for sure.
