Amenities are good, nice pool/beach access, food is great. Staff is friendly. There was a sock left in our room from a previous guest and the pillows were dirty. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Still nicer than most places in Daytona.

Great location by the beach nice pool great food bike umbrella rentals only 5 star on the strip I'll be staying again

My stay was paid in full before arrival but had to give another thousand just because, pretty sad also didn't have room I booked and paid extra for.not pleased and will not stay again

Only one night but was able to enjoy the facilities after check out while wait for a later appointment.

I like the hotel especially tha marshmallow roasting.

Upgraded to a room with a "view" but my view was the front street and roof of the cross walk. Also charged a $20 "hotel fee" without any explanation.

Absolutely loved my stay. The Cabana room was absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be booking again!

room rates are reasonable, but we found things a bit pricy to fit our budget, like the restraint and the bar and gift shop. we weren't happy that we couldn't get an ocean front room with a balcony after booking this trip at least 4 months in advance?

Would stay there again. Only complaint would be about the lack of heat in the room, but they may not be set up for cod temperatures in January. Overall a great experience.

We had stayed there before just after the remodel. It seems pretty worn just in two years...maybe it was the Hurricane. Our friends room on the 8th floor with balcony. Had so many bugs you couldn't go outside. We did the beer fest which happened to be the night we were there. That was fun but they broke the food down too early and we had many left over food tickets we had pre-bought.

two and a half day trip to this area from south florida

This hotel is by far the best hotel in Daytona Beach. They are accomodating to your every need & make you feel like the only customers there. The staff is extremely nice & do everything they can to make you feel at home. The rooms are gorgeous with beautiful views & the comfort level cannot get any better

Nice hotel. Lobby and grounds are fantastic. There is a flight of stairs from the pool deck to the beach, so beware of you have any sort of mobility issues. My mom was with me and has a hard time with her knee due but luckily in Daytona you can drive on the beach. The first room we were given wasn't clean and the air conditioner was broken, but they moved us to another room and it was fine.

The Shores resort and spa is a great place! A few things to know before booking is there is a $15 resort fee & a $12 self parking or $18 valet fee you pay when you arrive. Also, we got charged a $20 in room movie charge, we didn't rent a movie. Make sure to check your checkout statement before leaving the hotel. At checkout they took the charge off, but it was good we caught it before leaving.

When we first entered the hotel, we went to reception to get our room keys and the man was very kind, he told us where the pool and the beach were and where our room was. We were all comfortable and happy in the room, but the pool was dirty and the pool Service was horrible. If you go inside the pool and look down at the water you can not see your own legs and we had asked for the menu, twice, and we never got it so I had to get it myself. When we finally ordered and received the food, they did not bring napkins, forks, spoons, or knifes. Nice hotel room and kind people but it could be better.

Though we only stayed one night, we enjoyed our stay. Great room overlooking the ocean and good access to the beach. The facilities are very nice and well maintained. The staff was quite friendly. I would definitely return for a longer stay.

Very nice and helpful staff, check-in and check-out were seamless. Rooms were updated and clean, hotel smelled fresh.

We were right on the beach with a balcony. Great view of the beach and enjoyed the location in general. The hotel staff as very helpful. Will certainly consider staying here again.

The location was excellent but the rooms are filthy. There are No fitted sheets. I pulled back the 1 sheet to find stains, a dead roach leg and hairs all over the mattress (got pics). They don't clean soap scum off shower walls. They moved us to a room that smelled like animals but the view was excellent! Staff are horrible! Except manager.
