ROOM WAS DISGUSTING. Clerk at the front desk was rude while checking us in. Had no emotion or sympathy for travelers. Got to speak with the GM and was rude and obnoxious. Never will stay here again. Had to stay here because of power being out in my area. Ruby Tuesdays was nice next door. But my Husband and i will never stay here again.

Was directed to stay at this hotel as part of a group sporting event. Upon arrival was greeted by a very pleasant male clerk, Augie. Check in was quick and courteous. Once to the room, the card keys would not open the doors (room 305 and 307). A loud noise was heard and a naked women, barely wrapped in a towel comes running from a room down the hallway. We quickly returned to the front desk with the non-functioning key, informed clerk about woman. Then, we return and enter the room. The lights would not turn on. The room had a "funky" odor. The bathroom light did turn on, which is when we viewed much disarray with light fixtures hanging from the ceiling and wires exposed from the wall outlet. As we were returning back to the front desk .... Here comes the naked lady AGAIN! While my young children found this rather amusing, I was tired after driving over 4 hours and did not feel the hotel was safe or suitable to stay in. I did ask the clerk to leave, showing him the pictures and condition of the room. He did state a refund would be issued. I did get a refund, HOWEVER another charge appear on my credit card today. So make sure you review your credit card statement! I just spoke to a manger about this who was cooperative with (hopefully) rectifying the issue. I usually do not provide negative reviews, but feel others should be aware of this bad experience...when making the reservation, I was told this was a new property and the website is very misleading. I left this hotel at a late evening hour and had to pull into a gas station to find other suitable accommodations in an unfamiliar area. Luckily, I found another hotel nearby and could complete my sporting event without further issues.

Our bed was comfortable, room size was adequate, but we heard a good bit of noise during the night from load talking from other guests in the hall during the night. The drain in our bathtub was very slow. The breakfast service was minimal, juice dispenser was out of service, decaf coffee was old, and ice water container was empty. However, the room rate was reasonable and the front desk seemed courteous and responsive to our comments as we checked out.

I stayed there 12/19/2016 on business. My room was clean, the wifi was good, not great. Lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom. The desk clerk was a very personable fellow. The breakfast was superb! Sausage gravy and fresh biscuits, scrambled eggs, they also has a waffle maker and all the usual fare. I could not have been happier.

We stayed here Oct 5-6 and actually were very pleased with the room and bed. We did notice stains on carpets in the room and hall. Our main problem is a fall I had on leaving. The rubber mat on the step was overhanging a bit and the toe of my shoe caught it. Down I went- breaking an arm and hurting ligaments in my knees. We made out a report at the front desk and guests who witnessed this also gave their information. Repeated calls to management have been ignored though we've tried several times. No compassion, no response and no compensation.

Stayed at this hotel on October 9th and 10th, 2016. The hallways and rooms smelled like stale smoke, even though it was marked non-smoking.. The desk chair and the couch in the room were worn and gross. The carpets were dirty and the bathroom was questionable. The place was disgusting. The first room we went into did not have a hairdryer, went to the desk to ask about that and they said they have to count the hairdryers each day because people steal them. They moved our room instead of giving us a hairdryer. On Tuesday when we were getting ready to leave we took some stuff out to our car and the keycard would not work so we could get back in to get our suitcase. Check out time is noon and it was only 10:30 a.m. and our key was deactivated. Went to the front desk and they had to reactivate our key so that we could check out. I told the front desk about the smelly room and they said that they would contact the management and let them know. I have never heard from them. Do your self a favor and DO NOT stay at this hotel. I know that I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and will not stay at a Clairon Inn either.

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious: waffles, fruit, cereal, muffins etc. I had lost my credit card but I called and they saved the last room for me; that is great customer service!!!! Beautiful area of Pennsylvania. Thank you Clarion for your kindness and creating a wonderful visit for my family.

The basement rooms smells funky and the floor felt damp! The AC really smelled terrible and the chairs felt grimmy! They moved us up stairs and the room smells much better and no wet floor! So I gave them a 3 cause for what we paid for and at least got to switch rooms!

Was late on that Friday night. Night guy was rude . While waiting for our dinner to arrive via delivery, He was very consistent on us leaving the lobby area . Very odd for a 24 hour lobby. Heard him on the phone with a friend , speaking another language and laughing , could have been talking about me or my children. The next day when i reported this to the front desk , the man working that morning was fantastic. You could tell that he has been here for awhile by the knowledge about the area and the hotel itself. He moved from front desk to breakfast area and talked with the guests and engaged us all in one big conversation. Never have i seen someone so comfortable to talk to everyone about on thing , like weather or their stay and what all the hotel had to offer. Even though we did not have the best of night there , my morning was started out right ! Reading the reviews on here is one of the best things that someone can do because the truth is here . Staff is wonderful ( Hunter - Front Desk Morning ) Night man was rude. Breakfast lady was no where to be seen other then smoking outside when women used the bathroom ( is behind the kitchen ) Very nice rooms. Hunter made our stay here and will do so more often . Very conviently located, Friendly staff, nice clean rooms and a buffet style breakfast all for a great price. They even put a small crib in the room prior to our arrival for our little one all for an amazing price! We will stay again on our next trip through
