We loved the private beach. However cleanliness of the apartment leaves to be desired: the terrace was dusty all over and the toilets and doors poorly cleaned. Worst of all, the toilets did not flush properly, and we nearly got flooded. Later, we noticed that there were plungers in both bathrooms. Definitely not a place we want to go back to. In addition, the food at the Atlantic Grille was too rich and unhealthy for our taste, and my wife had trouble finding the chicken in the chicken soup.
Some staff were very friendly but some staff were very rude to my daughter, her friend, and my mom.

Hated staying here. For the price the room was terrible. Room was super dated, hallway had stained carpet throughout our hallway, toilet and furnace were very loud when in use. When checking in we had difficulty getting parking and finding our room, hotel help wasn’t up to par. I booked this stay in hope to spend the whole day here enjoying the amenities. Unfortunately due to all the issues we just left first thing in the morning. Place was more stressful to stay in than relaxing. Too many other things to list but we will definitely never be going back or recommending to others.
The facility was clean, employees was nice and the restaurant have pretty good menu.

Loved all the amenities. View from the balcony breathtaking overlooking the ocean and golf course. Some things outdated such as the indoor pool and hot tubs. Very musty/moldy smell in the hallway to our room in hotel lodge. Heavy odor of air fresheners.

We stayed at the Hammock Beach resort at the end of July 2021. We stayed in an ocean view suite owned and operated by the hotel. While our stay wasn’t horrible, I do not plan to return nor would I recommend staying here. I definitely wouldn’t classify Hammock Beach resort as a luxury property in its current form. There was virtually no one wearing masks indoors in the public areas of the resort with the exception of 2 staff from bell services. Pros: the view was great, my kids enjoyed the lazy river, and the putt putt was nice. My husband and I both used the fitness facility every day there and it was great that they had 3 peloton bikes. Cons: Our room was very worn. There is a charge for beach chairs and umbrellas as well as *some* of the poolside chairs. I would expect cabanas to have an extra fee but the chairs near the zero entry kids pool were also reserved which was disappointing. Many resort patrons would leave their towels on chairs when they left for the day resulting in a shortage of poolside chairs. There is also no ice machine for guests to access, although you can call the front desk and they will bring ice to your room. We ended up buying a bag of ice from the nearby Publix to keep our water bottles cold. Lastly, the resort patrons don’t really follow any of the posted rules and definitely brought their own food and beverage into the pool area (which some may view as a positive thing) and people were eating IN the pool.
I came here with my husband for our anniversary. The pictures of the facilities looked incredible so we were very excited to visit. Unfortunately the actual experience did not live up to the photos. We paid for an ocean view room and we’re extremely disappointed when we saw our view with no ocean. The front desk was reasonable and gave us another room with a better ocean view. We went to our next room and found the room extremely dated and unclean. The floors and furniture had multiple stains, the bed had clumps of hair in it, the bathroom door was,literally, hanging off of the hinges and would not close properly. Unfortunately other locations around the hotel were not properly maintained and were in need of clear repair, cleaning, and maintenance. We ended up checking out early to find a different hotel because of the cleanliness. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance was unacceptable and inexcusable.
The property was beautiful the pools was awesome the only thing I didn’t like about this place was the restaurants very overpriced and the food was not up to par everything else was wonderful
