Stayed coming back from Cedar Pt & b-4 going. All was good.

Room was typical of most hotels. Everything was clean, but when I first got into the room you could tell someone had smoked in it sometime in the past. The hotel was full by the time I checked in and could not get a replacement. However, the oder faded after about a minute. 3 days into a 5 day stay, someone was caught smoking in the hall and so you had smoke oder there as well. Hotel staff was apologetic about the issue but the fact that it happens indicates the cliental you can expect. Good location near the airport, breakfast was a bit sparse with only the minimal basics. Still the rate was good and as I said everything was clean. Would still recommend.

Spent one night enroute to Illinois. Hotel was fine. The complimentary breakfast had fewer menu items than I have encountered at other LaQuinta's I have stayed at. My wife did not like the coffee available with the breakfast. Again, the room was fine and the location was good.

One night stay, no problems. Needed a place to leave the car.

It is a bit out of the way but the facilities are great with lots of amenities within walking distance. I would certainly stay here again.

Clean and quite rooms with good access to area surroundings. There is a nice park nearby for morning strolls while my wife slept in. Also, no upcharge for our two Dachshunds.

Found visible blood spot on the bathroom floor, bathtub had hair and a dirt ring around it. Room wasn't vacuumed, we found debris on the floor.

Very nice staff. My room was clean and bed comfortable . The alarm clock did not work but other than that everything was fine. Wished the breakfast bar had some hot food - like a waffle maker but it was adequate.

I checked in very late during the night and the hotel attendant was very helpful and nice during the check-in process. The rooms were clean. The complimentary breakfast was good, too.

Restroom/shower fixtures could use updating but value, location, cleanliness, and overall quiet and comfortable sleep made up for any outdated looks. Security onsite in the evenings, breakfast just as good as any other chain. Easy parking and quick access to major roads/thoroughfares. Pleasant stay.

Very good, especially for the money. Room was clean, included a small breakfast, quiet and right next to a Wendy's if you're hungry.

The room was clean and the staff very good but the bed, which was supposed to be pillow top, was pretty much used up. The breakfast was okay but not near as good as other hotels. I would stay again if the circumstances were the same but not for pleasure.

The receptionist refused to honor my reservation. Once I arrived at the hotel after a 5 hour drive I was told by the receptionist that they didn't have a room for me. The only room they had was a single handicapped room. She blamed me for booking through a third party and not directly. After about 15 minutes of back and forth and when I said I am going to call my third party she came back to me and she gave me a room with no phone. The attitude of the hotel staff and the hotel is unacceptable. A night of fun at the concert for which we had gone to Detroit was preceded by an argument at the hotel. Which was not my fault. I am still furious with the way the hotel treated me.

The hotel was surprisingly pleasant. The Wifi and Breakfast were amazing. The rooms were very clean.

The staff was courteous, the room was clean, the location was close to the airport, the value was excellent, and a free breakfast. Nearby train passed by daily but not in the evening and was entertaining to see but could wake you up if you're napping. Water pressure was on the low side. Bed was large and a little on the firm side with lots of pillows. A pleasant experience overall.

Enjoyed a slight upgrade to king with a desk and sofa for an extended work stay. Made it more enjoyable to have a little extra room! Would do it again-

We stayed at the La Quinta while in town for a concert at the Fillmore Detroit. Good location. Friendly staff. Comfortable, clean room. Located in a nice area with easy travel into downtown or to the airport. A few fast food restaurants very close by, including one with 24 hour service. The free continental breakfast was decidedly average, but typical for this type of hotel. Coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator in the room was very convenient. Would stay here again without hesitation.

(1) The location was excellent: (a) it was far enough from DTW airport that jet noise wasn't an issue (unlike most airport hotels), but not so far that getting there required a long drive (b) it was a short drive away from a wide variety of restaurants in Southgate - most of which have decent reviews on online ratings websites. (2) Check in was fast and efficient. So was check out (3) The room was clean, and everything was in functional order - the room I was in did not smell of cigarette smoke (something I was expecting based on older reviews) (4) The hotel provided a no-frills continental breakfast.

Everything was pretty good except the room was a little smoky. After the first night, I bought a can of Fabreeze and that helped.

I love it it was really nice and clean friendly staff
