I arrived very early on Superbowl Sunday and it was great that my room was already available. Compliments to all staff for that! The hotel is conveniently located, rooms are well equipped and up to par with IHG standards. Service is good and personnel is friendly. All together a solid hotel when you are passing through the Anniston / Oxford area!
We were breaking a trip to Tennessee in early December 2017 on the blizzard weekend. Stopped here without reservations and were able to get a well appointed comfortable room. Service was impeccable, breakfast very good and the staff could not have been nicer.
While traveling at 1 a.m we found ourselves in need of an unplanned hotel. This hotel was phenomenal! The room was clean and the staff was wonderful, even at that time of the morning. The bed was comfy and nice, and the room spacious. The breakfast the next morning (complimentary) was by far one of the best I have ever seen. It went well beyond the typical breakfast you usually see at hotels including cinnamon rolls, hot pancakes, turkey sausage, and on and on. Outstanding hotel that I would stay at again and again.
Used 20,000 reward points to stay here. Big waste of points. Clerk had attitude, room has bad musty smell from dirty filter on older style ac unit. Room was right next to front desk/lobby so it was very noisy. Other clerk later that night acknowledged that there were unsupervised small kids in exercise room (she saw them on video) when I told her about them but she did nothing about it. Wife fell and got injured on treadmill and when I went back to look for her glasses, I found the kids had left the treadmill running at full speed with no one around. Used their reservation system to make our reservation and it was terrible. All people we talked to were foreign, all very hard to understand and we had to hang up and start over due to heavy accents. Will never use that reservation system ever again. This was the worst hotel we stayed at on our 6100 mile road trip and regret using our points here. What a waste.
We stayed here with our five kids on the way home from a long trip to the Coast. Checked in about 9:30 at night. Everything went smoothly, breakfast was good and there was plenty of room to sit. No complaints about this hotel. The kids swam in the imfoir pool for about an hour before we g or back on the road. Nothing fancy but fine for what we needed.
Overall good stay, decent hotel, friendly staff. The guest laundry area was disgusting. Looked as if it had never been cleaned, lint dust and dirt in layers, floor filthy, trash overflowing. Had to wash the washer before using, dryer coated with ink stains. I would stay here again but no laundering.
This hotel was a great and quiet place to rest after a long drive. The room was clean and updated with large TV and coffee pod maker. Has a n indoor pool, but never went to it. Breakfast was very good and coffee was just right. Nothing wrong especially with the low price .
ANNETTE worked hard and graciously to find a room for myself and my sister with the chaos of the Dixie Youth World Series participants swirling around the lobby. It had been a long day for us (lost for a long time in the wilds and coming very close to being hit by an idiot driving a flatbed truck) and ANNETTE and courtesy was a welcome relief! Room was very clean and everything worked. Full breakfast the next morning left us feeling ready to go
We spent one night here, clean, nice place, desk staff had our reservation all ready at check in, we got the type room as we requested, they made a recommendation for the evening meal, that was in walking distance and it was great. Great stay here, room was clean and quiet. We had a little problem with the wifi, but got it straightened out..
Terrific Staff that went above and beyond for our comfort. Annette at the reception desk and the maintenance man, "Brandon" looked to our needs during the entire stay. Our ice cream was misplaced but was quickly replaced even though they had to go to 3 stores to find the correct type. I would definitely visit again.
