We stayed here as part of a large group of Toyota XRunner owners. Online reservations were difficult. The hotel’s website is dated and would not accept the group rate. A phone call was required to reserve room at the special rate. The suite was very nice, clean, and modern. My only complaint with the room is the design which puts the bathroom opening directly into the sleeping area which I found a little odd. Breakfast is complimentary and great with eggs, sausage, waffles, coffee. There is a patio area with grills and firepit, although the firepit is inoperable. When our group inquired about utilizing the patio area in the evening for socializing the desk clerk was rather obnoxious toward our host taking a tone in cautioning him against loud or disruptive behavior that was reminiscent of a principal addressing a group of HS students on a field trip rather than a group of Toyota owners in their 30’s/40’s. Other than that, staff was very pleasant and accommodating. There is an Italian restaurant across the parking lot and a coffee shop just a little further away so there are several eating choices within walking distance. Overall- great place to stay.

I booked this hotel with my Mariott points and stayed two nights. I arrived late on the first day and was given a room whose door had a problem. It did close, but there was some security issue with it. Anyway, the receptionist tried to find me another room, but the hotel was full and I had to stay in the room allocated to me. Following his advice I talked to the day receptionist in the morning, and since it was Sunday, there was nobody to fix the door, so she arranged for me to receive another room when I return in the evening. Furthermore, I was compensated for the trouble. The hotel is located conveniently and in a quiet spot. This is a suite in the sense that it has a small kitchen. However, the rest of it is more like a room. It is small and very efficiently arranged. Unfortunately, the breakfast area is also tiny compared to other hotels I stayed with. On Sunday morning it was a problem, since the hotel was full and it was very crowded in the breakfast space and hard to find a place to sit. The following morning, when the hotel had fewer guests, I was eating alone and of course, the small space was not a problem.

Really nice place near many nice places and restaurants. The room design and amenities were nicely done. Next to Bass Pro Shop!!! I would recommend this place to anyone. I will stay here again. Very close to shops etc

This hotel is next to the Harrisburg Mall, and it has many restaurants within a short distance. In addition to the good location. the hotel has a pleasant staff and very modern amenities and furnishings. I will be back when in Harrisburg.

We are Gold members for Marriott and always are treated well, we expect a clean place and helpful staff but we were pleasantly upgraded to a bigger suite when we arrived. They always have fresh coffee in the lobby and the breakfast is always good! So happy to have a Marriott hotel at the end of a day!

Pros: The staff is very knowledgable, accommodating, and friendly! The hotel is only about 22 minutes from Hershey Park and Giant Stadium. Free Wi-fi! Snack shop! Free coffee! I think there may be a laundry room and business center, but check the hotel website to be sure. Cons: In the two bedroom suite, there is only one bathroom (would have been nice to have a trash can in each room as well). You cannot completely open the refrigerator/freezer doors in the kitchen. The pool is small and the jacuzzi only has jets in one corner instead of all sides. The exercise room only has maybe 2-3 pieces of equipment. The breakfast was not that great, but for free, it's better than nothing.

First of all Penny (asst general manager) is on point. Marriott needs her in so many other locations. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, super. Top notch. Our room was well designed and had lots of features for such in a small space. Sofas didn't take a lot of space but allowed us to sit without having to sit on the beds. Housekeepers were friendly and thorough. Breakfast was adequate but not amazing. The pool was kind of small, fun with few people but a zoo when the kids started piling in. Where are the parents to teach pool etiquette? Plenty of parking in front (instead of having to traipse around to the back 40 in the dark. Close to shopping mall (walking distance right across the street) but quiet and not much traffic.

Clean, convenient property and well staffed Hotel amenities are fantastic and priced appropriately Parking is a bit small and away from building, but access to interior is well spaced out across the property

The hotel is nicely maintained, the beds are comfortable, but the walls are paper thin. I can hear the entire conversation of the people staying above me. In addition, I am using the free wi-fi provided by the hotel that states it will allow me to check emails and other non-data heavy sites, but it is frustratingly slow and nearly impossible to use gmail, or google docs. This is more than disappointing in a hotel that is designed for extended business stay. You offer a $5 a day option for higher speed internet that touts it's for use with streaming, data heavy services, but I am frustrated that if I want any sort of decent low data consumption internet usage, even at 11pm when many guest are sleeping, I will be forced to give you more money. I will be choosing a different hotel with more reliable and effective internet in the future. You've lost hundreds of dollars of revenue over $15 of internet. I suggest you reconsider your business model.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a family trip to the Hershey area. This hotel is about 15-20 minutes from Hershey Park, so a bit of a drive, but with more reasonable rates than in Hershey itself. It is also right next door to a mall, which we ended up enjoying - took the kids to dinner and then a movie one evening. The room configuration works pretty well. With the sofa bed pulled out, it does touch the queen bed across from it, but you still have a relatively large floor area in front of it to move around in. There was also an interesting closet/passway between the door and the bathroom, which was relatively convenient for luggage and clothing storage. The pool wasn't large, but had a hot tub and my son enjoyed playing in it. Overall we were happy with our stay here and would definitely stay again.
