The Westin Southfield Detroit

The service was excellent. My room was a bit dusty/musty.

Overpriced, inefficient staff with poor communication skills. Breakfast was not included. Hotel advertisement says it is. Would not stay here again. Suggest Embassy Suites.

Stayed just one night. Everything went smoothly. Using room card to operate the elevator was the only minor complication. Just need to read the sign inside the elevator.

Stayed here one night flying out of Detroit the following day. Not really near anything but decent. Directions to get to the front of the building are confusing. Wifi was mediocre. Parking was confusing because of the construction and lack of signage.

I've stayed here before and while the place is clean, convenient and family friendly, the rooms could use an update. Furniture was a little worn and a refrigerator with refreshments would have been nice. There was also a surplus fridge in my room. Looked like they just left the old one in there when upgrading to the other. Dinner in the restaurant was VERY good! Breakfast, surprisingly not so much (in terms of the buffet). Wish I'd ordered from the menu.

Clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would reccomend the hotel to others.

Hotel was clean, and staff was excellent. Elevators have an odd setting to serve lower floors first, making getting to anything over the 5th floor frustrating.

My best friend wanted her wedding glam squad stationed at this hotel. For convenience, I booked a room in the same hotel and I was so glad I did. The entire staff was so accommodating to the bride's friends and family. I enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Michigan.

My stay at the Westin was very nice. It was a clean hotel and very quiet.

I enjoyed my stay in the executive suite. I wish they had a microwave in the rooms. The view was awesome

Took over 30 minutes to check in. Line had 8 people with some guest checking into multiple rooms for friends and family. Only 2 staff members working at the front desk. After checking in things were great and took only 30 seconds to check out.

We had a hard time getting to the hotel because of construction. Some roads were totally closed and others were changed to one-way only, so our GPS was not useful. Staff were wonderful; helpful and courteous. We stayed in the wheelchair accessible room. The hotel was clean and kept up nice - but the decor was definitely outdated. Could use some new carpeting and a paint job. Breakfast was not included - that was a disappointment - since you are paying a premium for the rooms - breakfast should be included. All-in-all our 2 night stay was satisfactory but we will be staying someplace else next year when we come back.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom was excellent.

Overall, our hotel stay was great. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Hotel was good. Wanted to watch the Big Ten network for MSU basketball but it wasn't available in the room or in the bar area. No free WIFI anywhere in the hotel either.

The hotel was surprisingly nice. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant was nice. I would stay here again.

Mixed up with food bill paid twice. Please change.

Our recent stay at this motel was a great experience. The health club and pool were very we'll maintained and clean.

Fast checkin, great staff with awesone rooms. Beds were snazing.

Very nice place and staff, everything was perfect. Great looking view from the rooms.
