Everyone was very nice they spoke to you when you canme in and made you feel welcomed0

Upon check-in I found out the hotel was hosting a college football team the first night of my stay. As such, I ended up in a handicapped accessible room - which is not what I booked. Aside from the leaning television with the broken base and the balancing act required to not completely soak the bathroom floor when showering, the room was ok. The next morning the staff was more than happy to let me change my room. I cleared out of the hotel around 10am that morning, visited a few nearby cities, called the hotel to confirm our room was ready around 3pm, then returned for the day around 6pm. I retrieved my new room key from the front desk but quickly found my new room had not been cleaned. There was trash laying around from the previous guests as well as missing bed linens and pillows thrown all over the floor. I returned to the front desk and was given another room. The new room clean and accommodating. Aside from what appeared to be a small ant issue and a couple of broken fixtures, the room was fine. The staff was nice, the hotel does have a nice bistro area and is in a good location...although the highway that runs behind it can be a bit noisy if you have a balcony in your room.

They let team run through halls as workout and didn't make up our rooms. Arrrggghh

Great for the money. clean, convenient , staff was helpful. We will stay here again next year when we come back for the Ice bowl at Talledega short track.

No problems great work trip! Would recommend to anyone!

The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when in the area.

This was a nice hotel. Overall it was a very pleasant place to stay. My wife and I booked one of the rooms with the king size bed. The room and bathroom were clean and decorated nicely. The staff was nice and courteous. A breakfast option is available for only $10 more per night and it is cooked to order. Premium name brand (SB) coffee is available for very reasonable prices (less than any other place I've been) or you can choose the hotels brand for free. Several dining options are nearby. A few within walking distance and several others within one mile. My only gripe (albeit minor) was that I had booked a "smoking" room and upon check-in found that this hotel is smoke free, meaning that there are no smoking rooms. This needs to changed on this site to reflect this.

Staff was very helpful. 4 hotels in 6 days, this was the best

The first thing we noticed was the fecal matter on the toilet seat. My wife dealt with that with a Clorox wipe. There was also a piece of trash in one of the trash cans. The room wasn't fresh by any means. We had requested an "easy access" room. I think the only accommodation was the bars in the bathroom. The room was on the top floor as far from the elevator as it could be. We certainly won't be booking there again, and don't recommend it to anyone else.

Check-in was easy. Employees were efficient and very helpful. I only stayed one night, but when I'm in the area, I will stay at Courtyard by Marriott in Oxford.. Thanks to Obbitz I got a great rate.

Thank you for being our guest and for taking time to review your stay. Please accept my apology for the problems you encountered. You deserved a comfortable and stress-free stay, and we did not live up to your expectations. Our staff obviously failed to provide our customary attention to detail in preparing your room before your arrival, and, again, I sincerely apologize for the oversight. Your concerns are being shared with management and with each team member responsible for the room you occupied. We hope you will consider giving us another chance so we can make a much better impression. Best wishes, Jedd McConnell
