Nice hotel and clean but could be cleaner if they want to attract more customers
It was very quite. The room air conditioner was turned off so it was very hot when we arrived.
Loved everything the staff was exceptionally great don't change a thing will definitely be back great place to rest after a long drive we came from Colorado
The property was just ok. It was a bit run down. No pool or anything. Breakfast was lacking

This is among the more affordable hotels in Galesburg. It's out by the mall, not in the center of town, but that's okay. The place is old and in need of refurbishment, but they're working on that, so it should be better in the next year. The Orbitz listing shows an indoor pool, but there is no pool. However, the hotel lets guests use the facilities of the nearby YMCA, which does have an indoor pool.
Three stars, I don't think so! Based on other hotels we've stayed at in this city, this place was effectively a dump in desperate need of a makeover--more like a razing and total rebuild. With the exception of the person that came to repair the toilet (REALLY?), the staff was fairly lame. Very disappointing, especially since it wasn't inexpensive. Obviously, we'll be very reluctant to use this travel site ever again.
This was the first time I stayed at a Quality Inn. My first impression of the place is the outside needs work and the front office/hallways reek of smoke (I believe old, dirty carpets). But I think they must have redone the bedrooms because my room was gorgeous. I stayed on the second level in a nonsmoking room. There was no bad smell, it was nicely decorated. Large flat screen tv with premium channels. Had microwave and mini fridge. Fluffy and soft towels, though they were on the short side. Perfect location - close to shopping, eating, and 34. And the a/c was great! The reasons I only gave 4 stars overall are: -bad smoke smell in front office & hallways -not enough parking -the employees were helping another customer and did not even say anything to me (no - i'll be right with you,etc) I will definitely be making a trip back!
