Staff was all very friendly

Loved all the amenities. View from the balcony breathtaking overlooking the ocean and golf course. Some things outdated such as the indoor pool and hot tubs. Very musty/moldy smell in the hallway to our room in hotel lodge. Heavy odor of air fresheners.

The staff was SOOO friendly and the grounds were Sooo clean !

We stayed at the Hammock Beach resort at the end of July 2021. We stayed in an ocean view suite owned and operated by the hotel. While our stay wasn’t horrible, I do not plan to return nor would I recommend staying here. I definitely wouldn’t classify Hammock Beach resort as a luxury property in its current form. There was virtually no one wearing masks indoors in the public areas of the resort with the exception of 2 staff from bell services. Pros: the view was great, my kids enjoyed the lazy river, and the putt putt was nice. My husband and I both used the fitness facility every day there and it was great that they had 3 peloton bikes. Cons: Our room was very worn. There is a charge for beach chairs and umbrellas as well as *some* of the poolside chairs. I would expect cabanas to have an extra fee but the chairs near the zero entry kids pool were also reserved which was disappointing. Many resort patrons would leave their towels on chairs when they left for the day resulting in a shortage of poolside chairs. There is also no ice machine for guests to access, although you can call the front desk and they will bring ice to your room. We ended up buying a bag of ice from the nearby Publix to keep our water bottles cold. Lastly, the resort patrons don’t really follow any of the posted rules and definitely brought their own food and beverage into the pool area (which some may view as a positive thing) and people were eating IN the pool.

I came here with my husband for our anniversary. The pictures of the facilities looked incredible so we were very excited to visit. Unfortunately the actual experience did not live up to the photos. We paid for an ocean view room and we’re extremely disappointed when we saw our view with no ocean. The front desk was reasonable and gave us another room with a better ocean view. We went to our next room and found the room extremely dated and unclean. The floors and furniture had multiple stains, the bed had clumps of hair in it, the bathroom door was, literally, hanging off of the hinges and would not close properly. Unfortunately other locations around the hotel were not properly maintained and were in need of clear repair, cleaning, and maintenance. We ended up checking out early to find a different hotel because of the cleanliness. The lack of cleanliness and maintenance was unacceptable and inexcusable.

The property was beautiful the pools was awesome the only thing I didn’t like about this place was the restaurants very overpriced and the food was not up to par everything else was wonderful

The overall destination and hotel is awesome. I will definitely visit again.

Room was very clean the view was amazing the restaurants was great heated pools

The resort appears large and impressive with the towers. Gate check in can be overwhelmingly busy. The guard forgot to give me back my driver's license gave me directions to the towers and my stay was at the lodge. When i arrived at the lodge it was requested thankfully I had a picture and was able to check in. However it was never brought over and after three hours I went to retrieve it to find it had been taken to the towers. There was no communication between the concierge at the towers and that at the lodge. The Lodge had wear to the exterior, reception area was nice, elevator was like a freight elevator with visible rust and no ventilation. Oddly for world class resort there was a microwave in reception on second floor and often food wrappers. In my suite the refrigerator took 24 hr to get cold. The balcony to the oceanfront suite had no privacy and were very small. Furnishings outside were peeling. The bed linens and bath linens were far from luxurious. The bed was very uncomfortable. There is no vent in the bathroom. The most appealing thing about the room were the draperies and the molding of the trey ceiling. The interior was not picture perfect at the lodge. I was not impressed with the service, communication, or the appearance of this resort.

As always Orbitz partners and favors reports wrong its a very unclean place terrible i should of not get bought by the pics which i did anyway the 3 bedroom apartment they gave me i had to clean all of it from scratch just didn’t want to have the kids moved again my choice was Sarasota bu we said lets try something else wrong move stay away not clean at all im sure if the health dept gets called they may shut it down !!

We had a wonderful stay at Hammock! check in was smooth and our three bedroom was very clean. We also had an amazing view. The grounds are very well kept, we enjoyed all the amenities. The beach is beautiful and the pools are fun for both kids and adults. Anytime we called for something we needed it was brought to our room right away. We cannot wait to go back!!

It was better for smaller children. The beach was nice, but there were way too many giant rocks in the water, that we kept hurting our feet on. It got too the point that it was to dangerous to enjoy.

The location, property and amenities are beautiful. Loved the pools and lazy river. Wait staff was great. We don't golf but the course looked very nice. Our room was a bit dirty and, because of covid, we were not offered any housekeeping. We had to track down fresh towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc. Buildings are not marked well and are hard to find. Drinks were very expensive, like cruise ship prices. Staff was hit and miss on friendliness and organization. One concierge couldn't even bother to look up from his computer, when we said hello, waving at us with his finger. Over all, we still had a good time and had no major issues. We just expected more from a resort like this... the little things count.

Golf facilities were first class, felt the resort is a bit dated but very clean.

This place is probably one of my favorite places in FL, I love it bc I can have a little vacation anytime I want. I live just an hour away and it feels like I’m somewhere far far from home (in a good way) I love that there are several activities and restaurants on site. Normally this place knocks it out of the park for me but this time my room wasn’t ready until 5:30pm, so that was a bummer. They let me have a slightly later checkout the next day which was nice since I only stayed the one night. LOVE the big soaking bathtubs and enjoyed a round of golf this time! I’ll definitely be back!
