We spent one night here, clean, nice place, desk staff had our reservation all ready at check in, we got the type room as we requested, they made a recommendation for the evening meal, that was in walking distance and it was great. Great stay here, room was clean and quiet. We had a little problem with the wifi, but got it straightened out..
Terrific Staff that went above and beyond for our comfort. Annette at the reception desk and the maintenance man, "Brandon" looked to our needs during the entire stay. Our ice cream was misplaced but was quickly replaced even though they had to go to 3 stores to find the correct type. I would definitely visit again.
Everyone involved with this hotel "Are The Bomb". The Manager Tammy goes out of her way to make sure he guests are well taken care of. The professional Front Desk ladies, Tye, Doris and Annette are super good at what they do. The Maintenance Technician Brandon keeps everything running in Tiptop condition and the House keeping ladies keep the whole place impeccably clean.
Had a brief stay for business. Spotlessly clean hotel - everything was clean and crisp. The room was large and comfortable, with all the usual amenities. Room was also very quiet. There is a generous continental style breakfast included that was hot and as with the room, the breakfast area was very well maintained. All the staff were very friendly - with many friendly greetings. I will stay here again when I am in the area !
To me, it seems this hotel is sliding backwards to some degree. Basic upgrades had been completed in the past, but upgrades need to continue. Staff is friendly, Breakfast offerings are getting to the point of less than desirable. Internet is very weak.
Here is another Holiday Inn Express that did everything right. The pool and hot tub were nice and warm and the room clean. I didn't think anyone could exceed expectations with the Holiday Inn Express. She did! The temperature of the food and coffee was perfect. She had restaurant experience and it showed.
After a nightmare flight with Delta, we decided to drive from Atlanta airport to Memphis with no luggage. We called Lance at the front desk twice to get directions and when we checked in he provided everything he could to make our stay as comfortable as possible, as we had nothing but the clothes we were wearing. He even let us borrow a phone charger and told us which stores were nearby. After a stressful day his kindness was much appreciated. Not to mention this is one of the best Holiday Inn's we've stayed in, the hotel is extremely clean and modern looking. We'd definitely stay again if we found ourselves in Alabama.
We were traveling to the Atlanta area and decided to stop for the evening. My wife made reservations for us online while we ate supper across the street. When we checked in, we were warmly greeted as IHG Rewards members and our reservations were in order. We reserved two rooms as we were traveling with our daughter and her family. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. We utilized the indoor swimming pool and spa, and found them clean and enjoyable. The next morning we visited the complimentary breakfast buffet and found a tasty assortment of eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereals, pastries, pancakes, and beverages. The property is very well maintained with ample parking, with easy access back to I-20. If you're looking for overnight accommodations in the Anniston/Oxford area, I highly recommend this property!
I have not meet a nicer group of people. there housekeeping was outstanding. location close to restaurants and shopping. breakfast was vey good .front desk was very accomating. will use on my next trip.
I had a long drive from Charlotte NC to Anniston/Oxford AL on my 65th birthday, July 2nd. I arrived early (before check-in) and was greeted with a very refreshing Ty, the receptionist. I asked her if I could check in early and she asked me to have a seat so she could check to see if any rooms were ready. A few minutes later, she called me to the desk to advise me that a room was ready and handed me the key. I was so relieved, because I was dog tired. The room was big, roomy and comfortable, and the Continental breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious. I will definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.
