What I didn't like is that we have been staying at the Westin Hotel since the early 2000's maybe late 90's and we have never had a problem at check in time, but this time they gave me a big problem and I had to call customer service because my wife for the last 23 years name was not on the itinerary but she is on the account. I have never been so embarrassed in my life everyone standing there looking at me like I'm cheating on my wife.

This Hotel has not been cleaned for years, at least from the beginning of pandemic. Windows are dirty, carpet is dirty, there is not air ventilation in rooms. Staff are very friendly and polite.

I would like to give the newly renovated Marriott Southfield and its staff five stars. However, I must give an overall rating of four stars, as the shortage of people to fill jobs at hotels in the Detroit area resulted in no one ever coming to my room to empty the trash. Nonetheless, every other aspect of the hotel was very clean. Also, Jenny and Noah at the reception made my Marriott experience a pleasure.

Parking is limited

The location was perfect. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room was ok, felt a bit dark and dingy, but seemed clean, just did not look obvious, if that makes sense. Enjoyed our stay overall.

Amazing

I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay for parking. Other then that my stay was great!

There's no fridge or microwave in the room. My husband and I backs hurt so bad when we woke up, bed not comfortable. The hallways look unfinished when you take the steps, makes you feel unsafe. Our toilet seat also kept slipping off. Four star hotel my Butt!!

Very nice location. Rooms are very nice as well. We did have our toilet that was running .

No fridge microwave paid parking no breakfast.....

The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful.
