We enjoyed our stay here. The location was fantastic, and love the first floor and boardwalk. The only thing that turned us off and we couldn't stop talking about was the smell of the couch and chair. We couldn't enjoy sitting on the couch because it smelt very poorly.

Great Condo

Will stay again but BEWARE that the sliding door lock needs attention and I was locked out on the balcony and had to ask someone that was at the pool to come let me in! No potholders in the kitchen. Mattress and sheets are just okay, bath towels were brand new and left me covered in fuzz. There is a noise in the bedroom that I think is coming from the TV box, but the noise is easily drowned out by putting on your favorite YouTube sleep noise. Loved the chaise lounge and high top table on balcony! Loved how Vacasa texted me when the unit was ready (early) and gave me the option for a late check out (small fee)! Tidewater has upgraded the elevators since last year!

We stayed in the same unit last year. The things I reported that needed repaired still needed repaired. The range only had one burner that worked. Curtains on the sliding glass door were dirty and molded on the bottom. We liked Tidewater but not this unit.

Vacation Review

This was our first time staying in Orange beach - we love it! Great condo, clean with amazing view. Easy no hassle check in process. Couch pictured has been changed and isnt comfy, queen ben could be upgraded, curtains have mold on the bottoms, the outdoor lounge chair has mold all over the cushions and the oven door outter piece fell when openeing it and almost hit my shin - had to push the outter panel back into place. This is honest feedback and again we had a great time.

Could have been better....

Overall, the place was OK and enjoyed our stay; however, it was disappointing that not one of the previous concerns raised by other travelers in their reviews (months ago) had been fixed. I even contacted the property manager prior to my stay and said I was reconsidering staying there based on some of the reviews, but they assured me everything had been "taken care of." Well, that simply wasn't true and is an indicator that either the property manager didn't report it, or the property owner simply didn't want to spend a dime to repair the place. Here is a rundown of items mentioned months ago by previous travelers that have not been fixed or repaired: 1. Bi-fold doors in the closet and the washer and dryer are in need of repair 2. Broken stove door 3. A couple inoperable stove burners 4. The curtains covering the sliding doors had significant mold on the bottom 5. Creaky bed in main bedroom Additional items we noted during our trip: 1. Towels need replacement, they were not comfortable for use at all 2. Bed frame on left side of bed is significantly cracked and contributes to loud creaking noise when in bed. This is a safety hazard 3. The refrigerator appliance light is burned out 4. Ice maker does not work properly 5. Front of stove door fell off and almost landed on my foot, safety hazard 6. Sliding door to patio needs lubrication 7. Front door does not close properly, scary 8. Bunk beds covered in some plastic material A little TLC could make this spot a repeat stay.

Beds need to be replaced

The property was clean. Beds are horrible. No sheets for pull out. Had to request a frying pan. Laundry door was slatless at top of left door. Won't rent this property again.

Overall a great stay! Great View of the Gulf!

Our family of four stayed here comfortably. We loved the view of the Gulf from Tidewater #107. Overall, we had a great 4 night visit. The description of the place online had different furniture in the pictures, but it wasn't a big deal. The toilet ran constantly and was slow to flush, but it never got stopped up. The air filter & vent were filthy. It had not been changed since 3/10/22, but it may have been a 3 month filter. I made a call for a new filter and they came the next day. The cleaning service was decent, but it was subpar to my OCD standards. There were wrappers behind the night stand and lots of dust bunnies under the bed. I only knew this though bc I lost the back of my earring under the bed. The bed itself was pretty comfortable, but the sheets did not fit on the bed. My son loved the bunks. I can't see more than 4 people staying here comfortably even though it could sleep 6. The curtains covering the sliding doors had mold on the bottom - would definitely suggest updating those. The lounger outside on the balcony was stained and could use a new cushion. Also suggest getting a drain stopper for the bathtub for little kids who do not take showers just yet. None of these things were deal breakers and did not affect our stay one bit. For the prices of these condos, I would say these few changes I suggested are do-able.

Used to be great

We’ve stayed at the property about 10 times-I believe we’ve stayed in this same unit at least once. It was very well stocked as far as paper towels, trash bags etc. However the floor was filthy, the ice maker was broken, three out of four burners did not work, the shower curtain was a tripping hazard, the sliding glass door was very difficult to open, etc. It was definitely not the quality we were used to!

Advertised rates are misleading

The condo was very nice and in an excellent location. The total charges will be over twice the advertised rate and it is a whole lot more than just taxes.

Short stay

The condo was very clean and had what we needed. A bit smaller than we had expected. We did have a few issues though. 1st we were given the gate and condo codes to get in so no property manager involved. When we left to go to dinner we had a note from security on the car staying we needed a parking pass. That was never mentioned and no pass in condo 2nd, they were doing some maintenance on the condos in our section. So entering the condo there was some sort of motorized equipment right at the entrance. The bedroom was also there so each morning it started up by 8 am. On the balcony there were ropes connected to a platform used by window washers. When we got there workmen were on the balcony working and getting everything covered in white dust. They had moved the furniture so you could barely get out of the door. Had to wipe everything to be able to sit down One of the workers was still there and yelled to tell us they would be pressure washing the next day. So at 9 everything was wet on the balcony and stayed wet as they washed other units to. So we were not able to enjoy the beach views from the balcony. While we realize maintenance has to be done, a heads up would have been nice. We have been told at other properties when there would be work going on that might affect the stay. One other thing, they are building a parking structure next door. There was a sign on the elevator saying to avoid cement chips from hitting your car to park on the side away from the construction. It was just a lot going on in and around the condo that was not ideal for a relaxing stay.
