Great place.. but I would say way to many really old people there.. almost felt like retirement center..

We paid $141 a night for 2 people. The bathroom sink was plugged up. Light in kitchen burnt out. Stove didn't work. Toilet screeched. They did fix. 2nd night more problems. Light fixture in kitchen fell down. Problem with blind. Won't return.

Location is excellent Wish ther was something better close by.

Our trip began with an hour and a half wait at registration followed by a sales pitch appointment for time shares in order to receive a parking pass. Didn't get room hours later til after 6pm. Even worse experience w same issue for our friends. 2/2 oceanfront room and amenities were nice and good for families but the hotel was literally an animal house movie every evening. Hotel seemed to do very little such as checking hotel keys at the elevators to control it.

This is a very nice place to stay as a couple or with a family. We really like the location because we hate having to drive everywhere we want to go when on vacation. Connected to the hotel is a small shopping plaza with many places to eat. Your also connected to the boardwalk and you can walk to Joe's Crab Shack.

Our objective is to be on the beach within easy walking distance of the center of activity. The Wyndham provides that, with internal access to the Ocean Walk. Other plusses include large pools, tubing pool, easy beach access, large garages, plenty of elevators, flat screen TVs. We had a roomy quiet ocean front one bedroom, full kitchen/laundry with nice balcony. Breakfast is not provided, but there is an nice diner and IHOP across the street. There are two types of rentals, timeshare and motel. Signing up for the timeshare sales pitch is not required. Maid service only comes in at the end of stay which can be good if you don't like the idea of strangers in your room. The only negatives were, except for the new king bed, the furnishings were showing their age, dryer bearings screeched and garbage disposal didn't work. Neither my Android phone or tablet could see the Assus WiFi router in the South Lobby but the Netgear router in the North Lobby was easily accessible. (Only Timeshares get in room WiFi.) Bottom line, we'll add the Wyndham to the short list of places to check next year.

the best place I've ever stayed at in 40 years! the rooms needed a little maintenance

Injoyed our stay, nice area and Hotel was nice. Only issue was the strong smell of pool clorine in the hotel from the indoor pools.

The pool area was way too small for the amount of people that could stay at the hotel at the same time during a holiday weekend.

Stayed here for Spring Break. Excellent choice! Right in the middle of all the activities, nightlife, restaurants, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

Staff is unbelievably rude and complacent! Amenities and location are great though. Note that this hotel does NOT offer free breakfast offered as part of deal on website!

This is truly the best vacation we have bad ,super friendly staff .The resort was clean and lots of fun Truly the best ,we will stay again

We had no air conditioning and no one offered to help fix it. It was HOT. Personally, Daytona Beach is kind of trashy and this hotel wasn't much better.

- after a long tired drive , arrived @3:30 pm waited in line til 4:06 pm to check in , room still not ready! got a call later when room ready (they just too busy I think ) - home theater system didn't work(don't need anyway) , kitchen cook top only 1 out of 4work ,door step at balcony is dangerous ( piece of flat aluminum stick up about 2.5 inches) can get strip and fall, hurt when step on it, - out door fresh water shower doesn't work as it should, ( dripping not showering) -not enough tube for lazy river at peak time,

This would be my second time I stay here. We come to Daytona for every spring break. Found this to be one of the best hotel just because they have so many things to do for the kids. Especially when the weather isn't in our favor. Rooms were big w/everything you could need. Close to the pier and there's little shopping center that's connected to the building, so if it's cold outside you don't have to walk outside just thru the building. If your a family looking for a place to stay this is the place 100%!!

Arrived only to have several staff at front desk say they could not find my reservation. After being asked several times "When did u book this" they said there was nothing they could do and NO rooms available. I had to take it upon myself to go downstairs to their computer area and look up my reservation, print it out to take to front desk area to prove I had one. After showing them, they said their policy was a two night requirement and mine was for only one night. After a staff member took my paper work to someone behind a door she returned and threw my papers on the counter and told the young gentleman who was helping me to go ahead and give me a room. He asked what floor I would like. First thought was "Thought you didn't have any rooms available" Plus the young gentleman had a extreme heavy accent which was very difficult to understand him. Will not stay there ever again for a $200 a night stay.

Everyone at the Wyndham went the extra mile to make it great. The only problem we had was getting maintenance to come up and fix our stuck sliding glass door. We had to call twice but then got it fixed immediately.

we encountered a few minor problems with our room and expressed our concerns to staff at front desk and were told we are sorry we cant help you, even if you need a roll of toilet paper. Our room booked through a online travel site was a rented time share, not the responsibility of the motel. So, we had no room service, no clean towels, etc. Thank god we were only there for 3 nights. Because of this, we may not use an online travel site again. Had used it last October and did not encounter this problem, but, we should of been notified of this possibility of the time share rooms in hotel/resort settings.

And old, dried up, disgusting fruit (we think) in the disposal!? The room was not properly cleaned. Additionally, there was no coffee - which is fine I guess - but would have been nice to know ahead of time. They did not clean the room during our stay, which is another thing I would have liked to know PRIOR to leaving the bed unmade, using all of the towels, etc. It's a great location for this competition, otherwise, we would never stay there again. And it's WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the "value".
