enjoyed trip-hotel very well done--easy to get in/out and the staff was very helpful

I stayed at the hotel in June. The exterior and the common areas of the interior of this old hotel looks great however, the room and staff fell far short of my expectations. I checked in after midnight with my octogenarian mother. We were exhausted from traveling from California to Michigan. I was pushing her wheelchair and pulling a suitcase while she was holding my computer bag, her purse, and her walker. We must have been a site. Did anybody at the hotel offer any assistance when we checked in or when we checked out? No. Perhaps worse, it was a hot and humid Michigan summer night and the air conditioning in the room was worthless. The temperature in the room was over 80 degrees. The result was a short and extremely uncomfortable stay.

The food at the restaurant and lounge were great. Try the humus and the salmon burger.

Everything from the staff to the room was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and nice: We had a small issue in our room and the nicest maintenance man came and fixed it within minutes. Its always a treat when you can see people enjoying their work, whatever that may be. We were in the Luther Burbank building (the grounds are large). The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The breakfast was huge and delicious and on the weekend they serve it until 2pm!!!! :) The pool area is also very nice especially on those hot Michigan summer days, unfortunately we only got to use it once. We did take advantage of the bar however every night and they also have a great staff who make awesome specialty drinks! The place is very close to the Henry Ford museum and The Village. Those each take a day at least to really enjoy. Amazing history in Detroit! I highly recommend the Rouge Plant Tour where you get to see the final assembly of the Ford F150: very interesting stuff! Make sure to go downtown and drive around the devastated neighborhoods (drive up and down Jeffrey Ave by the river). Its kind of emotionally disturbing to see such an historically important city in ruins but it will likely give you newfound appreciation and understanding of the situation. My heart goes out to the people of Detroit.

The room was exceptionally cold. When asked to tun the heat on, they brought in a floor heater. The bathroom was very small, one sink and not enough room for two people to use. Also, no phone reception at all in our room and they charge for Wifi.

All the services were very good. The only issue we had was with the very high Restaurant prices and no free coffee in the Lobby.

I had a meeting at the Henry Ford Museum, a 10 minute walk from the Dearborn Inn. I don't know if I would bring my family there as it is a very old and fancy place, but I would be very comfortable bringing my wife there. Comfortable bed, great shower.

Hotel is in Dearborn about a 15 minute drive to downtown Detroit. The location is perfect as it is just down the street from the Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. The property has extensive grounds and simply walking around the buildings is a pleasant experience. Staff were as nice as I could wish for. All were very helpful.

Arrived late at night - checked in, tired and ready to go to bed. Had to walk back outside in the night to walk "75 yards" (more like 2 city blocks) to get to my building. Lukewarm water shower in the morning. Went to get a cup of coffee in the lobby in the morning and was told I would need to pay $2.75 for the paper cup. Really?

Stayed here three weeks ago and had two much better rooms. The two rooms we were given, this stay, were musty smelling with damp bedding. When I requested non-feather pillows it took over an hour to receive them. Then they brought me feather pillows again....Ordered Salmon Oscar in the restaurant and was surprised when it was delivered with cold canned crab on top of the salmon. it took over twenty minutes to get another waitstaff to get the bill. Terrible service.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Location for business and pleasure was very close and easy to get around. Great area to walk around with lots of things to see.

Arrival routine, no surprises. Room very comfortable. Ten Eyck Pub facility and staff 1st rate. I will return.

Excellent hotel, history and luxury well balanced. Staff is little bit slow but still nice...

This hotel is showing it's age! Our room was in a separate unit, with NO ELEVATOR! Carrying our bags to the second floor was def not something I had planned on doing. We had requested a king bed, we were given 2 doubles. We asked to change, then had to carry our suitcases down those same two flights, to a room that was less than desirable. Our ceiling was stained and apparently had a leak, the paint was coming off, the wall had a hole in it. The walls were paper thin, and we were woken up at 3:30 in the morning when our neighbor was taking a shower! Very undesirable. Would NEVER stay here again.

Rooms were great - service excellent and historical nature of the hotel wonderful. This is a first class restoration job for a hotel that is approaching 100 years old!

Staff was great. Meeting facilities were very nice. Restaurant was delicious.

This hotel is located blocks away from The Henry Ford museum and only minutes from downtown Detroit. Our second stay here, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The hotel is nice while offernig historic charm and updated rooms. It's proximity to everything we wanted to see and do in Detroit made it a great place to stay.

Stayed in cottages. Heater did not work. walls thin and not sound proof. suites in cottages very roomy. indivigual rooms very samll(could not walk around the bed). grounds beautifull and quite well kept.

Very clean, very nicely decorated. Quiet, calm, peaceful. Not a party-hotel. Many weddings going on. No complaints. Easy check-in/check-out. Reasonable rates. Free wi-fi would be nice though.

The Conciere service was great with outstanding food and drinks provided nearly every day. Only downside was staff forgot to deliver our USA Today last two days and our bill under the door the morning of our last day. Lots of history in those walls -- a perfect setting for weddings. The grounds were in mint condition.
