Location is key. It is in a great spot downtown. However there is no garden area. was hoping for a nice place to sit outside at a garden inn..
They did not clean the room and has little decoration the room looks very dark and did not make me feel comfortable especially that I have known other Hilton hotels. Successes and that they improve it.
Everything was good with the exception to the "buffet breakfast" I was not impressed. It was very high priced for what you get. And no options for anything else

The rooms were average and the staff was friendly. The beds were very uncomfortable and would squeak or make loud crinkle noises every time you moved like sleeping on tissue paper. The toilet ran all night, the shower & bathroom looked cheap. No breakfast was available.
I paid for a Jr. King suite—when I walked up to my room, the lighting was very dim, making the very dated hallway harder to see. The room was very spacious; however, the bathroom was not clean. There was vomit in the carpet that had not been cleaned. Housekeeping quickly came up to resolve the issue, but this should not have been an issue to begin with. It was very very disgusting.
Staff was fantastic. Other guests were loud until the wee hours. Outside music, traffic and partiers made for wakefull nights.

Nice hotel. Conveniently located to Comerica Park. Friendly staff. Stayed on 7th floor & very loud outside in evening until early morning. Used valet parking which wasn’t included in stay so pricey hotel for just one night.
The front desk staff was amazing. I don’t remember her name but sh was Jamaican. She was on duty when we checked in and out. She was so cheerful and helped us in so many ways. She was what made our stay excellent.
The staff was very nice and accommodating. The first room smelled of smoke and they moved us with no problem. It wasn't completely prepared either: water in the tub and only shampoo in the bathroom. It was noisy outside but that isn't the hotel's fault. It was great for walking around the city and near the play park.
Parking was $27 for one night. I understand this hotel is in the city
