Our check-in process was GREAT! Since we arrived after office hours the staff communicated in detail how to access our unit. Upon arriving in the unit everything appeared organized and clean. Until we found dead roaches. We emailed management immediately and the first thing next morning we received a call. Pest Control came to inspect and spray the unit. Then OMG that's when we realized there was an infestation of roaches in our unit. They started crawling out of everywhere, including on the ceiling in the kitchen! Management was made aware both by peat Control and us. Unfortunately, there were no other units available for us to move into because they were completely booked and so were nearby hotels. I have to admit the staff was sympathetic and embarrassed by this. We were compensated for a portion of our stay for the inconvenience (definitely not enough was refunded), but we will do our due diligence next time and ask more questions, ask about their last deep cleaning, pest control service, and READ the reviews closer to our check-in dates. If you plan to stay in any condo unit, check to see if they're booked back-to-back for months. If so, they are not being thoroughly cleaned and inspected because there isn't enough time between morning check-outs and afternoon check-ins.

Destin Sterling Shores

The property was ok. Beach facing, beautiful location, have to cross the property to walk to beach, but can see the sea from balcony. The rooms were ok. The bunk bed in kids room was in horrible condition, was in very poor condition and wiggling even if you touch it. My kids were scared to ride on it. There was not sufficient kitchen towels and trash bags for 5 days stay. Rooms were clean. There were no hair dryers. Kitchen utensils were sufficient. Over all good stay and will recommend.

A great hotel to stay in Destin

Everything is perfect except the sink water runs too slow. I put three stars for the cleanliness because there’s no place to put star for the slow running water. I’m happy with the cleanliness. I love the location, the ocean view, the spacious and nice looking outdoor pool with great landscape. We will come back again.

Great location just come prepared

A group of us flew in from various states across the country. The location and property was great. The unit was nice. Only complaints would be there are no beach towels...don’t know why someone would expect people to fly in with those. The towels provided were one per person which is generally sufficient but not ideal for 6 women. The kitchen was not stocked well; had we been cooking daily we would have needed additional cookware. We had to buy extra toilet paper and there weren’t any cleaning supplies outside of dish soap and two dishwasher pods (which got caught up in the dishwasher leaving the dishes unclean). Overall it was comfortable enough, the view was great and the location was good. I personally prefer a rental that is more accommodating to folks who fly in and aren’t packing a suitcase full of supplies just to rent a condo.

Needs furniture upgrade and reliable elevators

The sofa and recliner chair were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and rather cheap, considering the rent I paid. One elevator didn't run for over 11 weeks.

Loved this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed the condominium. Very large master bedroom and a very spacious family room. The grounds and pool were extremely well kept. The beach of course was fantastic . Would definitely stay here again !
