A set of twin bunk beds is situated in a niche located in the hallway, positioned just next to the unit’s second full bath for easy access. There is also a sleeper sofa in living room. The Pelican Tiki Bar is the lively beachside bar – stop by and ask your friendly bartender to mix you a refreshing drink to take to the beach or sit by the pool. The Pelican Beach Café brews fresh coffee and is open for breakfast mornings at 8 serving yummy pastries and breakfast sandwiches. You can order lunch and take it to the pool or beach (note, this is closed November to January) You can even order a beach set up right at the private boardwalk leading to the beach. Very nice

We thought the unit was very nice and clean and as described. My son slept on the pull out couch because the mattress for the bunkbeds was very uncomfortable, it was like laying on box springs. Another issue we had which doesn't have to do with the unit itself but more of an FYI for future renters is that they are doing construction or something on the roof and the units beside us, there were lots of banging and hammering starting around 7 or 8 am everyday - so no sleeping in on your vacation!

It was nice, but the bathrooms could have been cleaner. Mold around the faucets, and the main entrance door has to be pushed to get it opened. Code worked but had to try at least a couple of times because of what I mentioned. The view was spectacular!!

The view from this condo was AMAZING! We spent so much time out on the balcony just watching the waves. My kids loved the bunk beds, although I was a little unsure of the railing on the top bunk. It was very loose. The master bedroom bed was comfortable and the dresser was big enough for our whole family’s clothes. There were a few issues. Not a fault of this unit, but the elevators were awful. There were 5 of them and at least one was always broken. The waits could take forever sometimes. At one point, the call buttons for the bank of 4 elevators together weren’t working, so everyone had to use the single outdoor elevator. In the unit, the microwave started tripping the breaker halfway through our stay. We notified property management, but didn’t want to wait for someone to come fix it, so we were without a microwave for a day. Property management is very quick at responding to issues. Lastly, I went to fill up the bathtub in the master and the water had so much dirt/black stuff floating in it. I don’t know if it was a water problem or dirty tub problem, but we all used the stand up shower the whole trip. Overall, our stay was great. The resort is awesome, with 3 pools and hot tubs, a tiki bar, cafe, beautiful beach, and parking garage. We’d definitely stay at Pelican Beach again.

Great Getaway!

The property was very clean and had ample supplies, etc. The resort itself was also neat and clean, with helpful/friendly staff. Loved all of the resort amenities: tiki bar/cafe, pools, hot tub, beach chair service, etc. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful View, Great Location

I would stay here again but maybe in a different unit. The typical condo furniture is probably rented and in sad shape. The hide-a-bed is very uncomfortable and the chair is sticky. There is dust on the ceiling fans and headboards so the unit is sorely in need of a deep cleaning. The mattress is about 6 inched deep so not comfortable at all, getting up in the morning was easy because your back hurt so bad. The kitchen area was Nice and Clean and all appliances worked. TVs worked fine, so I would say it time for a deep clean and a furniture upgrade but other wise we were satisified. Realjoy was good to work woth and did thier best to accomodate your needs and schedule changes.
