The worst experience of my life, could have been shot!!! We were in town for State Weightlifting Meet. Reserved two adjoining rooms. When we checked in we were told that our rooms were not side by side much less adjoining. My Sisters room was on the back side and it was a smoking room! Not what we ask for! They blocked all our rooms off ahead of time or that was what we were told!!! She gave my sister a room that was already taken. When I walked her to the back side of the building and opened the door it was already taken. After we went back to the office and told them what had happened we were told there was not anymore rooms available! This was a horrible mistake and something needs to be done that this never happens to anyone else. We could have been shot. My sister had to stay in the room with me and my husband which was so uncomfortable for all of us! Oh have I mentioned how bad the room was, unclean and smelled terrible. I feel like Quality Inn needs to do something to make up for this awful experience.
Located close to Blue Springs State Park. A good value. I found the breakfast to be fine, the wifi was good and the bed comfortable. TV was fine and refrigerator was helpful. Pool looked fine with several kids enjoying it.
The room itself was clean, but the exterior of the hotel leaves little to be desired. The pool didn't look appealing, so we went mini-golfing next door. Ok for an over-night before leaving town, but not for longer.
We was there for two nights for Daytona. The room was Clean and all funktion. Only the wifi dosent work. The pool and the breakfast, we don't used. The fitnessroom was closed. So for one or two nights is ok to stay.
This is a decent place for a night or two. Breakfast is adequate but the cable TV selection sucks eggs. Owner disappears to his native India for weeks at a time so there is little oversight to ensure that no problems arise and are taken care of posthaste.
Wanted to stay close to Stetson University during our daughter's college visit. Staff were friendly, but the room was very tired. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. For the price, I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel for the same rate. Won't stay again.
We were caught in a flight cancellation in Sanford Fl.and of course it didn't take long for nearby hotels to fill up. We Googled hotels and the price for this Quality inn sounded good. The pictures of the front of hotel and pool looked nice. So we booked it for 2 nights while it available. It was about a half hour from airport. We checked in and the lobby was nice and clean. We couldn't get our reward points because we booked thru Priceline. Anyway we checked in but rooms weren't ready. So the kids went swimming. This is where we found out that the pool wasn't heated. Then we got to the rooms... they were standard motel rooms, big enough. They had a microwave and a fridge and a coffee maker although no cups. We went out for a bit. When we got back we discovered a couple of weird looking bugs in the bathroom and the door was in shambles..it looked like it had been kicked in a few times and repaired with a screwdriver and screws.. looked horrible. We tried to make the best of our 2 day stay.. we couldn't cancel day 2 again because it was they 3rd party. They did have free breakfast. Sausage and eggs and cereals and yogurt. Will I stay there again .. most likely not.
We had to leave New Smyrna Beach because of the storm, so, we went into Orange City to Stay for 3 days at the Quality Inn It was reasonable, clean and comfortable. Nothing really special The staff was friendly such as Nick, Bob, and the maintenance person. It is close to all amenities and road access. Too many dogs allowed
There were roaches crawling out from underneath my bed. My bathroom wasn't filled or stocked. Leaking faucet. Then more bugs and a roach in the bath tub. Seemed like the bathtub faucet was leaking too. I called for someone to fix the problem and to spray my room for bugs and nobody came to help. My sheets were dirty and yellow looking. The comforter had a musty smell to it. Just gross. And the front desk people are not very polite. It's like they are talking down to you. The pool had bugs floating all around. My kids were kinda disappointed, when I said were gonna pass on that today. There is no communication with the mgmt. this hotel is very very old, and should be re modeled. Not very happy with this place at all. I DO NOT recommend, Quality Inn at all. Another bad one is the Days Inn, orange City both seemed similar, musty Oder rooms, dirty sheets and dirty comforter. Roaches as well. Both hotels are an otrocity, in orange city. The worst of the worst. Turn around and make another choice, because I can tell you, choice, is not the choice.....
I booked my room on line. I did call to see if they had truck parking. The lady indicated yes if you get here early enough before the parking lot fills up. I arrived at 3pm. I had room to park the tractor trailer. Room was ok. Pool was small but nice. I can't speak about the breakfast. I had to leave early. The only complaint I have is that they didn't leave the A/C on in the room. So I went to the pool while the room cooled down.
