The big house was excellent beyond imagination. The motel type rooms were non inspiring. The front desk check in was very much a pleasing experience
We liked the architecture and landscaping-- extraodinary! The bed too tall for some handicapped person (like us), hard to sit comfortably.
We stayed in the suite upstairs in the house and loved it. Enjoyed exploring the whole house.
The hotel is built around a home from the 1800s and it’s carriage house. The hotel is beautiful. My room was spacious with a desk, king size bed, microwave and refrigerator. The shower was tiled and very large. This is not your average Best Western! The pool was just outside my door and appeared to be well cared for. There is a breakfast buffet in the mornings. There is also a bar at the hotel.
Nice stay. Only problem I had was the big, dead roach under the bathroom counter in my room.
Easy access, secure parking. FABULOUS complimentary breakfast.
Nice place, the house is georgous but breakfast was just barely ok, much better last trip. Will have to consider if this hotel is worth the extra cost next time.
The only thing with room was slow shower drain, otherwise I slept like a Baby, and the breakfast buffet was Great!!
