Florida vacation

The condo was as described. Comfortable and clean. Elevators were challenging with the amount of people. Enjoyed the beach and pools.

Family Destin Vacation

The view from this condo was breathtaking! The condo complex was nice with easy access to the beach. The condo was very clean but had a musty smell- there is carpet in the living space which could be molding underneath. We had to buy febreze on the first night to mask the smell.

Great view of the ocean right on the beautiful beach

We enjoyed our stay at the Pelican. It was right on the beach looking at the ocean. It could use some updating simple paint, new couch, chair cushions, bedding.

Amazing view and clean condo

Long weekend trip. Cute, small condo. VERY clean and comfortable. Perfect view of the ocean. Listing mentions a shared washer and dryer are included. Not sure where those were located? But didn't need them for our stay. I'd recommend unit 607 and I'd stay here again. Vacasa was very easy to work with and provided all the information we needed.

Great stay! Wonderful Condo!

My husband and I were looking for a new spot to stay for our annual vacation. This one was great! Very clean and nice. Loved the pools and tiki bar! We had a blast and enjoyed the view!

Not terrible

This specific condo needs some updates and a good deep cleaning to the ceilings and walls. The ceilings had brownish spots all over in the bedroom area, bunk bed area and hallways…. and the unit itself could just use some simple updates for the price you pay to stay here (scuff marks/repaint and the carpet being removed). Also the blankets are paper thin, so I recommend bringing your own. The resort itself was great. The pools were clean, it was right on beach and they serve drinks and food during the day by the pool. Also if you are traveling, keep in mind you do have to wait until the check in time, there’s no early check in option. Overall, we had a great time!

Location is great. This particular condo needs to be upgraded.

Beautiful views, and has lots of potential. Needs some work however. Couch is falling apart and needs to be replaced. Carpet should be ripped out. As far as kitchen items go, everything needed was there, minus regular sized spoons which was a little awkward, but not a big deal. Sofa bed was dirty and had chips all over it. Got to the location 1.5 ish hours early and they wouldn’t let us in, even though it was empty and clean. That was a little frustrating….

I vacation in Destin every year. I have stayed at this resort for many years. This was the worst experience I have ever had. 1) Refrigerator did not work the ENTIRE STAY!!! $300 worth of groceries were ruined. 2) The ceiling leaked in one of the bathrooms from the unit above. Flooded the floors in one bathroom and ceiling materials were literally falling down. 3) The carpet was DISGUSTING. You could not take 3 steps across the carpet without it staining your feet because of how filthy they were. 4) There was an exposed tack strip in the master bedroom with nails sticking out which we stepped on multiple times as I’m sure every person before us has also. Serious health risk. 5) There were multiple stains on all of the living room furniture. Disgusting large stains. 6) There was mold on almost every rooms ceiling surface. 7) Our passcode to our room was changed during the middle of our stay and we were locked out of our room for an hour while attempting to reach someone to let us back inside. 8) The pull-out sofa in the living room hardly functioned as a bed at all. Buy a real mattress. 9) Unable to get in contact with ANY property manager/owner related to any of these problems. Multiple attempts have been made with absolutely zero results. The management company Vacasa confirmed they have spoken to the property manager and made them aware of these problems and they have done absolutely NOTHING in response.

Loved the view; Needs a few touch ups.

Couple of things need work. 1-Ceiling is covered in mold near AC vents 2-Carpet out of Master Bath has carpet nails poking through. Caused a slight cut on foot. 3-The couch/sleeper needs some love as it sags pretty heavily in the center.

Save your money, find another unit

Unit needs serious updating/maintenance. Resort facilities clean and nice. Called for help, nobody called or came to help for 7 days. Called Vacasa - they promised help the next day and never came or called again. Exterior balcony light busted, exterior handle on sliding door broke off, no mattress in sleeper couch in living room (very hard to sit on), garbage disposal didn’t work, freezer constantly dripped water to point we had to put a pan in there to catch it, 1 remote for 2 TVs, and the most horrible dirty disgusting furniture and carpet you have ever seen. Stay in another unit, couldn’t make all this up.

Everything was good. Just a few upgrades needed: master bedroom mattress, master bathroom hot water, and carpet right before entering master bathroom. Second bathroom made up for master bathroom not having the best hot water though. Will book this unit again. The view and everything else was great.

Good rate. Nice resort. Will stay at Pelican Besch Resort again just not in this unit. Carpet needs replaced. Kitchen needs complete remodel. Needs new couch and living room chair both are worn and stained. Listing said jetted tub. Tub not jetted.
